Chapter 4

My Grayson fans are going to like this chapter. I'm not too confident in the Stephan fan's reactions.

Regardless, I hope you enjoy!

Most of the prying eyes of the pack left me after a few songs. I felt relieved. As long as I wasn’t around Stephan, they’d cool it on the glares. Well, most of them. After a few more songs worth of dancing, there were still eyes on me. I sighed and looked over.

I regretted it. Grayson was looking right at me. He didn’t even try to hide it. I had done a great job of not looking at him since he’s been here. He’s so good looking it should be a crime. His hair was shorter than I’ve ever seen it. It looked like he had it all buzzed off and was now in the awkward phase of growing back. If he were any less good looking he would’ve looked silly, but that guy can pull anything off.

When I locked my eyes with his, I felt like I did before I was forced to leave him. I missed him. I hadn’t even noticed I stopped dancing until someone bumped into me. He smirked, then mouthed “bar” to me.

I nodded and went to meet him at the bar. I left Ashley there without an explanation. I’m sure she didn’t notice I left. She was having a good time with a fellow dancer.

I was there for maybe 10 seconds before I felt his hands on me. My skin tingled when he touched me, just like it used to.

Without a word, Grayson led me to the back rooms, away from everyone else. He found an unlocked door. We took that room. He held the door open for me. Once I was in the room, he shut the door and locked it.

He stood there, staring at me with his arms crossed over his chest. I couldn’t read his face. It was like he intentionally wiped out every emotion.

“So, why’d you bring me back here?” I asked him after a moment.

He sighed, then looked guilty. “To get you away from the vampires.”

I rolled my eyes. “And here I thought you might have a pure intention.”

“Your safety isn’t a pure intention?”

I shook my head, “I’m in the city. This is the safest place I could be. The vampires can’t hurt me. You guys just can’t seem to get that through your heads.”

“They’re vampires. You can’t trust vampires.” I could tell he wanted to yell at me. He didn’t, but he wanted to.

“Just because you don’t like them, doesn’t mean that I can’t.”

He shook his head, “Why can’t you just cooperate?”

I flattened my hand out towards him. He was pushed back into the wall, unable to move. I needed to show him what he was messing with now. He obviously needed a reminder.

I walked over to him. He was stuck to the wall, so he couldn’t grab me. “I am cooperating.”

“Let me go.” He ordered. Werewolves were control freaks and I took all of Grayson’s control away. Amber specks were appearing in the center of his irises.

“Don’t like being forced to do something?”

“You’re holding me here. It’s uncomfortable.” He said through gritted teeth.

“Well, I wouldn’t want to make you do something you don’t want to.” I said darkly.

When I let him go, he wasted no time. He put my hands behind my back, holding me there against him. He thought I could only channel my abilities through my hands. He was wrong, of course. I could use it based on sight. It wasn’t as strong, but it was good enough.

His nose nuzzled my cheek. “That’s better.” I turned my face away from him.

I rolled my eyes. “I let you go. Now return the favor.”

He chuckled, “I’m not a sucker.”

He kissed my cheek.

“Stop that.” I still refused to look at him.

He lips went from my cheek to my neck. He didn’t even have to guess. He went straight to the place that made my knees go weak. When he nipped at my neck, I gasped.

“Gray--“ I had every intention of yelling at him, pushing him away, hitting him then leaving him standing there, shocked. But he kissed me, right on the lips.

Burning desire shot right to my core, I couldn’t think anymore. No one could make me feel like Grayson could. It was as if the world dropped away and left only Grayson and me.

Almost as soon as I responded to his kiss, he let go of my hands. His hand never left my body though. They gripped right where my butt met my thighs. He lifted me up with ease so I could just wrap my legs around his waist. I wrapped my hands around his neck, pulling him closer.

When I grinded against his hips, his little friend went hard almost instantly, eliciting a groan from him.

“You better keep everyone out if you want more.” He mumbled between kisses.

“Deal.” I could barely breathe. My body was going crazy. I almost couldn’t control myself.

Grayson set me on a side table. It wasn’t used for anything but decoration. No one would care if it broke. It was against the wall and only a foot and a half wide. The decorations on it crashed to the ground. I really didn’t care what fell.

I barely noticed as he worked my panties off. All I could think about was getting his pants undone. My hands were shaking so much I was fumbling with his.

His hands traced my thighs gently, teasing me, I could barely concentrate. His thumb tipped my head up to look him in the eyes. He was on the verge of laughing. So I did what I had to do. His buttons popped off his shirt as it opened all by themselves. Then his lips crashed down on mine again.

The thing this guy could do to my hormones was insane.

His hands pulled my dress up with them as the traveled up to my butt again. He pulled me close and lifted me up again. When he sat on the couch, I could feel his hot member pressing against me. I don’t know how he managed to get his pants down and carry me to the couch, but he did.

I was straddling him on the couch. It was up to me to take it further. I couldn’t blame him for this later if I was the one to start this.

I didn’t even have to think about it.

---

Grayson was staring at me with a satisfied smile on his face. His shirt was permanently button free, so he just let the shirt hang like that. I kept glancing at his perfect body. Vampires didn’t work out to look like that. I swear he had an 8 pack, but I hadn’t counted it while I was banging him.

I could barely look at Grayson now. I thought I was so mad out him, but I had given in so easily. He’d gotten exactly what he brought me in here for.

I had to make myself presentable again. My hair had been a mess. My dress ended up being so twisted around my body. My lip gloss ended up all around my mouth.

I was finishing fixing my dress when the door flew open.

Stephan was suddenly behind me. I hadn’t even seen him move, he was just suddenly there. From the look on Grayson’s face in the reflection he hadn’t been paying attention either.

Then my mind clicked back. Stephan, my boyfriend. The guy who brought me here for my birthday. I just cheated on him with Grayson. Grayson, the guy I have been desperately trying to stay angry with for the past few years.

All I could think of was: shit.

“We’re leaving.” Stephan said deeply. He was not happy. He had his hand above my elbow; he turned me to lead me out of the room.

“Get your claws off of her.” Grayson growled at Stephan, stepping in our way.

Stephan’s cold grasp was off me. He rushed Grayson and punched him. Grayson flew to the other side of the room.

“Stay away from her mutt.” Stephan hissed at him. I’ve never seen this side of Stephan before.

Stephan dragged me to where the vampire group was. He didn’t say a word while he dragged me. I could barely keep up with his pace.

“You’re not leaving my sight.” He hissed in my ear. “Apparently I can’t trust you around that damn mutt.”

“Stephan, I’m sorry. I don’t know what came over me.” I felt like I had to beg. Stephan had been there for me. He’d cared for me. He knew all about Grayson. He knew how devastated I was when Grayson left me.

“I know exactly what came over you.” I swear I could see hurt in his eyes. I had hurt him. That broke my heart. I never wanted to hurt him. “Grayson’s ability to seduce isn’t unknown here. You just fell into his trap, right?”

It didn’t sound like a question. But I nodded. I had to. If Stephan knew that I let Grayson seduce me, Stephan would leave me, never speak to me again.

“I’m sorry Stephan.” I gently caressed his cheek.

“If you ever do that again, I won’t be held responsible for my actions.” I’d never seen Stephan so serious.

So I agreed.
