Akira walks into the inside of his classroom. He was so eager to go into the sea, where he knows that he could breathe underwater with Ena.

"Hey, Akira. Good morning!" A voice said, causing him to turn around to see his best friend, Uma.

"Hey, Uma!" He greets him with a grin as he fist bump with the young teen.

"Let me take a wild guess. You want to go to the sea again, to Shioshishio where your mom and Uncle used to live?" 

He blushes as he rubs his head, as he said, "Was it too oblivious to ignore? It's the sea village! 

I wouldn't pass up the chance to go again. I just don't want anything to change, that's all there is to it." 

Uma rolls his eyes at his friend's enthusiasm, as their childhood friend, Shelby said, "You guys talking about the sea again?

You know how much it affects Hikari and the others, do you?"

 Akira begins to grow silent about hearing about his family, and he barely knows Hikari because of his time in hibernation during the last Ofunehiki festival ceremony.

"Well, it's not going to be like that! I just want to enjoy the sea and that's final!" Akira declares as he runs away from the teens.

"AKIRA!" Uma cries, as he tries to catch up to his friend's side as he spotted the fourteen year old staring at the pool of Ena that was used for the people of Shioshishio.  

Akira didn't stare at him as Uma ask, "You really want to go to Shioshishio right now? Don't you want to tell your family about it, about you feel towards Shelby?"

Akira turns towards his friend, "Why should they care if I had feelings for her?!? It's not their decision to know about my personal life , you know!" 

As Hikari walks into Akari's home, she said, "Hey, Hikari, I'm really glad that you were able to walk Akira to school today." 

Hikari rubs his head as he took his shoes off, "It's not a big deal , Akari. It's the least I can do for him since he is my nephew after all."

She asks, in a serious tone, "Does he know about the upcoming Ofunehiki yet? It would start the hibernation again and this time he's going to experience what you went through, isn't?"

The fourteen year old said, "I didn't tell him about it. I don't know if he is ready for it, Akari. When I was brought up to the surface from the five year hibernation, it took me a long time to adjust all the new changes around me." 

His sister sighs as Munia, Akari's stepdaughter said, "Mom! Hikari, I'm home!" 

Hikari said, greets her, "Hey, Munia! I thought you were going to hang out with Sayu today after school."

Munia said, "Sayu said that she has other plans with Kaname."

His expression turns to a wild grin at the thought of them alone together.

"Oh, I see what is going on here. It sounds like they're on a date." He said, as Munia puts her hands on her hips.

"Hikari! It's not like they're a couple already! Remember that they're just friends who want to spend time together." She protested with an angry tone.

Hikari smug at his niece's reaction as she chases him through the house as he giggles with total laughter as Akari smiles at them getting along so well.

"Be careful you two." She stated as she stares at the photograph of her , Akira, Munia, her father,  Tomoru and her husband, Itaru smiling together as a happy family.

Itaru said, "I haven't seen you smile since Munia tells you that you're pregnant with Akira. In some ways, he sort of reminds me of Hikari at his age." 

Akari nods at her husband's words as she asks, "Speaking of Akira, you don't suppose where he went after school, do you?"

Her husband shook his head, not knowing where their son would be in this time of hour.

Akira jumps into the ocean and went down as his Ena flows within him. He thought in his mind, "There is no way that I'm allowing anyone to change. Not even me.

It feels so wrong that everything will change. Could what possibly change?"

As the boy finally settles into the village, he saw the one person that he was eager to see during his visit to Shioshishio.

"Hi, Grandpa!" The boy waves at his grandfather who was stunned to see his grandson.

"Well, Akira! What a lovely surprise." He said with a smile on his face.
