Ed's POV:
"What do you mean, I'd better sit down?" I'm getting the most eery feeling. I don't like it.
"Well, sugar pie, I happened to simply be in the right place at the right time. I was about to go lecture Taylor after the Superstarr Music Awards. You know, for kissing 'ya? Anyway, in the process, I witnessed someone walking into her house. When I was able to get a closer look, I noticed it was the one and only Liz Rose!"
"Nicole!" I half-scream, half-cough. "Why on earth would you not tell me this? You're harboring information about a criminal! A criminal!"
Taylor's in grave danger, and we're running out of time to warn her. "C'mon, Nicole, we have to go. We'll speak later," I command.
"Uh, Ed," Nicole laughs nervously. "I don't know if that's gonna happen."
She stares at something (someone?) above my head. I turn around slowly.
There's Liz, with her devious smile, black wig in hand, and what seems to be pepper spray peeking out of her purse.
Oh, and a baseball bat. How wonderful.
Within moments, she has reached us. The spray enters my eyes, and I fall to the ground. Time almost has been manipulated. It's so slow, but I'm still too powerless.
"Taylor," I mutter as I begin to lose conciousness. The world is a blur.
The last thing I hear before I black out is Liz cackle.
