Credits Of The Content: Tia (Tiaboo11)

Okay so, after I finished the Harry Potter books, I went in and watched a lot of YouTube videos on the series. Some of those videos were theory videos, and one of the theories I saw a lot was that Luna was a werewolf. 

The theory basically goes that Luna became a werewolf at a very young age. It also says that the research or potion her mother was trying to make when she died was supposed to be a potion to cure Luna of being a werewolf. 

I think this theory makes some sense. I also feel like all the werewolves in the series have names relating to the animal itself or night time and the moon. Luna's name is Luna, which I believe has something to do with night time. So, that matches up.

But I also feel that there are a lot of holes in this theory. Like, if Luna is a werewolf, why have we never seen her leaving the castle at night when there is a full moon. Harry, Ron, and Hermione have left the castle multiple times at night, and they haven't caught her leaving once. 

I know that it would've been a very big coincidence for them to have seen her, and that this is just a fan theory. I feel like the author would've given us more hints if Luna was actually a werewolf. I really am in between believing and doubting this theory. I feel like there's evidence, but there also isn't enough evidence.

I'm sure you could get a better explanation of this theory from YouTube, but this is just the main things I remember. I just wanted to see what other members thought about the idea of Luna being a werewolf.
