Chapter Six 18+

Tee tossed and turned in bed while Kai's name slipped from his quivering lips over and over, and over again...

The creature's deep growl echoed within the darkened room. The vibrations were bouncing off the walls. With its back turned, Tee wasn't sure WHAT the creature was, but he was sure it was the vilest of all as it hovered over his grandma while she lay in bed, lifeless and ruined in blood.

"What are you doing?!" He yelled in a quivering tone, hoping to distract the creature — to keep it away from his grandma.

Immediately, the creature's body stiffened and it stopped what it was doing before slowly turning to look at the shivering omega. Tee gasped at the familiar sight, his eyes doubling and his limbs wobbled as he took a step back, and another, and another.

For a moment, time seemed to stop and his head went numb.

He couldn't — or he refused —- to acknowledge what he was seeing.

"K —... Kai?" The name of his alpha, the dearest of them all, Tee's light and love; slipped from his lips. He couldn't believe it. There his alpha stood; eyes a soulless black, and face covered in blood — in Tee's grandma's blood, looking at Tee with an emotionless stare. "How could you?..." He pointed an accusing finger at his alpha as Kai stood, staring, seemingly without a mind of his own. "How could you kill Grandma Kai?... You... You are a monster..."

Tee shook his head from side to side. He couldn't fantom the idea of his alpha harming — feasting — killing his grandma. Didn't Kai say he loved him? Didn't Kai say he would protect him? Keep him safe from harm? It was all lies. HIS ALPHA HAD LIED TO HIM.

"You lied to me!" the words left Tee's mouth in a gasping whisper while his heart hammered in his chest. And yet, his alpha continued standing there like a statue. "Why —"

A piercing pain stabbed through Tee's stomach, and he doubled over; his mouth went wide in shock as he dropped to the cold floor. "Kai?" What was happening? When he looked at his alpha, the images of Kai were fading. "What is happening?" The room was fading too, disappearing from Tee's reach. "Kai —"

When another scorching pain coiled in his stomach, Tee squeezed his eyes shut and screamed an agonizing wail...

Deep in sleep, his fingers clasped the sheets, feeling through the covers for his alpha. Kai wasn't there though; Tee should've known this. Tonight, the wolf had gone out combing the forest for something — or someone to sink his teeth into.

You see, once a week Kai went out at night in search of fresh meat to keep himself satisfied. And despite Tee disliking the scent of death his alpha brought back with him, he learned to accept it. After all, Kai was a predator wolf who craved meat... Blood, too.

A part of Tee feared — a deep-rooted fear he kept hidden — if he didn't allow his alpha to eat fresh meat and drink fresh blood, Kai might one day eat him instead.

When Tee's face scrunched in a frightening tightness, he finally heaved awake with eyes wide open as goosebumps danced across his body.

Caked in sweat, he frantically searched the room for Kai until realization hit him. It was all a dream — a fragment of his imagination. Yet, it felt so... Real. Before Tee could allow his thoughts to wander further, another harrowing pain shot through his spine, crumbling up in his stomach until he whined, and pushed his face into the covers to stifle out his cries.

Tee had gone through his fair share of harsh heat-cycle throughout his life to know the symptoms — to know it came in waves and hurt in the cruelest ways. The symptoms were like a heavy weight crushing down his back, and a biting snake coiling inside his stomach, knocking him breathless through each passing wink. He hated everything about it.

"Ka... Kai," he called out in a desperate plea, hoping his alpha might hear his voice from within the woods. "Kai!" he called again, his fingers gripping his stomach in a painful squeeze. "KAI?!"

The seconds ticked on, and they were the longest seconds of Tee's life while he stayed, wheezing like a drowning man into the covers. Kai was nowhere nearby and he didn't know how long he would have to wait. If only his grandmother was alive, she'd brew herbs to ease the ache.

Tee whined before he curled in on himself, crying bitter tears into the sheets. He missed his grandmother, and he needed Kai, and he so badly wanted the pain to leave him alone!

Sometimes Tee despised being born an omega. They were always viewed as lesser. Always in distress. Always the emotional ones. Weak — pathetic by pompous alphas who viewed omegas as objects centered around their desire. Luckily Kai wasn't like that. Kai was understandable. Kai valued him. Prided in him for being strong. Kai often stared at him as if he were some God when he thought Tee wasn't looking. Kai thought of him as brave, too.

Kai...

Tee had spent a heat once with the wolf before. It was their first time and strangely enough, Kai had been gentle. The wolf had pleasured him in all the right places. Made him shudder, and whine — bending his thoughts into nothingness. The heat lasted the longest, too. A week, if Tee could remember correctly.

Back then Kai had been so happy; glowing with glee for weeks afterward. He stuffed Tee full of wild berries and fish he caught by the river. He believed Tee would soon become plump with their child. But when it didn't happen, Kai turned foreboding; acting out bizarrely — almost like a crazed, feral alpha when he was alone. It wasn't long after before he started counting down the days to Tee's next heat, too. Such abnormal behavior he had displayed.

To this day Tee couldn't fantom why his alpha was so desperate for him to bear their child in such a short time-frame of them knowing each other. Didn't Kai know they had all the time — or a good couple of years ahead of them? Didn't he know having a child —

"Tee?!" Kai's worrisome voice hollered from outside before the room door was slammed open, the hinges flying off the door, and in raced the wolf. "Tee — baby... I'm here. I'm here."

"Kai... Alpha," Tee whined in relief when he felt icy fingers on his shoulders, turning him over to face his alpha. Kai looked disheveled, and a passing thought in Tee's brain prided in the amount of kill Kai must've made for the night. "I —" Tee cried out, sobbing through the ache. "It's my heat — it's early."

Kai's eyes were wild with concern before he searched Tee's face. "It's alright baby," he whispered in the softest of voices, cupping the omega's face. "Does it hurt?"

For a passing second, when a wicked glint popped up in his eyes, Tee thought he resembled those monsters in fairytales parents warned their children about.

"It hurts," Tee nodded. "It hurts really bad Kai."

"Alright," Kai breathed out, shrugging off the sweat-soaked clothes from his omega's body. "I'll make the pain stop, okay? I'll take care of you, alright?"

Tee roamed over Kai' knitted eyebrows and sprawled his legs open for his alpha. "I hate this feeling... Just hurry up," he pleaded through the tears staining his face.

Kai breathed out deeply and stared into Tee's eyes with so much understanding — so much... mischief. Still, he was a good alpha, Tee reminded himself. No matter the messed-up dream he had, Kai was a good alpha. Kai wouldn't harm his Grandma...

At this point, if he had to be separated from Kai, he might as well die.

With Tee completely naked, sweaty, and whining, Kai shrugged off his clothes before straddling him and gently thumbing away the tears from the corners of Tee's eyes. "Breathe baby," he whispered, resting his forehead against Tee's own. "Breathe slowly for me."

Inhaling and exhaling, Tee breathed until his quickened heart finally came to ease as he stared into Kai's eyes. And what kind, gorgeous eyes they were.

"That's it... Just keep your eyes on me," the wolf smiled with terrifying, pointy canines. And although his alpha might've been a predator, Tee wasn't afraid. Kai loved him. He never sought to harm Tee and he never would.

When Kai bent down, pressing his wet lips against Tee's long-neglected soft, tear-soaked ones, kissing him with all tongue and spit like a ravenous beast, Tee moaned loudly, thrusting his achingly hardened cock against his alpha's equally hardened one.

Kai tasted like absolute bliss. Like honey and iron. It must've been the blood of the people he went out to kill. It didn't matter. Kai was a saint — murderous by nature — but a saint nonetheless. Tee lapped up the insides of his alpha's mouth like a starving man. Kai was... Perfect.

Carefully Kai threaded his long fingers through Tee's tussled hair — his ears — twisting and tugging the fluffy ears until they colored pink. And when a moan, a long dragged-out thing left Kai's mouth, Tee whined into the kiss. "Kai, baby... Just fuck me already," he gritted out, sinking his nails into his alpha's back, clawing him red. "Please."

"You're so beautiful when you're needy," Kai chuckled lightly, licking down Tee's Adam's apple while Tee wrapped his legs around him. "So hungry for cock... Slutty bunny..."

"Kaiii..." Tee shuddered from feeling the drag of the wolf's canines digging into his throat until Kai reached his mating mark, teasing it with his teeth.

"Maybe I should just keep you begging," Kai rasped out, suckling on Tee's nipple next.

"Everything hurts," Tee whimpered while more tears spilled. "Everything burns alpha."

"Alright baby — alright. I'll give you what you need." The wolf finally relented and teased his erection against his omega's sloppy entrance. "So wet for me... So tight, " he shuddered a groaned as he pushed inside in one quick move. "Tee," he gasped at the unexpected tightness.

Immediately the omega's mouth went slack in a silent cry while his eyes fluttered close. It seemed every time his wolf forced his cock into him, his insides bubbled from the thrill of being ripped apart. And when Kai started rocking back and forth with passion; one hand fisted into Tee's hair while the other wrapped around Tee's neck, barely stilling the air from his lungs, the omega went absent-minded, moaning wantonly through each sweet drag of his alpha's cock.

"So good..." Tee choked out with gratefulness, tightening his legs around Kai's waist to keep him trapped. "So good to me alpha."

With each thrust of his alpha's thick cock, the painful fire burned less inside Tee.

Soon the wolf's eyes turned black — a bottomless pit of darkness that Tee learned to love — while he eyed Tee's face with a cunning half-smile. The next thing Tee knew, his alpha's tongue was inside his mouth, swallowing him up in a dirty, messy kiss before his thrusts turned punishing. Deliciously punishingly. He moaned and gripped his alpha by his upper arms to steady himself from being pushed against the bedboard.

Kai pulled away from the kiss and removed his hand from Tee's throat to tug at his ears, twisting the omega's neck on display. "I'm going to fuck a baby into you," he groaned deadly deep. "Turn you fat and round with my child. Don't you want that?"

"Yes," Tee blabbered unthinkingly, moaning long and noisily at the feel of the bulging knot forcing its way inside of him. He craved it so, so bad. "Yes please."

In a splitting second Kai fumbled to sit upright, pulling Tee along to straddle him.

Tee closed his eyes, hissing at the change of position — at the sweet drag of Kai's cock as he fucked fast himself up and down on his alpha's cock, desperately craving his knot.

"You're going to be the death of me," Kai grunted after burying his face in the crock of Tee's neck, inhaling his scent. "So tight... You don't know what you're doing to me..." The wolf rambled on deliriously as he nudged his hips slightly up to impale his cock deeper into his omega's dripping hole.

Satisfied at how he'd reduced his alpha to a hysterical mess, a creeping smile appeared on Tee's face before he allowed his fingers to roam over Kai' chest, on his shoulders — at the back of his neck, touching every inch of the wolf's warmed skin.

"You're so good to me," Tee moaned out with his eyes closed in a voice that barely carried any strength the closer he felt Tee's knot tugging at his entrance. "So good to me."

"God Tee," Kai's eyes fluttered close after he lapped his tongue alongside his omega's scent gland. "I love you — you know that?" Pressing his lips to Kai's hair, Tee nodded. "I'm glad I got rid of her for us baby," Kai declared. He sounded lost — disoriented the faster Tee bounced on his cock. "Now I have you all to myself. All mine. I'm going to knot you, baby."

The second those words spilled from Kai's mouth, his knot popped inside the omega and Tee cried out Kai's name while his body shuddered in waves, and his toes curled at the rush of heat pooling on his inside. His own cock twitched, too, dribbling hot come between their bodies, leaving him panting — gasping like he'd been lacking air.

When Kai's big palms lazily roamed up his back, grabbing him by the shoulders to push him deeper into the knot, Tee whined and slumped over.

Kai removed his face from Tee's neck, finally looking him in the eyes. "Tee?" he said, seemingly still in a daze. "I'm going to move so you can be more comfortable, okay?"

Tee's lips pursed as he stared at Kai suspiciously before slowly nodding in agreement.

As Kai lay them both sideways on the bed, Tee tried to remember what the wolf had spoken moments ago. His mind wasn't his own though. And with Kai's warm chest pressing against his back. Or his warm lips planting kisses at the back of Tee's neck seemed to be a great distraction to the omega's aching, craving body.

When Tee opened his mouth; readying to question Kai himself — or to yell at him if he must, he decided against it. Because... What if he hadn't listened right? What if his jumbled thoughts were playing tricks on him, trying to sway his thoughts from his loving, kindhearted alpha? What if it simply wasn't important? Kai was a killer — Tee knew this.

"Tee?" Kai whispered into his ear from behind. "Why are you so tense?"

Tee didn't notice he had stiffened in his alpha's arms. "I... It's nothing... I'm tired," he lied.

"Get some sleep then," Kai voiced. "When my knot goes down, I'll clean you up and get you something to eat before your heat starts up again, okay?"

Something seemed wrong.

Tee stared straight ahead, out the window where the nighttime icy breeze swept in before swallowing thickly. His throat had gone dry, and his heart had suddenly picked up speed, drumming maddeningly against his chest. He just couldn't figure out what was wrong though.

"Tee?"

"I'm glad I got rid of her."

A shuddering breath left Tee's mouth after Kai' haunting words suddenly flooded his thoughts.

"Now I have you all to myself."

"Tee?"

Tee closed his eyes, pretending to be asleep when the bed dipped before the brush of Kai's hot breath grazed near his face. And when Kai pecked him on the forehead; against Tee's better judgment, the alpha's lips smoothed his insides with warmth.

Nonetheless, Tee plundered through his thoughts, trying to get a clear idea of what his alpha was whispering about earlier. Who was this her Kai spoke of? Why was he glad he got rid of her? Why — Tee jolted lightly the moment he felt a smile on Kai's lips when the wolf kissed him lovingly on the cheek this time.

"I love you," Kai whispered in his ear before returning to where he'd been.

Tee swallowed the thick lump in his throat seconds after a tear slipped from his eye.

It seemed deep down, he believed he might've wronged Kai. He had judged Kai and thought poorly of him because his alpha was a predator. What type of nasty person would judge others?

Suddenly when Kai wrapped his arms nicely over Tee from behind in a tight hug once more, Tee felt terrible for thinking this way — he felt like a horrible person.

Perhaps he was a horrible person?...

"I love you too," he whispered against his better judgment, hoping his voice would reach his alpha's ear.

When Kai snuggled him impossibly closer, Tee forced himself to accept he had simply heard wrong. Kai never said those things. In fact, the alpha never said anything... Everything Tee thought he had heard was lies he conjured up from his nightmare — it was all in his mind. Fragments of his imagination. And considering everything Kai had done, Tee should've known better than to think his alpha was evil.

Kai was good to him...

A good alpha.

An hour later, Kai fell asleep.

For Tee, however, sleep refused to come.
