Akaria woke up early as he walks towards the docks to make sure the Lady Ojoshi boat is ready to be summoned .

"Akaria! What a surprise that I would see you here. It has been a long time since I last saw you. " 

The fourteen year old turns around to see an familiar face from his childhood. 

He grins at the man, as he fistbumps him as he said, "Sayama, it has been a while. I didn't know you would be helping with the Ofunehiki preparations." 

The man replied with a wink, "I wouldn't miss out on doing the Ofunehiki , Akaria. Come to think of it, it does bring me back memories of the last one we had, with Manaka, Chisaki, and the others. 

In fact, it was amazing that Hikari was able to pull it off when he did. We couldn't do anything without his help." 

The boy looks at one of the flags of the Ofunehiki, Sayama begins to pull him towards him, "You know, I think it's time you waved the flag of Ofunehiki." 

The boy quickly said, "Sayama, come on, man! It's not that necessary-" 

But the man quickly changed the boy's uniform and puts him as the man of the sea. 

As the boy looks at his new attire, Hikari said, "I am amazed that it actually fits you, Akaria. It does bring me back of wearing for the ceremony."

Akaria blushes , "You really think so?" 

"Yeah, here's a picture of me waving the flag. 

Akaria looks at the flag as he was amazed by how much his uncle waves it. 

"Wait, isn't that the very flag that Munia and I waved back when you first reached to the surface, after you awoken up?" 

"The very same one, Akaria. I'm still amazed that you actually remember that way back then." Hikari rubs his head at the question. 

But in Akaira's mind, "Who is going to be the new Lady Ojoshi? I just don't want anyone to become one." 

As he was lost in his thoughts, he notices Shelby as the Lady Ojoshi. 

"Shelby... you look beautiful as the Lady Ojoshi. Wait, you?!?" He exclaimed in pure shock and amazement of his friend's actions and determination for the festival.

Shelby knew that someone has to do something to tribute as the Lady Ojoshi, and since it is a new generation, she decides to do it , even though she knew that she would loose her ability to love.

"Shelby, you really don't have to do this, right?" Hikari said to her as she was putting the traditional clothing of the Lady Ojoshi before meeting with Akaria.

She said, not looking at him, "Hikari, you know as I do, that we can't let Akaria know that I'm not just doing for the sake of Oshiooshi, but I'm doing this for him.

Promise me that you wouldn't tell him about this." 

The boy nods , fully understanding of her concern as they went to do the sacred ceremony of the Ofunehiki.

As the Ofunehiki starts, Akari looks at her distance at the boats, as she watches with Itaru, who was worried about Hikari and the villager's health during the ceremony.

"Oh, Itaru, I'm actually scared . Would Akaria and the others be all right, will they make the journey on their own?"

"Honey, all we can do , is that we support them during the Ofunehiki. Akaria will be fine." Itaru said, trying to cheer his wife up.

Munia also watches in the distance, afraid for her younger brother. "Oh, be safe, Akaria." She whispers.

Himai looks at Hikari as he said, "I guess this is your first time being in a ceremony like the Ofunehiki, isn't, Himai?"

She said, 'Yeah, it is. It's so weird to think that the ceremony is how all bring the Oshiooshi and Shioshishio together, that's what I've heard from Manaka."

Hikari asks, in total shock, "Manaka told you that? Geez, I never thought that Manaka would actually tell anyone about the history of our villages like that.

She's really something else."

But then the waves turn into dangerous whirlpool, and Hikari said, "Akaria, Shelby, Uma!"

The teens notices the events unfolding around them, as Himai suddenly fell into the ocean!

"Himai!" Uma cried, as he jumps after her.

Uma swam deeper through the whirlpool and tries to swim upshore for her to breathe.

As the waves were hurdling through them, he notices Shelby helping him .

 "Shelby?" The boy asks in shock as she pushes them up to the boat surface.

Akaria asks, "Where's Shelby?"

"She's still in the water." Uma said, but Akaria jumps into the ocean after her. Himai wakes up as she notices that one of the harbor was going to hit the boat. "Uma!" She yells as he pushes her towards the railing, but fell overboard. 

"Uma! No!" She cries, but Tsumgu holds her tightly .

"Shelby! What you doing?!? Take my hand!" Akaria exclaims as he tries to reach into his friend's grip.

"Akaria... you idiot. You really are like Hikari." Shelby thought as she watches him get hit by the massive whirlpool.

Hikari was hit badly as the Ofunehiki ends as Akari notices her brother wounded.

"Hikari!" Munia exclaimed as they ran towards him as he was breathing heavily.

 "Will he be ok? I never thought that the Ofunehiki would do something so dangerous." 

"Where's Akaria and the others?" Manaka asks in curious , yet concern matter.

Himai was the only one who knew that answer.

Akaria and the others went into hibernation .
