(Hope I whacked you right in the nostalgia target with the parody, I sure got whacked when I listened to that again)

So like- I decided to make a survival world cuz I haven't played minecraft in a loooong while

I started about last week, and for the first half did really good progress, kickstarted by finding and raiding an abandoned village(tho I still don't have a farm lol) but then the second half of the week I took a break for no reason

Of course, since I'm a whimp, the world is set on easy mode with cheats on so I can't earn achivements(tho the only setting I turned on for cheats was keep inventory... and I used commands occasionally-)

Also I got myself a bonus map and chest

So first, this is what the world looks like as far as I know

I got a hold of another map and used an anvil I stole to upgrade it to level 3 like my starter map

And heres the map with crappy labels and a dragon

I used the rivers to map the place out cuz I'm a whimp inland

Also I would explain I named certain places the way I named them but no one wants to listen to that so Imma show off my base

The old entrance was that birch tree to the right before I carved out the inside and added a ladder

Lol if you're wondering why theres a random bed outside, well my cousin decided to join the world for a bit to check it out and he told me he wants a bed so I got one of my many beds that I stole from the abandoned village and just built him one there cuz he thought it was a nice place

Tho when he wakes up, he spawns at the back of the tree lmao--

My fur babies, Lilac, Ketchup, Mustard, and Cream. I also had another cat named Evan, but as you can see, they sadly died without me knowing

They along with Lilac, I found and tamed near the abandonded village

Also ironically, the dye I previously used for Lilac's collar wasn't from a lilac, it was from a peony

I decided to add that back crosswalk after I first was how empty the back of my base was

And the start of the side crosswalk. It loops to the back and I'm planning to improve and fence it in the future cuz damn is it narrow

My good derpy snow golem, Freddie

Theres a bunch of snow in the nearby mountain(tho my tree is actually high enough for some snow to seattle on top of it) so I figured I'd make a snow golem anyway and shave off the head cuz why would I hide such a beautiful face-

Also I hope to soon build him his own private place so he isn't cramped

Also also fun fact, the place Freddie currently resides in was where I used to sleep

And heres my personal room on the upper level of the treehouse, even tho I have so many blue and purple beds from raiding the abandoned village, I decided to just go with my first bed

I also have 2 shulker boxes I use for traveling which I... totally didn't use commands to get-

And right between the bed and armor stand, I have a little potted lily of the valley(I got the pot from, you guessed it, the abandoned village)

And the lower level which is my workplace and kitchen

The smoker, stonecutter, and... I forgot the name of the stone wheel... I, yeah, stoll from the village. I have like several more wheels because of how many the village had like jesus frikin christ-

When my cousin visited the world, he commented how the table and chair really showed how lonely I was and... I agree

Also I didn't screenshot it but around the base of my treehouse, my ladder is actually 1 block of the ground because I'm paranoid but around that are some flowers I got from my travels as well as berry bushes which I got from the Taiga south-west of my base(check the map again if you need reference)

Yeah I learned the hard way that full grown bushes, with or without berries, are apparently thorned and hurt you if you stand in them for too long. They also act like diet cobwebs and slightly slow you down

I should probably make a seperate area for them in my future farm...

Speaking of which

This is the land in front of my base, which I heavily terraformed so the surface is covered is grass

That mound to the left is a leftover but I decided not to mine it all the way so I can make an artificial waterfall and pond(so I won't have to go down to the river so much just for some water) and maybe also hollow it out for a storage space

And a recent idea I had is to modify that mound further back so I can hollow it out too place a skylight made of glass over it to... idk yet, more farm space? Freddie's new home? Idk yet, we'll see

And of course I'm planning to wall off or fence the area so mobs won't get in and make me scream for my life cuz I'm a whimp

I like to use the sun as my compass since I used the only one I had on the other map lmao-

I wanna close this off with my plans

First I wanna complete the terraforming and wall so I can finally start a farm and roam my front yard freely without fear of monsters at night

I have a few sets of seeds I either got from the wild, abandoned village, or bonus chest, including 1 set of cocoa beans. So sometime in the future, I may go search for a jungle so I can get the bark to plant my seeds

So remember the map? There was a coastal village I visited and I really regret not picking up some of the crops there to plant at my own home. There was also a dungeon at the village with two loot chests but I forgot to raid them before leaving. So a part of my future plans is to fix the broken Nether Portals I know of so I can fast travel between the locations and trade with the local villagers without having to kidnap them. I mean, after all I have acess to lava and water so I'm thinking of using that one method where you create obsidian on the spot using lava and water. Tho I do have 8 blocks of obsidian from the abandoned village that I may use
