Don't Cry, My Dear - part two - Hyeongjun💕

Y/N brought the ringing phone to her ear, picking up with a giant smile.

"Hi!" she said brightly, not saying his name in case people would get suspicious.

"Y/N!" Hyeongjun said excitedly from the other end. "It's been a while, hasn't it?"

She laughed at him, shaking her head even though she knew he couldn't see her. "We talked on the phone just a couple of days ago."

"Are you free right now?"

Her heart skipped a beat. "Yeah. Why?"

"I thought maybe I'd go to see you. We could pretend it's an accident or something, make it look like we didn't plan to meet, you know? Where would you like to go? We could go to the café where we first met..." he trailed off, suddenly sounding uneasy. "Or not," he continued, starting to speak very quickly. "We don't have to go there. Actually, we shouldn't go there, if it makes you sad. Where do you want to go?" he finished, finally running out of steam.

She giggled at his nervousness. "Relax," she told him. "It's okay, we can go there. That place holds mostly good memories for me," she assured him over the phone, hoping that he couldn't hear the tinge of sadness in her voice.

"Because you met me there, right?" he said teasingly.

"Exactly!"

He laughed, the sound making her heart flutter again. She clenched her fist, reminding herself to get a grip. This was too soon for another heartbreak. And liking Hyeongjun would definitely result in heartbreak. He lived in a totally different world than her, a world that she doubted she'd ever be able to live in.

She walked into the café, surprised to find him already waiting for her. She let out a little gasp and hopped on over, pretending to be another normal fangirl.

Y/N dug into her purse, pulling out a pen and a piece of paper. "Can I get your autograph?" she asked, sliding them towards him and sitting down next to him.

He smiled kindly at her, completing the act. "Of course. What's your name?"

"Y/N," she answered, watching as he signed his name. She kept the autograph on the table in case anyone saw them, they'd think she was pestering him as a fan.

"Are you coming to the concert tomorrow?" he whispered, his eyes shinning.

"You bet!" she said excitedly. "You got me the best seats in the house; I'd be stupid not to come."

Hyeongjun laughed, "agreed."

"Shouldn't you be at practice though?"

He shrugged. "I'll just tell them school ran over. They'll never know."

"They will if someone catches us here."

He smiled at her. "It's a risk I had to take," he said dramatically, looking into her eyes. The look was so intense that she had to look away, and after a moment he looked down at the floor as well, playing with a chip of paint on the table. "Besides, I really wanted to see you."

"Me? Why?"

"Because you're my friend," he said. Y/N had to admit, she deflated a little at the word. Just a friend. But then, what was she expecting, a confession? Ha. Not when he had millions of other girls lined up at his feet, dying for a chance to be with him. "I was wondering if you'd like to hang out backstage after the concert?"

"Oh my god!" she squealed, drawing some attention to them by accident as she jumped up from her chair. Oops...

"I would absolutely love that," she whispered, sitting back down and pressing a hand to her heart, trying to calm it down. He was perfect. Sweet and generous and the nicest, cutest boy she'd ever met.

He's also totally out of your league, she reminded herself gently. She let out a small sigh.

"What's the matter?"

"Nothing," she said quickly, rearranging a smile back onto her face. "I just... have to go home and do homework. I'll see you tomorrow?"

He got up with her, waving cutely. "Bye bye!"

Y/N waved her lightstick, watching as the lights dimmed, as 'Stay' faded away and the boys bowed, exiting the stage. Beside her, fans were crying, and it would be a lie to say she wasn't as well. It had been an emotional end to the concert.

Fans started leaving, but she walked towards the entrance Hyeongjun told her to meet him at. Supposedly, no one would see her. She really, really hoped that was the case. It wasn't like she was doing anything wrong, but she got the sense that people wouldn't be too delighted about their secret friendship.

The security guard let her in, much to her surprise.

But any thoughts she had about that immediately flew out of her head when she saw him.

He was standing in a corner, his eyes closed, and he seemed to be saying something to himself. Rehearsing something? He opened his eyes, paced, then leaned back against the wall and continued talking to himself.

She approached him quietly. "Hyeongjun?"

His eyes opened, and she was surprised to see deep worry in them.

"What's wrong?" she whispered.

He took her hand, staring at the floor. "I know... I know you're still recovering after... you-know-who. So this may not be the right time to tell you this." He looked up at her, a shy smile coming to his face. "But I have to tell you before I lose my courage." He took a deep breath. "Y/N, I like you."

Her eyes widened, and she didn't hesitate to throw her arms around his neck and hug him tightly. He laughed and hugged her back.

She pulled away, staring deep into his eyes. "Hyeongjun," she whispered. "I like you too."

He laughed happily, kissing her cheek again and again. He intertwined their fingers, pulling her along.

"Come on," he said excitedly. "Let me introduce you to the rest of Cravity." They walked down a hallway and then he opened a door and...

There they were.

Hyeongjun pulled her into the room.

"Guys!" he said happily, looking only at her. "I'd like you to meet... my girlfriend!"

He glanced at her for confirmation, and she gave him a tiny nod. He swooped her into a hug that lifted her clean off the ground, and she laughed into his neck as his Cravity brothers cheered behind them.
