Prologue - (Y/N) Goes To Brazil- I mean, Japan

As I look out the window, we are about to land. I slept most of the travel, but I did look forward to it.

Having gone here all from the US, it's certainly going to be a bit different of it. I mean, a second year foreign transfer student in a Japanese high school, it will either go well or downright bad.

At least I will have an apartment here, but I only got money for the first month's rent. My parents have trouble already with their own economy, but that's on them for going so frequently on trips to Las Vegas...

Either way, my best bet is getting a part time job as soon as possible, though maybe adapting first is good to do first.

You know, I should've actually done a list rather than putting on One Piece. Could've been something much more productive before falling asleep...

Huh, well, anyways, I can do that once I come to my apartment instead. School won't start until Monday, so I have Sunday being one entire free day just for myself to plan what in the world I should do now when Japan is my new home.

The captain soon speaks, informing us that we are landing in just a few minutes, so I better put all my stuff back in my backpack to make sure everything is with me.

As the plane makes touchdown and taxi to the gates, we are soon able to stand up and walk out. Of course, a lot of people at the same time, so some difficulties to navigate, but I soon arrive at the baggage drop off zone.

I pick up my baggage that had just come out at the conveyor belt before moving on to the arrivals zone.

There I spot a man, holding a sign with my name on it. Great, now all of Japan knows I am called-

"(Y/N) (L/N)! That is you, correct?" The man asks me in Japanese as I nod.

"Yes, that's me alright." I reply to him, in Japanese of course, because now I am living in a whole other country after all, so better know their language.

The man, calling himself Mr. Ditkovich as he is actually half Japanese, gives me a ride to the apartment complex.

Arriving at it, he turns around and reaches his hand to me. "Okay, the rent, now."

"Yeah yeah..." I reply as I get out the money to pay for the first month's rent. Talk about being desperate for money, jeez.

Using the elevator to get up faster to my apartment, I soon get to enter it. Quite simple of it, but it's enough, I can probably get a better home after finishing high school.

Anyways, time to check for part time jobs already now! I take a magazine laying on the kitchen table, walk to my bedroom, make myself comfortable in the already made bed and finally open it up.

"The-" I only manage to read before I instantly fall asleep...

...

I end up having a dream, a weird one.

A girl stands far away from me, and for some reason, I begin walking up to her.

As I do that, she begins running away, and once again, for some reason I begin running as well.

Why am I so desperate to know who this girl is-?

I suddenly trip over literally nothing, and as I look up again, the girl is gone.

Trying to yell after her, I can't make any sound, typical of a dream really.

"Psst." I suddenly hear someone whisper, making me turn around at once, but no one there.

However, slowly but surely, out of the corner of my eye, a girl's face comes into view. She is smiling, but that smile only looks sinister of it.

I turn to her, but as I do that, she becomes furious, and screams at the top of her lungs before lunging at me..!

...

I wake up with a jump from that nightmare, falling off my bed. However, I notice soon something; it's already a new day.

"Man, I must've fallen asleep quite deep as soon as I tried finding part time jobs..." I say to myself as I pick up the magazine again to read what I wanted to read;

"The top livehouse in Shinjuku welcomes you to start part-timing for them! CiRCLE, for music lovers, by music lovers!"

A livehouse, huh? Not usual to hear about those, but why not. I have had a passion for singing once and do like music." I tell myself as I look up the street address for the livehouse. Better to just head there at once, because I slept until 10 am, when most shops and stores has opened up.

I have to walk for now, as I have to most likely get myself a new bicycle over here. Couldn't have the one I had before transported to here for some god damn reason.

Either way, no use fretting over that, I need money overall for now, and my best bet is with this live house after all.

Walking for about an hour or so, I finally arrive at my destination, looking a bit on it from a distance.

"So there it is, huh? They even have a café out here so people can enjoy that before watching lives, among other things." I think to myself as I continue on towards the entrance and soon enter it, being greeted by a very nice atmosphere and... falling boxes?!

"Whoa!" I utter out as I jump out of the way as a stack of boxes falls right on the spot I stood on.

"Huh? Oh dear, did you get those on you?! I am so sorry!" A woman with a very casual everyday outfit apologizes as she runs up to me. "Things has just been a mess since a few in our staff resigned, and I am the only one left working with the actual managing of equipment and such..."

"Oh, but where is the boss? I have come here to speak with them actually."

"Ah, they are not usually around in CiRCLE you see. They just make sure the numbers goes up as usual-"

But as the woman is about to say more, she becomes wide eyed, most likely realizing why I am here.

"Oh my! And here I almost crushed you under some boxes!" She says as she bows. "I am Marina Tsukishima, one of the full time workers here at CiRCLE! I assume you came here from our recent ad, correct?"

"Indeed, and I came here because I need a part-time job. Just came from US and will start school tomorrow."

"No wonder you looked a bit foreign! You speak very good Japanese though, which will be very needed here!" Marina says as she soon giggles. "Sorry, I am just so happy we actually are getting more help at last. You are a life saver, do you know that?"

"Just don't throw me out in cold water." I joke as she giggles again before heading up to the boxes.

"Can you help then fetching these and put them away like I first intended, and I will in the meantime contact my boss about you!"

"Yeah sure, I am ready to start at once after all-"

The entrance bell suddenly rings, and in comes a group of five girls. Hmm, also some people that wants to part-timers possibly?

"Oh but hello Poppin'Party! You all came just as we got a new part-timer in the house!" Marina says as she points to me and they all look to me. Well, 'Poppin'Party' sounds like a group name, so these are possibly one of the bands practicing here.

"Ah, hello there, guy!"

"Kasumi, that 'guy' actually has a name, you know..?" The dirty blonde girl says with a sigh to the brown haired girl sporting an oddly shaped hairstyle.

"We don't know it however! So what's your name, new staff?" The light brown haired girl asks me as she looks at me with her blue eyes.

"The name's (Y/N) (L/N), nice to meet you, Poppin'Party." I reply as all the girls giggles before Marina walks up to them and hands them a pair of keys.

"Hehe, are you sure you aren't a psychic of sorts?" The brown haired girl with an odd hairstyle asks Marina as I just shake my head. "Anyway, (Y/N)! I think we need introduce ourselves too!"

"Introduction? I mean, it's not like we are going to see (Y/N) the whole time-"

"I vote for doing an introduction to the new part-timer, he still has the right to know about us!"

Poppin'Party
The band in constant search of a sparkling and heart pounding beat!

"Me first, me first!"

"Kasumi, I think it's obvious you are the one whom introduces themselves first..."

"Hehe... But hey, I am Kasumi Toyama! I not only sing our heart pounding songs, but I also provide some guitar at the same time!"

"Well now, don't hog all the confidence for yourself. I am Arisa Ichigaya, and I am the one who plays the keyboard in our band."

"...Well, you have always been the one to not show that side of yourself to new people. But I am Saaya Yamabuki, and I play on the drums! Maybe not the most exciting instrument in a band line up, but I have my passion for it."

"I am Tae Hanazono, the lead guitarist for the band. But let me ask you; Was it fate that could've brought you here? The rabbit god wanted you to be here, perhaps..."

"Tae, sometimes things just happens, heh. But h-hello, my name is Rimi Ushigome, the bassist for the band! Y-You will have to excuse me being a bit shy, I am still working on overcoming that when meeting new people after all..."

"You guys are certainly an interesting bunch. Is it only you guys that practice here?"

"Oh no, a lot of other bands tend to be here too, and we know most of the members personally of those other bands." Saaya says before chuckling a bit. "We won't spoil them for you though, you will just have to meet them yourself!"

"Well, I'll be looking forward to that then. But I shall not hold you any longer, you are going to practice after all, correct?"

"Yes! It's going to be so fun, right Arisa?"

"Why are you asking me, Kasumi?!" Arisa retorts as everyone laughs, me also joining. Heh, she might be a fun girl to tease at times, as she seems to be one of those that always act tough but really are quite sweet of them inside.

Hmm, kinda like fruits...

"Something on your mind, (Y/N)?" Tae asks me, but I just shake my head. Better not say anything like that regarding Arisa, or else she might want to send me six feet underground. Should never underestimate anyone after all what they can possibly do.

After Poppin'Party heads to their assinged studio, I continue with picking up the boxes that fell earlier and almost could've buried me. Well, not today, boxes, not today.

"Hey Marina, is it true that there are more bands around here?" I ask her as I did get curious over what Poppin'Party mentioned.

"But of course it's true, haha! A handful of bands practices in here, except one, but we are on good terms with them so they both still participate in lives and do lives of their own in there."

"Interesting... Well, can't wait to meet them all."

"Looking for a girlfriend or what~?"

"W-wah? No, I just think it will be fun meeting new people this soon, that's all!" I reply at once. That was really just from nowhere!

No matter what though, this job could possibly get more and more interesting as time goes. Only that that might take a bit currently.

But no use thinking about it for now. Back to work for me, and hello to all the new stuff waiting for me in my life starting from now on...

TO BE CONTINUED.

(A/N): A short prologue, I know. But this was only to actually get it out there, a project that I tried keeping secret.

Anyways, hope all of you will find this enjoyable, and I look forward to delivering more chapters for this new book.
