Spice It Up
"GAH!" Mewtwo held his head, the news striking him like a bullet fired into the midst of a war zone. He had only just begun to build his new idea to receive THIS news. He was so caught up in trying to finally prove that he was a terror to be dealt with, and then... this! No way, he told himself.
He was now at a loss of words, this was actually... quite big. No wonder the Legendary were never worried about him... Not that it made him to upset. This was going to be world changing, that he knew. Now the question arose. To protect all pokemon... even the one who he was vouched not to protect, should he interfere. Perhaps he should... but maybe he shouldn't. It all depended on if...
"What's been taking you so long!" Mewtwo about jumped out of his flesh, the high pitched voice rattling his mind. He hardly had to think much about who it could possibly be, the intruder being at this point obvious. Mewtwo scoffed, turning and raising his hand up in defense.
"Gah! What business do you have here, in THIS place!" Mew widened her eyes a bit, unconcerned. "You've been taking to long... there's nothing to do. Don't you understand your job? You're supposed to be doing som-" She then saw the machine in progress behind him, and her eyes lit up.
"So you haven't forgotten after all!" She looked at him, expecting his first set of dialogue or attack. In her head, it was all a game, and he was more than excited to play. But, this time, he wasn't.
"Gah! Why are you here... First, you destroy what I've been working so hard to do... And then you show up two days later without a concern at all. Do you even think about anything?! Shouldn't you be with the others!" Mew put away her smile for a bit, tilting her head. "Why... would I be there?" Mewtwo, instead of coming up with smart remarks or turning this into a one-way argument with Mew, or even trying to threaten her off and try his best to implant fear into his counter part, just simply sighed. "Look... I don't want to fight!!! As long as you leave right now, I'll give you mercy..." He treated her the way she acted, like a kid...
"No silly, I have to stop you. Besides, what else could I do?" Mewtwo was now convinced that she knew nothing of the brawl Dialga and Palkia were planning... And it seemed that she was actually one hundred percent clueless. Mew put a paw on her head and scratched it a bit.
Mewtwo lost his patience, looking at her and rolling his eyes, sarcastically remarking. "Well, why don't you just have a seat then, and I'll tell you all about it!" Mew did just that, staring at him with expecting eyes. Mewtwo, surprisingly, wasn't shocked by her obliviousness at all. If he tried to explain the concept of danger, explaining that coming into his house, the person that was originally out to kill her and torment her, she would just either ignore it or push it off as a silly joke. It was a hard task to get her to understand the concept of normal actions. As in, coming into your enemy's house and expecting him to play a game or tell you a story was not a logical action.
"She'll see it when I actually get rid of humanity... I'm sure of it!" That was what he thought, but the more and more time went on, he was sorta losing motivation to continue through with it. Mewtwo motioned for Mew to stand up, and Mew did just that.
"It's Dialga and Palkia... know anything about that? Well, they're at it, and just... stay away from Palkia, he's... being a baby!" He paused, then his face lit up with his mistake. "Or, err... I mean... go talk to Palkia, yeah, go ask him to play a game?!" He corrected himself... For his pride refused to let him give her any actually sense of care. Ha... silly him.
"Okay, I'll ask! Hurry up and get done so I can stop you!" She flew out of the cave way too quickly... and Mewtwo stared, his eyes widened. 'Was she... yes, of course she was!' He actually was in awe... For was she really going to do it? This was a definite turn in events, and now he was stuck in dumb terror of what he just did. It didn't matter, right. It's not like he should care. I mean, it's his enemy who's risking themselves, right? If anything happened to Mew, it would save him the trouble.
"Miserable, stupid child!" He hesitantly chuckled to himself, feeling as her aura slowly disappeared further and further away. He sat down, looking at the exit to the cave, and back at his machine.

Mew flew and flew, stopping by Uncle Mew's den. Again, nobody was there to answer the door, but this time it was unlocked. She twisted the nob, taking a look around to guarantee he absolutely wasn't home. She, this time, was fine. She flew to his fridge, poured herself a glass of milk and sat down. She looked over some newspapers laying out, humming a soft melody in her head. She scrolled past a few articles, managing to find one related to Dialga and Palkia. Of course, this was a paper made by a couple of geeky Legendary who decided to start their own business by selling newspapers to specific people... Sometimes making crude jokes and insults about ones they didn't like.
"Legendary are split! After an Earth Shattering debate, Pal-" Mew lost interest there, putting her dish away and throwing the newspaper back on the table. Mewtwo gave her the advice of asking Palkia to do something, so why shouldn't she. She had never really been to close with Palkia, so perhaps they could start a friendship or something. Although there were others, Mew was committed to talk to Palkia. Once she was committed to something, she never changed her mind.
For hours almost she flew around, searching anywhere for Palkia. She found nothing, the Legendary Realm being the last place to check. She did something she just newly learned, teleportation. She used it to teleport the remaining distance to the realm, her expression widening a bit upon entering. The place was a mess, literally almost everything destroyed. She went slowly around, all the familiar places trashed up and left in rubble.
"Hello?" She gawked out, but no one was there. Nobody came to her, and she was getting a bit frightened at the emptiness. She tried once more, and no response.
Mew then focused really hard, feeling a handful of Legendary. There was Lugia, Palkia, Darkrai, Jirachi, and many more. After double checking to make sure she was tracking the correct energy, she readied a teleport... Close enough to where she could almost do it in ease.
Mew opened her eyes again, and she was in a completely new place. New Moon Island, the island that Darkrai was granted. She was now very familiar with this place, having gone to this island and Full Moon Island a lot. Both were really cool to her, but she still questioned why only a few were here... maybe even why any were here.
"Did you guys not inform me ab-" She stopped talking, their faces already holding annoyance.
"Have you come to join us?" Palkia's voice held anger, a sense of pride being clear in his tone. Mew shook her head softly. "Why is everyone here... well actually, where's everyone else and why are you guys the only one's here?" She said all the words quickly, not even stopping for a pause. Darkrai then stepped up, him being a bit frightening to her.
"Why are you here! You're with them, aren't you!" Mew's mind had a different click, something she rarely ever felt. "No, I'm not with them!" She flew a ways back, and Darkai appeared behind her, rising through the ground.
"Why are you here!?" Mew went the other way, backing into Palkia by accident. "I... was going to ask you guys what was up with Palkia and Dialga. And how come Palkia is being such a 'baby'?" She said exactly what Mewtwo said, and Palkia's face turned serious.
"What did you just call me?" Mew could sense the rising anger in him, and it scared her even more. "Nothing... I just wanted to know what's going on!" Mew backed away again, forgetting about Darkrai who hovered a few feet closer to her now, blocking her off. "We've all had it up to here with your childishness Mew! We're done with you!" Mew focused her energy into a teleport, going to find the other half of the Legendary, but she couldn't. She actually couldn't do anything, and it was killing her.
Mew's mind clicked. She could see it so clearly now. She was in danger, if she didn't do something, she would most definitely get hurt. Why did she come here? Why did she call Palkia a baby?
"I'm leaving!" She got up and got ready to jet, but Palkia froze her in place. Slowly, she was turned around, psychic manipulating her body. How was this possible, she should've been resistant to this.
"You dare to call me a 'baby'. Do you even know who I am!? Huh, Do you understand me!" Mew stared at him, her eyes wide. She shook her head, confused. "I... was just saying!" Palkia about roared out, his expression murderous. "Deceive me again!" Mew tried to cover her ears, but her hands wouldn't move.
"W-What is this! Are you guys... evil?" She sorta understood it now. All the pokemon here had a typical reputation of being a bit more violent, starting more disputes than most others. All the others were the opposite, and it now started to make a bit of sense.
Palkia growled. "NO MORE QUESTIONS!" He released Mew, and she stopped herself midair. "Can I... go now?" The Legendary there were determined she was for the other side. Someone like her just wasn't on their team, and they knew that they were in danger if they let her go. Darkrai teleported in front of her, this time a faint smile on his twisted face.
"No... you may not!" Palkia, getting the cue, sent a mighty Dragon Pulse from behind, sending Mew flying forward into a kick from Darkrai, her form bending back and mouth hanging open, the hit drawing blood that shot out instantly. For a second she couldn't breath, her stomach tightening up on the impact so much she almost blacked out. She fell out of the air, her knees catching her and holding her up.
"You don't know how long we've wanted to teach some sense into you! You just don't get anything, everything's just a game to you, isn't it!" They had their own plans. They planned on showing her first hand what this world was truly like, not the annoying, made up fantasy she had. Never before had she been in a situation like this, her body actually having to fight back. She was starting to learn that common sense, that right now, there was no way to turn this into a game, no purpose in containing her childish like attitude. She was almost being ripped out of her own personality, being forced to change. She didn't want this, not at all. These Legendary were trying to change her, force her to have fear and force her to suffer through all of this, just to satisfy themselves.
"Do you see now..." Palkia again with his powers sent her into the air, her bloodied mouth hanging down, along with her face and eyes. Her tail went straight down, and she fought for consciousness. "Life isn't so fun and easy now, is it!" He forced her face up, Mew struggling to keep it down. Overall though, she lost, and she clenched her eyes shut. Palkia scoffed, Darkrai's arm glowing. Darkrai charged at Mew, a Night Slash cutting across Mew's cheek, Mew hissing and attempting to move her head up in pain, but it still being forced forward. Darkrai turned, following up his attack with a Shadow Ball. He fired it, behind Mew, making her cry out at the contact. It was worse because she couldn't even see it coming, just an unexpected pain.
"Ha... Not so sunshiny now, eh?" Mew was always so jittery, the type who would talk to you for no apparent reason and let her always positive joy slip into you. But now, she was definitely seeing, feeling so much new things, and her mind could hardly take it. She opened a single eye, it watery and red, staring at Palkia. How dare he do this, this was beyond evil. This was... a new level. What had she done to anybody, what had she done to deserve this.
Darkrai teleported in front of her, raising his hand in front of her performing a fake attack. Mew shriveled up and closed her one open eye, shrieking at the sight of his hand raising. Darkrai laughed, and Palkia smiled. "You think she gets it yet... I don't!" They teased out, and Mew did nothing but float there. She couldn't move even if she wanted to, and she opened her eyes in time to see a kick connect to her stomach again, and she yelped out helplessly, this time tears streaming down her face. She again could hardly breath, hardly control her body. Palkia this time readied a Shadow Ball, and fired it at Mew. Mew closed her eyes, but the attack never hit.
She opened an eye, seeing the sparkles the attacks left. She was able to move her head, and she looked up through teary eyes to see...
Mewtwo pointed a single toe down, softly descending downwards. He then slowly looked over his shoulder at Darkrai, Palkia, Lugia and Jirachi. He turned fully around, his gaze then shifting to Mew. He could sense the mixed, messed up emotions coursing through her, and he then stared at the four. He slowly walked up to him, quickly sending a fist backwards to knock a sneak attack from Darkrai away. Palkia growled, howling out.
"She's mine... You guys can't have her!" Mewtwo said it plainly, a non emotionless tone to his voice too. Mew was at this point forcing herself to stay conscious, her teary eyes barely staying open. In an instant, she was dropped. She landed with a soft 'thud' on the ground, barely having the strength to raise her head up. She looked at Mewtwo, feeling much better now. She didn't know how strong he really was, but he was her best hope, if not her only.
"She's yours! Do you even know who you're talking too!" Palkia roared out, and Mewtwo clenched his palms. "Look at what you've done! Were you trying to kill her!" Mewtwo yipped out too, his palms glowing.
"Why would you care... Mewtwo!?" Mewtwo looked up, shocked at how he knew that. "Where did you learn that!?"
Palkia didn't bother to answer, instead grinning a bit. "Tell you what... you join us in this fight, and we spare her!" He motioned to Mew, who already had a Shadow Claw positioned to her neck. Mewtwo couldn't let his emotions show, and he smirked. "Why would I care if she dies... Fool!" He readied an attack, hoping that he wouldn't try and go through with his word.
"You don't now..." Mewtwo slowed down mid-charge, watching as Darkrai grinned and held the attack in the air, swooshing down. Mewtwo quickly restrained him with Pyschic, freezing him in place. Mewtwo couldn't believe it... Palkia was actually a murderer. He would stop at nothing it seemed.
Mewtwo held his Pyschic, making slow, controlled steps while it was still active. Darkrai growled, his mind slowly overpowering the Pyschic, and Mewtwo made an all out break for it, shoving Darkrai away. Mew gave a wavy hand out to Mewtwo, and he pulled her up, letting her rest with both arms around his neck. She hung there, now feeling much more protected, her arms in a secure lock around him. Mewtwo then made a dash upwards, sending a huge, decoy Shadow Ball down below. Palkia got right on that, and Darkrai chased after the two. Mewtwo kept flying up, at just the right moment kicking downwards, his foot connecting with the incoming Darkrai and sending him down back to the surface.
Mewtwo focused his energy, teleporting them far, far away.
