The Day After Yesterday

Have you ever felt angry? Perhaps at times you, yourself, can't even describe why? Or, perhaps, you were designed to eliminate someone in specific, and you will stop at nothing until you succeed. For Mewtwo, regardless of how ironic the whole thing was, wanted nothing more than to capture and eliminate Mew, the exact thing his creators had in mind for him. He opted that they were somehow right about that creature, but not about anything else.

Not only did he have that same, burning anger and hatred we all can't describe... but he also had a somewhat interesting and different goal... to destroy all humans. It was all such sort notice for the Legendary, them just getting a reading of the strong life force. Although, the Legendary didn't do too much to help or form any sort of resistance. They were pokemon, Mewtwo respected pokemon, therefore nothing to worry about, right? Although some Legendary knew of his deeper and darker intentions... they to didn't care as much as they should've, them deciding to keep their mouths shut at meetings or council boards.

Except, of course, one pokemon. Quite playful, energetic, not one for much seriousness. Although, she has proven many times to be serious and quite strong, even going as far as to challenge other Legendary to fights and what not. Though they mostly always ended up in some sort of play date or silly time, but that's the way Mew liked it.

"Hey, Great Uncle Mew..." Mew walked into the darkness of a mysterious but familiar cavern.

A voice that sounded far away responded, echoing through the dark cavern. "Come right in!" The voice, old and raspy, but somewhat warm and comforting yelled back.

Mew giggled and continued a short distance until she entered a small, rectangular door. She entered and greeted the older, wiser pokemon, floating swiftly beside him.

The older pokemon looked down to Mew, his eyes fixing on her appearance. "Wowie! You're getting big!" He adjusted his glasses, black and clear in color, and grinned.

Mew laughed a bit. "You think so... Really," The older Mew nodded and led Mew to the table. "What all have you been up to lately... Been on that interweb thing?"

Mew chuckled. "Uncle, It's called the Pokenet!" Mew laughed and her uncle chuckled. "Well, I've been at the Legendary Realm lately... you wouldn't believe all the people there! You should go with me, tomorrow maybe!" Mew offered, her tail swishing back and forth.

"Meet anyone interesting..." The older Mew, his guilty eyes shining through his lenses.

"Yes, actually! Lots!" Mew smiled. "I can't wait to go back... oh, and I met this human! Her name was... err... I forgot, but she was so nice!" The older Mew's face grew of one with interest.

"Oh," He paused. "A human... neat." He smiled, but deep down he was a bit worried. Recently, Uncle Mew knew, Legendary were shifting further and further away from Human activity in general.

"Hehe, yeah!" She stopped and stretched a bit, then sighed softly. "I'm going to go out for a bit... see you later Uncle! Nice seeing you!" The older Mew nodded and formed a newspaper in his hands. "Alright... thanks for stopping by!" He smiled to her and looked down to his newspaper, Mew levitating out quickly, jittery and happy as always.

It was around a few hours later, Mew was simply sitting underneath a small and secluded tree, eating berries and relaxing. It were days like these that satisfied her most... even more than the parties, games. She sat... invisible to any wanderers that happened to pass, just simply enjoying nature.

"I'd say... half day." Mew looked up to the sun, measured the time, and took off back to the realm. Although she loved these moments, she always liked to be on the run.

"I should arrive... three quarters!" She again looker toward the sun, then nodded to herself. She took her time in getting back to the Legendary Realm, for the celebration didn't begin until sundown. In the past few months of actually visiting the place, she's already decided to bunk and stay mainly around there. The Realm needed lots of work done to it, and it was all because of free will that kept it so nice. Many of the Legendary, we can take Darkrai for example, wanting nothing to do with the Realm and the Legendary, and stayed by himself all day and night, secluded from mostly everything.

All Legendary were allowed in the Realm, no matter what. The Realm was a gift from Arceus to all the Legendary, and it's praised that it kept its natural beauty after all the years.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Already he had hid himself from outsiders, devised a plan to exterminate humans, and better yet, figured out the full extents of his powers. He had just prior escaped captivity, and already he felt the full extents of freedom and free will.

"Tick...Tock...Tick...Tock," The clock was the main sound that blared throughout the room. "Perhaps I'm wrong... Perhaps this creature doesn't need to suffer?" He had been thinking constantly of what he were to do if he actually met this 'Mew'. Surely Mew would instantly attack him and hunt him down, like the humans had envisioned she would do, so he just was simply going to counter and destroy her, once and for good. But now, as time passed by and no Mew that tracked him down and tried to end him, it seemed... Weird almost. He levitated slowly outside his little shelter, hidden by the clouds and the shadows formed by the sun, and listened to his mental clock, waiting just before sundown. He watched the humans, running around frantically from building to building, driving, biking, and walking around. He was disgusted... Such an inferior race, he thought. "The world would be better without them running around." He noted all this in his brain, dreaming of the day he would finally put them in their rightful places, the ground.

Just as he was about to head back to his cave, a place he thought was both secluded from humans and perfect for his experiments, he saw something... someone, to be more specific.

"It's just my lucky day..." He silently watched the small, pink creature float around, cheerfully and slowly. He opted whether or not to actually do something, I mean, this was the chance of a lifetime. "I could've sensed that from a mile away..." His eyes glowed and the pink, invisible creature was identified to him. "Yes! It is... A her?" This fact alone sort of changed what he was thinking. He has just always assumed that Mew was a male... How could she be a female.  He silently followed pursuit, his eyes still glowing in order to see the invisible creature.

He silently flew a foott behind her, and Mew instantly stopped. Mew quickly turned around, only to find nothing. She could've sworn she sensed energy... and she knew that something was near.

Mew kept quiet, her form still invisible as she looked every direction. She couldn't sense anything, and she began to grow a bit worried. She was about to continue on, but then, it was too late. Mew sharply looked up, and was to late to avoid a hard, sharp elbow. She was sent flying down, her body becoming visible again in mid-fall. She hit the ground with a loud "Thud" and just simply laid there.

"Haha! It is I, your worst nightmare! Prepare to battle me Mew!" The same creature as before slowly levitated down from the sky, the sun sort of shadowing his face and body.

Mew turned over and looked up, not recognizing at all this mysterious pokemon.

"Ah... What was that for?!" She could feel her energy re-gathering, and she levitated back up softly, dusting her fur off as she moved throughout the air.

"You don't know me yet, do you? No bother... you won't need to!" He flew at Mew again, and Mew barely managed a protect to guard herself.

Mewtwo connected with the shield, both of them recoiling a few steps back. Mew let the shield down, her eyes growing wide at all the shocking similarities and quite ironically differences he shared with her.  He was bigger than her, way bigger than her she told herself. She was possibly less than half his height. Although, that was most Legendary to her. Palkia, Dialga, they seemed almost mighty to her.

His energy was crazy, off the charts practically! She could see his fur, his skin tone, everything about this seemed so weird to her. His eyes, his ears, his form, his shape. Curiously she extended her paw out to him, running over his arm and shoulder blade.

The creature stood and hesitantly watched her. "What are you doing!" He shooed her paw away and stared intently at her.

Mew titled her head up and looked at him. "Who are you? Why are you so... Me?" Her face showed innocence, a thing Mewtwo despised already in the small pokemon.

"You have no right to ask questions!" Mewtwo angrily stared down at her, and she stared back, a bit frightened.

"I was just curious!" She said defensively. Slowly, she rolled her tail around her and twirled and flipped throughout the ait, her focus away from the creature. It was as if her focus just turned away from he quite intense battle in front of her, just simply relaxed and happy.

The creature stepped up and cleared the distance between them. "My name is Mewtwo... Now prepare to be eleminated, Mew!" His eyes glowed, and Mew was forcefully pulled out of her act.

"Ah! But wait, can't we talk it out... Or play a game instead? Why do you want to fight me so bad?" Mewtwo hissed and threw a sphere at Mew, the Psychic being released and allowing Mew to avoid the attack. Although, Mewtwo followed it up with another sphere, this time making contact and sending her flying back. Mewtwo slowly, teasingly made his way to her, stopping right over her.

"I was made to destroy you! End you! You see, I am a counter-part, I guess you could say. You're weak, I'm powerful! You understand... everything you lack, I have! You or anyone else can not stand in my way!" Mewtwo finished, proudly grinning at the careless creature. Mew only groaned a little from the aftermath of the attack, blinking curiously at the male clone.

"But... I won't get in your way. You see, perhaps you'd like to come by the Legendary Realm and meet everyone some time. Why do you want to end me so bad?" Mewtwo was actually a bit taken off guard by this. 'What now did he have against her... Yeah, that's right, absolutely nothing.' He thought to himself, then groaned irritably.

"I would've liked a challenge... but oh well!" He reached down and reached for Mew quite quickly and suddenly, the surprise actually leaving her vulnerable to the attack. She found herself stuck, wiggling around but not being able to escape. He had , in a perfect position. But... He was lost. "Listen to this... get in my way, and you're!" He used a weak cut attack with his other hand and slowly slid it across her throat, deep enough to show the cut line and draw only a small amount of blood. Mew was actually  bit hutt by that, perhaps for a bit seeing a glimpse of reality and being a bit scared.

Mewtwo drew the blade away from Mew's throat and dropped her, Mew letting her body hit the ground as she looked back up at Mewtwo curiously.

"Understand..." Mewtwo tried to sound intimidating, but this all was starting to become embarrassing even. Trying to argue and evem battle with Mew was like being a bully and picking on a helpless child, and it all sort of felt wrong and awkward. Mew trailed her hand around the cut mark he had inflicted and slowly tilted her head. "Are... You still planning on coming over? Why have you hurt me?" Mewtwo actually growled, the annoyance of the dense creature in front of him taking its toll on him.

"We will meet again Mew... And next time, I won't be so nice!" He felt like turning back and full-filling the task of why he even encountered her, but he knew the right thing to do wad leave, so that's exactly what he did.

(Sun Down)

5:00. The sun was just hanging over the horizon and Mewtwo, who enjoyed these times the most, was standing at the entrance of his cave, waiting. As soon as the sun was down, he could finally fly through the cities and set up his plan undetected, he assumed. He saw no evil in what he was doing, for pokemon were much more civilized and useful than humans were, so what was so wrong with turning the humans into pokemon? It was the people who stood in his way, who were the 'bad guys', for they were trying to stop such a brilliant idea.

Had Mewtwo taken the time to meet ALL humans, his mind could've changed. But the only ones he saw and met were the ones who had tried to form him into something much more dark than this, and he knew of there intentions. It was like they tried to program him to take down all the Legendary, and for some reason especially Mew. To him that sorta made sense... But oddly enough only the Mew part.

Mewtwo had recently made some reservations to his 'home'. He added a room, traps, re-designed his lab, and made it a bit more comfortable for him. He found to like all these small items and designs, such as cushions and lights; It was all very comforting to him.

"DING DING! DING DING! DING DING!" Mewtwo crushed the alarm, which he had made with Psychic, in his hands. Although he hated the ways of humanity, he did indeed adore a lot of their ideas and luxuries.

Mewtwo stood and looked out, the small twinkling of the stars and half moon making a pavement to civilization. With one crank of the nozzle, he was out of his bath and at the entrance to the cave, many chemicals and contraptions in his hands. Mewtwo knew his plan would work, and it only made him all the happier that Mew, his 'nemisis', couldn't even stop him!

        ///////////////////////////////////////////////

Mew went zooming back to Uncle Mew's cave, sorta anxious really. She could've been killed, flicked away with the twitch of a muscle. Although that didn't really click i her mind. Why he had showed her mercy, she didn't know. Although she had this odd feeling it was so that there rivalry would last, sorta like a 'lets see who's better' type of thing.

"UNCLE MEW! I just met a fascinating pokemon!" She flew to his cave, passing the same Everstone that still lit. The Stone had been there ever since her Uncle was still alive. The two were connected, each depending on the other to survive. They had lived many, many years.

It was no secret that Uncle Mew was old, and Mew could've sworn she saw the stone give off a few flickers every once in a while.

"Yes, child," The older Mew casted his attention to the eyes of his niece.

"Yeah! He was big, strong... He's my 'counter part', or at lethat's what said!" Mew jumped around, all her anxiousness replaced with pride.

"Oh-ho-ho! It was a male... Describe him please!" Mew sat next to him and told him all of the events, leaving out nothing.

"Oh! Congrats Mew! What a lucky girl... Be careful though!" He was deeply concerned about her safety, although she seemed to be okay , but still.

"I know! But..." She looked around. "I think he's planning something... Something big! I read his mind for a few seconds... I know it's about humans," Uncle Mew nodded

"What an interesting character... Wow, go stop him Mew!" Mew nodded and drank a glass of milk that was already laid out for her. Uncle Mew slowly held his muzzle. He didn't mean to say that... No, not at all. Why had he just done that?

"Thanks Uncle Mew! I will!" She trotted to the door, and Uncle Mew was about to voice his concern. Although, it was too late. "See you later!" She quickly opened the door and flew out of the cave, going on the hunt for the mysterious pokemon before Uncle Mew could move another muscle.

Uncle Mew sat and stared at the door, his eyes wide. "If he had shown her mercy with little harm... Perhaps he'll do it again." He knew that there was no possible way to stop her now, he just simply put all trust into this 'Mewtwo'.

       //////////////////////////////////
"Mewtwo?" The name was fresh on her tongue, the twists and syllables mixing together. She tried to sense his energy, even went as far as to do a mind search, but she couldn't find anything.

"How can he hide himself so well..." She assumed it was part of his abilities. If he couldn't hide his life force so well, then any pokemon could track him down and even lead humans as well.

Mew floated on and on, but ultimately found nothing that even helped slightly in finding him. The only thing she found was an empty bottle. She knew she needed to act quickly, for Mewtwo had definitely already headed out and she only had little bits of time before he returned. By reading his mind, she knew briefly of his plan. He wanted to set up certain areas and install some chemical. Then, he was going to return home, which she knew was somewhere in a secluded forest. Finally, he would activate his something-a-nator, and then the humans would all get sick... and then poof, they all turn into various types of pokemon. She had known more than she thought actually.

Mew sorta thought of this as a game, a fun little competition between the two. After the failed attempt at finding Mewtwo, she knew that she had to think of something else. She was running out of time, for the moon was already on its way down. Slowly, a scent filled her nose. She sniffed and sniffed, not knowing where it could be coming from. The breeze was blowing towards her, the bottle right in front of her.

"Hmm... wait, Yee! I see now!" She knew now what to do. The bottle must of belonged to Mewtwo, for it had his scent on it. She remembered from.sniffing him earlier what exactly his natural smell was, and it seemed like this was the key. She focused hard and sensed out the strongest area the scent was, and flew at a high speed towards it.

She flew and flew, her eyes revealing the scent trail ahead of her. Finally, she reached the cave where she was almost positive Mewtwo rested in.

"Yes! I've won!" She flew through the narrow, long passageway.
