HAPPY BIRTHDAY JK ROWLING!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JK ROWLING!!!
AS U ALL PROBABLY KNOW, IT IS QUEEN ROWLING'S BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!! ON THIS DAY, YEARS AGO, SOMEONE WHO WOULD SOMEDAY CHANGE THE LIFE OF MILLIONS WAS BROUGHT INTO THIS WORLD! NOW, I LOVE JK ROWLING AND AM GRATEFUL TO HER BEYOND WORDS!!! SO I DEDICATE THIS CHAPTER TO HER (even though she's mention in a ton of chapters already... Shhh)!!
And in celebration of Jo's birthday, I'm posting:
JK ROWLING'S QUOTES (not HP ones though, just Jo):
"It is important to remember that we all have magic inside of us."
"It is impossible to love without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all- in which case, you fail my default."
"Wherever I am, if I've got a book with me, I have a place I can go and be happy."
"Is fat really the worst thing a human being can be? Is fat worse than vindictive, jealous, shallow, vain, boring, evil, or cruel? Not to me."
"Rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life."
"I think about the time in Hermione's life that I write about- growing from childhood into womanhood, literally, I think it brought back to me how difficult it is, so much is expected of you as you become a woman, and often you are asked to sacrifice parts of you in becoming a girl, I would say. Hermione doesn't."
"I always say that I feel like I wrote Dumbledore from the back of my head... Sometimes he said things and told Harry things that only I knew I knew or believed when I saw that I'd written them down in the voice of Dumbledore."
"I would like to be remembered as someone who did the best she could with the talent she had."
And my personal favorite J.K. Rowling quote:
"The stories we love best do live in us forever, so whether you com back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."
Wishing J.K. Rowling Happy Brithday:
"Dear Miss Rowling,
On the occasion of your birthday I trust you will be clothed in delicious pink garments surrounded by plates of purring kittens. These wishes come By order of Dolores Umbridge." -Imelda Staunton (Dolores Umbridge)
"Happy Birthday, Jo! You don't look a day over 40; everyone knows what a wonderful writer you are, and how much you did to get children to read books, and your charity work, but they perhaps don't know that in private you are very funny. Perhaps you could celebrate your half century writing a hilarious film, starring, I don't know, a large Scottish man. Have a great day, you deserve it, all my love, Robbie C. XX" -Robbie Coltrane (Rubeus Hagrid)
"So where the hell do I start? 50 years ago, a someone was born that has done what most of us dream of. She has made this little planet of ours a better, happier place and will leave a legacy that means that, that joy will continue to exponentially grow, generation by generation. I'm saying someone everyone has said and will continue to write and say. Still it needs to be said and written. Let's face it, we all want to live in her world, identify individually with the characters and the magic wielded there which seems to be like and fantastic extension of our tangible world.
She has made children turn back to loving the medium of books, feel the power of a page and fly behind the eyes of witches and wizards.
She has made me remember feeling young.
She deals with the ultimate anchor of our lives: death, and introduces it to children in a healthy, aware way that can propel them into finding a way of dealing with it.
She makes me laugh.
Thank you and I'll be having pint of butter beer (JK, please tell us the recipe!) here's to another 50 years (can't believe your 50 by the way, you look HOT!)
X" -Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks)
"I could talk about the millions of lives Jo has enriches whether through the stories she's created or through the millions of pounds she's given to charity. She's a remarkable woman. However, I would like to thank Jo for changing MY life. Without her imagination and her talent I would never have become the man I am today. That's not even to mention her generosity and loyalty when it has come to supporting everything that I have done in the years since Harry Potter. She's just a wonderful human being and I consider myself so privileged and honoured to call her a friend. Happy Birthyday, Jo." -Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom)
"To the woman whose imagination has made half the world feel less alone, afraid and in the dark; may the light you continue to shine always bounce back with interest. And at a flattering angle, naturally.
Jason x" -Jason Isaacs (Lucius Isaacs)
"Jo,
You gave me the greatest gift of all, your trust and support, when it came time to bring your world to life on the big screen.
The three films we worked on together were the most creatively fulfilling years of my cinematic life. I will always cherish the countless hours you, David Heyman, Steve Kloves and myself huddled in a room, working so intensely on each film.
Thank you for everything. May you have the most wonderful and perfect birthday celebration.
See you along the way,
Chris Columbus" -Chris Columbus (Director of first two films and produced third)
"Happy Birthday Jo!!! Thanks to your brilliantly creative mind and humour, my life has been far beyond anything I'd ever thought possible. Have an amazing day & watch out for any "Puking Pastilles." Much love.
Oliver Phelps." -Oliver Phelps (George Weasley)
Happy Birthday Jo, I hope you have a great day.
Mischief managed,
James x" -James Phelps (Fred Weasley)
And there are a bunch more that I wanted to type up, but I was about to pass out. They were all great... And long... I'm talking especially to you, Evanna Lynch (here is really sweet, you need to read it. (Katie Leung's is really sweet to.)
On Google, just type: 17 harry potter stars wish jk rowling a happy birthday
You'll see it.
Happy Birthday J.K. Rowling, OUR FREAKING QUEEN, GODDESS OF WRITING!
