I wanna do a quick 'analysis' of sorts, since during my second viewing I slowed down the video was too many times

But Imma only focus on when the trainers show up until... idk whenever I wanna stop or when I reach the max pic limit cuz nostalgia

Also please note, I don't really have much knowledge on the stories and characters of other games(I also haven't been up to date with my pokemon news), since back then I invested much of my time stanning on Gen 5(cuz it needs more love), so if I get certain things wrong, like character names, or seem to only recognize characters from Gen 5, now you know why and I am sorry-

Anyway lets go!(and yes, I screenshot all of these in full res

Of course we start with the water type trainers(btw all of these don't include the new Galar trainers)

I like how theres always something going in the screen based on type for the first few sequences, so for this, the female character is steping on some puddles on the ground

Then our electric type trainers

They all look so happy as the poor Eevee gets electrocuted

What the fuck has it done to you to deserve this??-

Appropriately enough, our female character manages to gracefully evade the lighting strike

Just as the Eevee got electrocuted, they're now frozen by Froslass

Well thankfully the Eevee is freed by getting flamethrowered by Infernape. Do you think they got a few burns?

Of course the fire type trainers just look on happily cuz jesus fuck these guys are aggressive, do you know how hard it was to beat Flannery??! Well I guess its partly my fault for having a grass type as my ace, bUT I STILL HAD A WELL TRAINED WATER TYPE TO BALANCE MY TEAM AND IT STILL TOOK ME FOREVER AND MOST OF MY POKEDOLLARS--

The rock type trainers look on indifferently as a boulder chases down our hero

And yes it pains me to see them this indifferent

I like how grass, plus some clovers and flowers grow in the foreground as light also shines down for the grass types- Ah fuck stop crying its too eARLY FOR THIS--

Also I am so sorry there was not one frame where all of them were visible, so I had to sacrifice one

And the poison types trainers just appear for a bit

I like how Roxie just looks utterly confused or irritated while Koga and Janine are just having fun

The sun and moon rises on the Psychics.. who are just... standing there... menacingly-

Okay but Tate and Liza are being adorable in the background while some of the others watch on(tho I think they're looking at Solrock)-

And the ghost trainers literally pop up to scare us but they're so adorable--

When I slowed the vid down I realized they're the few dark type trainers plus their pokemon

Also I like how they appear during the ghost type's appearance

The bug type trainers watch a Butterfree pass by

Also I'm sorry if the butterfree is blocking Bugsy but like in everyone frame Butterfree moves its always blocking one of them, so I had to make another sacrifice

No, its not exactly my favorite or main type, but I respect the dragon type trainers cuz they're all badasses(even tho they're all... asleep currently.... still so badass-)

Also if you're wondering where Iris is, don't worry she does appears... somewhat

And a large metal thing lands square on the male trainer's face for steel

For once its not the pokemon..

Also Jasmine does look surprise in the next frame or 2 when the boy recoils from the hit in the face

Also I like how Skyla's the only one being all happy why the rest look so nonchalant

And that was all the trainers per type

The next sequence is just so nostalgic

It shows either the female or male trainer surrounded by blank buildings of various cities as the camera pan around while the shadows of various legendaries, mythicals, and ultra beasts flick around the walls and floor, before the camera stops, the shadows of the legendaries stop appearing and are replaced by the shadows of the villains

FUCK DON'T CRY YOU'RE STILL IN A THE MIDDLE OF SOMETHING SHIT--

Moving on, the next scene is the male trainer(occasionally flickering as the female) kneeling to an Eevee as the silhouettes of the trainers from each game pass by on the pyramid behind

I wonder if thats the Eevee of the female trainer

Then the next sequence is my favorite, the Champions of each region being cool with their pokemon and alot of bright ass colors

I was kinda confused when I first watched it not seeing the Unova Champions Alder and Iris, but upon second viewing..

They don't even show their faces-

I'm disappointed

Also I've reached the max pic limit, so imma skim on what happens next

The sequence right after the Champions are the trainers of each of the games plus the other characters while lightly skimming through the plots of each game. Imo, it was the Gen 5 clips that were the 'deepest' considering the plots of the games, but we also get more nostalgia inducing moments, like Blue with his pokemon getting ready to fight Red

Right after we see the female trainer and male trainer in the rain, the shadows of Kyogre and Groudon behind each respective trainer.

Then right after that, finally, the sequence with the galar trainers and BOI THOSE COLOR PALLETES-

After that we see the 2 trainers meet up in front of a screen, this time,the Pikachu with the girl and the Eevee with the boy. Their respective pokemon return to them as the screen shows the professors of each region plus the starters and the two walk on a road with 3 billboards flanking each side, and we see 2 more sets of characters

The ones on the right, pls tell me cuz I have no clue, but on the left... well if you knew me during late 2018/early 2019, you know I stanned them(still kinda do).

So yeah, theres my recap, idk why I recapped it when I have the vid up there, but idk, I'm stupid like that

I really love the animation, its just- omg yes
The color palettes that they also used are amazing

Idk who these trainers are, but I think at some point their pokemon switched since, as I said before, the Eevee was with the boy and vise versa for the girl by the end, and we see them switching back
