I paced around my room, bitting my nails. How can I see her? I can't sneak out, Collin would catch me and punish me. I can't walk up to them say, ''Hey, Collin, Can you book me a flight to Utah? I want to see my friend.". What can I do? I'll try to ask Mrs.Higginbothom. That's what I'll do!

As I made my way downstairs, I over heard Collin on the phone. "Is the job done?" He asked. His eyes flickered to me. "Let me put you on hold, My slave is out of her room." He said. He clicked a button, which sounded a beep. He then set the phone down on the counter and began to walk over to me.

"Why are you out of your room?" He asked harshly. "Speak!" I didn't know how to answer. Should I tell him the truth? "May I see Miss. Higginbothom?" I asked. "May you see Mrs. Higginbothom," He repeated. "What you have to say to her, you can say to me." I shifted my weight uncomfortably. "I would like to, um, see my friend in Utah." I really didn't know how this would turn out. His face became a tomato red. I'm screwed.

His mouth opened and closed.

By now, I was shaking with fear. His hand flew across my face. It wasn't like the other times when he slapped me, this time he added all of his strength. I drew my hand to my cheek. A stinging sensation spread through the side of my face. Miss. Higginbothom came into view. "What on Earth is going on in here?" "Our slave want to travel to Utah so that she can visit a friend." Collin replied. Mrs. Higginbothom gave me a look of confusion. "Why?" she asked. "I had a dream." I said. She urged me to continue. My eyes flickered to Collin. His arms were crossed and he carried a scowl upon his face. Mrs. Higginbothom's mouth formed and 'O' shape. Thank goodness she understood.

She took me to the garden. The place were Ashlyn tried to claw my face off. "What was your dream about?" She asked. "I was in Utah. My friend Alex was in her driveway. I walked up to her and she turned into a vampire. Then I began to run but she caught me. She pushed me onto the ground and was about to bite but was killed by a weird stake." I replied. I drew in a ragged breath. "What did the stake look like?" "It had symbols on it and had a carving talking about life, death, and making sure that 'these animals were extinct or something." Mrs. Higginbothom's eyes widened in disbelief. "We'll fly into Utah tonight." she stated. A lump formed in my throat. It took some effort to swallow, but I succeeded. I was worried for Alex. It had to be serious, why else would Mrs. Higginbothom take me there?

Sorry for not posting lately. My computer is broken. :p. I wrote this on my iPhone, so it might have some errors. I apologize for being a late poster. I was busy.
