Fangirl Dream - Taeyoung💕
Y/N clenched her hands into fists, squinting her eyes, struggling to figure out where she was. She'd been an idiot to think that she'd be just fine in Korea all by herself. She'd never gone anywhere by herself before, what made her think that she'd be okay in a country with a language she barely knew? She shouldn't have come in the first place.
But even as she pressed her hands to her temple, trying to push back her headache, she couldn't regret coming. Tomorrow, she'd be seeing Cravity. Cravity. Her favorite group. She'd worked everyday after school and saved up as much money as she could in order to get this spot. She'd only been able to buy ten albums and was so sure she wouldn't get into the fanmeeting... but miraculously, she did.
Her parents hadn't been very happy with her. They didn't want her to go by herself to another country. To be honest... she hadn't really wanted to either. But for Cravity, she'd make exceptions. She'd make sacrifices.
She was making one now.
Her fingers still pressed against her temples, she squeezed her eyes tight, trying to dispel the dizziness. Slowly, she peeled her eyes open, but they were again bombarded with bright lights. She swayed on her feet, taking a tentative step back. And she tripped, finally crashing towards the ground. The world flipped upside down and spun around and around...
... but someone caught her.
Strong arms, steady around her waist, helping her up. She was shaking, feeling worse than before. It had been a mistake to leave the hotel this morning.
"Are you alright?"
The voice sounded vaguely familiar, but she didn't dare open her eyes yet. She hadn't even realized she'd closed them. She nodded, trying to steady herself, but her body was still shaking and she was still swaying on her feet.
"Have you eaten? Do you need help? Can I get you anything?"
No. She hadn't eaten. Not since this morning, at the hotel. She'd been too fascinated with the sights around her to take the time to stop, and too scared of using her limited Korean to talk to anyone. She felt like even more of an idiot now. The stranger clearly didn't speak English fluently, but he was making an effort, seeing that she was a foreigner. She should have made an effort too. Then maybe she wouldn't be in this situation in the first place.
"No, I haven't," she whispered, blinking her eyes open to look at the stranger's face. He didn't look like a stranger. He was wearing a mask, covering half of his face, but those eyes were familiar. She squinted, trying to figure out where she knew him from, but it only served to make her more dizzy.
"Are you lost? Where are you staying? Do you remember the name?"
"No," she whispered, shaking her head. His questions were making her head hurt even more, especially since she didn't know the answer to them. Her fingers fumbled in her purse and she pulled out the business card she'd been smart enough to take from the hotel lobby this morning. She handed it to the kind stranger.
He read the name and handed it back to her. "That's not to far from here. I'll take you."
She nodded, wanting to say thank you but feeling as though she might actually faint if she used any more of her energy. She started walking, very slowly. She kept her eyes on the ground, trying (and failing) to ignore the bright lights around her as she massaged her temples, begging them to stop causing trouble.
"Will it be better if you close your eyes?" He asked, holding out his arm to her. "Here. You can close your eyes. I'll lead the way."
She nodded again, feeling guilty for taking up so much of his time, but she needed the help and didn't know who else would offer. She closed her eyes, taking his arm and allowing herself to be lead through the winding streets. She found herself tempted to open her eyes again and again, but forced them shut. She concentrated on calming her hurricane of thoughts, settling on a question. Where had she heard his voice before? Where had she seen those eyes?
"We're here," he announced, and when she opened her eyes, sudden recognition came to her, causing her knees to buckle. He caught her again, his hands steady on her arms. "Woah. Are you alright? Do you need me to help you inside?"
"You're..." she whispered, gripping his arms too. She didn't realize how tightly she was holding onto him until his eyes fluttered to her hands, and she let go, trying to take a step back, but he kept holding onto her arms, making sure she was steady on her feet. "You... you're Taeyoung??!?!?!"
Surprise flickered across his face, and for a second he looked like he was going to deny it. Some of her certainty faded away. Maybe she'd just made another mistake.
But then his eyes brightened in a smile and she was sure that it was him.
"How'd you recognize me? Not many people do... at least not yet. Perhaps someday."
"You're my bias," she said simply.
More surprise lighted his face. "Really?"
She laughed, feeling a tiny bit better. Super hungry though. "Why so surprised?"
He shrugged. "I'm one of the members that no one knew before I debuted. Some of the others... well... having gone to Produce, they gained strong fan bases. Since I didn't, I wasn't sure if a lot of people would have me as their bias."
Y/N smiled, patting his hand encouragingly. "A lot of people love you." Her head was swimming and she didn't want to leave, not now, but she knew that if she didn't go eat something, if she didn't go to sleep, she'd be in no condition to go to their fanmeeting tomorrow. "I'm sorry," she started, feeling very sorry indeed. "But I have to go... I'll see you tomorrow though!"
He frowned, confused. "Tomorrow?"
"I'm going to your fanmeeting!" She said, unable to keep the excited squeal out of her voice.
He laughed, squeezing her hand once before letting go. "I'll see you then."

Author's note:
My first imagine for Cravity!! I hope you like it... I did it for Taeyoung because at the moment, he seems like the most underrated member (based off of twitter likes, retweets, and youtube views). I think he might be my bias....
.... I thought my bias would be Jungmo because he was one of my Produce picks. Or maybe Hyeongjun or Minhee because I am a huge OneIt. But.......
Taeyoung kinda may have stolen my heart. So here's my little appreciation story for him. I hope he can get even more love after they debut and he gets to show his skills and charms💝
