How Everything....CAN NOTHING GO RIGHT!!!
My mind had gone blank. My team had disappeared and I had no way of knowing if they were safe or if Xandria was even strong enough to carry them all to the same place. I just sat on the gravel pathetically, staring into the space my team had disappeared. I would have to trust my team to take care of themselves and to remember all of their training. There was nothing I could do for them at this time, so I gathered my bearings quickly.
Everyone seemed to be waiting for me to do anything.
"Yah!!! Do I look like I came from the zoo?!" As someone was about to answer, I interrupted, "Don't answer that."
A very tall man, who looked like he hadn't showered in years, came up and addressed the others, "Boss wants us back at headquarters. Team C, go first and report what happened. A, you know where to go."
Both teams left and only the greasiest, shifty and most intimidating were left to guard me. Mr. Needs-to-Shower stepped up, invading my personal bubble, with a sneer.
"Well, missy, it looks like your friends left you oh so graciously for us. Boss asked especially to see you, though I don't see why. Out of your pathetic team of misfits, why would she want to see you?"
"She? I thought Stinky was your boss!"
"Want to meet her? Have patience and we will take you to her without any trouble." He turned around towards his waiting team. "Take her. Make sure you keep an eye on her. I have something to take care of. Boss just reported seven who were just mutated about a month ago. We've been chasing them and heard sightings of them nearby."
He left me in the midst of about thirty savages. Done with everything today, I surprised them with kick to the nearest face. I knew I had about a 10% chance to win this fight, nevertheless I wasn't going to stay while I had a team to find and a world to protect, seemingly on my own. With my powers at 0%, I had to rely on my own body and spear-ax. After I had knocked out about a dozen, they managed to knock my weapon away and pin me down.
"You know when people usually picture being pinned under an intense and sweaty man, this is not the situation they imagine."
"Gag her." I guess people just aren't in the mood for my jokes. *Sigh*
I was quickly gagged and blindfolded and all I could register was being slung over a very sweaty man's shoulder and being jostled as they picked up a fast jog.
Some great force, though, knocked all of us backwards. Thank God I didn't land under my heavy mode of transportation, though, I can't say that I landed all too gracefully either, being blind and all. Something keeps rushing around and past our group and I could only hear the sounds of struggling and bodies hitting the ground. Silence mixed with panting settles over my ears.
"Excuse me! Anyone there? Hello?"
Footsteps neared me slowly followed with whispering. Slowly someone lifted the blindfold and untied my gag. I just had to be directly under the sun. I closed my eyes for a bit before looking around in utter shock. Doth mine eyes deceive me? There standing before me were BTS in person. I'm sure I looked like a cod fish. I slapped my face and I was awake.
"Gwenchanhayo?" There before me crouched Kim Seokjin, staring with concerned eyes.
I could do nothing but nod dumbly. My mind had stopped processing anything, I even forgot to breathe for a second. I'm usually not this helpless, but I could not process what was happening. BTS was an idol group. What were they doing out here? They had powers? They are all staring at me? Why are- THEY ARE STARING AT ME!!! Ottokaji?!
They were discussing something among themselves, which I had missed in my momentary mental lapse earlier. They seemed to be talking about me with their quick and often glances at me.
"What do we do? I thought we were just going to fight." Jungkook seemed upset.
"Do we take her with us? She seems so helpless." Jin was concerned at least, though I was indignant with the last bit.
"No. We can't trust a stranger in our group without knowing them first. We made that mistake once before already." Well I could see Jimin's point of view on that. Being a leader, I didn't trust people around my group easily either.
"Before we make any decision, I think we should talk to her first." Well Namjoon is taking charge as usual.
"I agree", I commented. "As much as I would like to stick around and chat or ask for your signatures, I have a team to find." I had regained my cool facade and meant to stay calm and focused on my friends.
Sorry for not updating in awhile. I've been busy with finals and the holidays. I hope you all have a merry Christmas!!!
