Jercy - Alcohol

"Get the fuck back to work, Jason"

Jason turned back and saw his boss, Reyna, looking disapprovingly at Jason. He was in the middle of flirting with a customer.

He gave a look to the dude, who left. Not before blowing him a kiss, which Jason caught. "You never let me have fun, Reyna." Jason confessed to his boss.

"You don't even like that guy." Reyna retorted, redness spread across the blond's face. He adjusted his glasses and turned to make someone's order, hiding his blush.

He looked up and saw him. Perseus Jackson. He was on the corner of the bar, on his phone. Probably waiting for his order, which Jason forgot to make. Grabbing a bottle behind, Reyna, he starts to make the drink.

The Latina grabbed a bottle of whiskey and took a swig, smirking at her useless gay employee.

Reyna knows what happens at her bar. It's her damn bar. She knows Percy Jackson comes here every night with time to waste and money to burn. The bar owner also definitely knew that his employee had a massive crush on him.

"You look so stupid, watching from afar. Go talk to him, loser." She told Jason, who glared at her. He gives a drink to a blonde customer, who throws down some dollars.

"You're not any better." Jason said, nodding towards a punk girl who sat by herself. Now it was Reyna who was blushing.

Jason decided to make this night more interesting. "If you ask her out, I'll ask him out. Deal?"

"Bet"

She strides towards the girl, and starts making a drink for her. The girl sets down her phone and smirks at her.

"I didn't order anything."

"It's on the house"

"Thanks"

She drank the Bourbon that Reyna gave her, before putting it down and holding her hand out.

"Thalia" she told to Reyna.

"Cute name. I'm Reyna". Shaking her hand, Reyna smiles. Yes, you heard that.

Reyna smiled. Jason was quaking in his shoes in fear. Reyna doesn't smile.

As soon as they're hands departed, there was a napkin in Reyna's hand. She raised an eyebrow at the bartender.

"How about we get lunch. 10am?" Reyna asked. Thalia grinned at the girl.

"I heard about your little dare you know" Thalia informs Reyna. She blushed and scratched the back of her head.

"Is that a yes?"

"It's a date."

At that, Thalia finishes her drink and leaves the bar. Reyna walks back to a shocked Jason. "Get your jaw of the floor and ask him out."

"How the hell am I supposed to that?!" Jason asked Reyna. She only shrugged.

"Guess you'll have to figure that out cause's he's coming."

Jason whipped his head behind him, and sees the boy approaching Reyna. He turns to Reyna, but sees her close a door in his face.

"Reyna! You can't leave me-," Jason whisper-screamed at the locker door.

"Hello," Jason turns around for the inevitable. Percy Jackson. He was the definition of handsomeness. Toned skin, messy black hair, sharp jawline. Jason wanted to melt away into the floor.

"Hi," he squeaked our. He smiles awkwardly, and absentmindedly fidgets.

"What drink do you want?"

"Vodka"

Jason turns and grabs a bottle, consulting himself. Man up, Grace Reyna's voice echoed in his head. You can do this her voice whispered.

Jason turns and sets a glass down, and pours the liquid into it, with Percy staring at him.

Percy examined every inch of his body. He's cute he said to himself. His hands move to a napkin he's playing with, away from Jason's sight.

Here I go.

Jason finishes the drink and passes it to him. He sets down the a few dollars and turns to leave.

Not before leaving with a few words. "Starbucks. Around the corner from here. 3 pm. Be there."

Jason blinks at him, and continues to stare as shuts the door.

"Pussy." A teasing voice said behind him.

He turns and sees Reyna, who holds the paper napkin that Percy gave him. She tosses it to Jason who fumbles to catch it.

"The bottom energy is strong with this one." Jason glared at the person who said that. Leo Valdez. He glared at him, but Reyna and another bartender, Piper McLean, laugh.

"Fuck all of you."

Sucking his teeth, he wraps his hand on the cool metal that is the door handle. Jason pushes the door open, and a bell signals his entrance. There are only two Starbucks baristas there, who were flirting with each other. On the job, nonetheless.

"What can I get you sir?" A barista said, obviously annoyed at him. His name tag read 'Nico di Angelo'.

"Can I get a Frappuccino?" He asks nervously. He grabs a clear plastic cup and raises an eyebrow at the bartender.

"Basic, but sure." The boy judged. His coworker, named Will, frowned at him.

"I like frappes." Will said sadly. Nico sneered at his coworker.

"And you're basic. Name?" He said to Jason. He really did not want to get into the middle of this.

"Jason."

"Okay, Luke."

"I'm not basic!" Will said annoyed at Nico, who turns on the coffee machine.

"Yes, you kind of are." Nico said , putting in his earbuds.

Will glared at him, as Nico hums to his song while making his drink. "Here you go, L."

The drink slides into Jason's hand. Will removes one of Nico's earbuds. Before the shorter one could protest, he was whispering in Nico's ear.

Apparently, it was enticing because a deep blush rose into Nico's cheeks. The blond walks to the back door.

"Wait, I'll do it Will!" Nico said, and practically destroyed the metal door. Jason wonders what the fuck they were going on about.

He leaves and takes an empty spot, sipping at his coffee patiently.

Ding

The door opened and Percy Jackson stepped in. His head snapped to Jason's spot, and a grin spread it's way to his mouth.

Anxiously, Percy sat down across Jason, who slid a cup of coffee towards him. "Thank you." Percy thanked Jason. He nodded.

"So, what's up?"

Ding

A small bell rang, and Percy and Jason left the Starbucks laughing. "Now way, that never happened!"

"It did!" Percy claimed. Jason smiled, unconvinced. Percy gently smacked his arm, blushing.

"I'm not lying!" His voice notched up a few octaves, and Jason shook his head amused. They kept walking at the park, the night sky shunting down on them.

Comfortable silence was shared between the two as they held hand in hand. The only sounds was the quiet breeze, and the chatter of other people.

They both got tired and sat down at a bench, still not talking. "So, why did you ask me out?"

Percy looked at Jason, shocked. "Huh?"

"Why'd you ask me out?"

Percy sighed and rested his head on his shoulder. "I don't know, I thought you were cute."

Jason raised an eyebrow at him. "Seriously?".

"Yup."

The blonde covered his blush behind Percy's dark hair. Percy grabbed Jason's hand and traced random patterns behind his palms.

"Why did you accept?" Percy asked, and Jason lifted his head from his floofy hair. "I thought you were cute too."

Percy faces the bartender, and tenderly raised a hand to Jason's cheek, who was blushing and trying to combust in rainbows.

"Jason-," Percy said, but his lips collided with Percy's. It felt...warm. Like snuggling next to a fireplace on a winter night with hot chocolate and shit. Comfortable, like a small apartment
that just feels like home.

Unfortunately, we both have to breathe, so we separated. "That was...wow" Jason stuttered, his hands holding onto to Percy's soft hands.

"Yeah." Percy said, resting his head on Jason's lap. Jason fingers played with the other boy's messy black hair.

"I think I love you..." Percy said. Jason brushed a strand of hair away from Percy's forehead, blush spreading to his cheeks.

"I...I think I love you too." The blonde responded to dreamily.

Their lips gravitated to each other again, and the starry night disappeared, the only thing that anchored him to the world was Percy.

If he left go, he might float away to the starry night sky. He held on tighter to Percy. The raven haired boy's fingers danced against Percy's hair, wanting to hold onto him.

This is stupid, you just met. But for some reason, it didn't feel dumb. It felt like they knew each other for weeks. Years, even.

Once they separated, they smiled at each other, and the world felt like it revolved around them.
