Rant?

I'm not really an angry person so i'm unsure if I should really call this a 'rant'

Please read slowly and carefully.

I'd just like to adress this.

Firstly this user (keeping them private for safety) has had a baby bearded dragon, it died. Which can be unfortunate. Baby beardies are very fragile, they claim it to be because of their younger sibling killing it by accident.

At this point I was sympathetic for the user.

Now they get a new baby beardie called 'bear'. a few pics of him/her:

Cute right?

At this point (if your a beardie owner) you'd surely be hella lot more wary about how fragile hatchlings are and surely seeming as their sibling killed the poor and unfortunate previos one you'd make sure they couldn't touch the lizard, right?

Well I happened to see this one morning!

"Oop"

Thats it, no regret, no im so sorry, i miss him! Just "oop".

Not a care.

Aparently, after being asked, bears leg was broken by their little sibling and died due to an infection.

I'm upset but more importantly im dissapointed. A broken leg can be treated- so why did he die? A broken leg is not a death sentance!

What im trying to say is that bear didn't need to die and most certainly didn't deserve to either.

If he was taken to the vet he could still be alive.

My message:
If your getting a reptile, or any pet for that manner! Do your research, and think real long and hard if its the right pet for you. Will you feed it, clean it, care for it, provide it with whatever it needs, whenever?

If you want to get an animal only to play with it- get a toy, a teddy. Something that will not suffer because of you being reckless or bored with it.

I have to say- thank you for all those out there who are good pet owners, who love their pets and will do anything for them.

People like above make me sick!

Thank you for reading- sorry you have to see this.

my sandy-boo and me wish you a lovely day:
