EVERYONE WAS witness to the death of a popular student in school. Well, almost everyone that attended the University Night this year.

I could still remember what happened that night. Students were singing and dancing like there's no tomorrow. Music was blasting through the speakers. Neon disco lights went wild. Then, right in the middle of the party, a shriek rang in the Grand Hall.

The music stopped. The rotating lights stopped. Everyone stopped. When they switched on the lights, screams filled the air. A boy, dressed in a pure white coat with a striped tie, collapsed on the floor. Moments later, he died.

I never knew the victim personally, but he's a kinda big shot in the university. It's impossible to not know him because his face was all over the campus' giant LCD screen and the tarpaulins hanging on the iron gates. He's an achiever—an overachiever, some would say—and he's brought national and international awards to the university.

Deaths are unusual in Clark University, so his passing was seen as such. What makes his death more unusual were the circumstances before his death.

Yes, a freaking kiss! Who would have thought that a romantic gesture would have cost him his life? Kung alam niya na isang halik ang makapapatay sa kanya, mas gugustuhin na niya sigurong ipatanggal ang mga labi at dila niya.
