I dont know about that but if complexity is your definition of superiority than yes, it is for you.

Science tells us that our brains are wired far more complitcatedly compared to other oragnisms.

Assuming that to be true, look at it this way, we created social constructs where we are disgusted by the idea of same sex marriage, where some are seen as less of a human because of their skin tone, a world where pieces of paper have more control over our lives than anything else.

How many other species have done anything like that and that too to such an extent?

With more 'intelligence' comes with more responsibility, more to lose out.
We've seen superheroes lose something at the cost of their powers, we've seen people sacriface other things for the sake of their careers, we've seen that when we exceed in one field, something else is lost.

As intelligent species we consider ourselves as, often we lose track, lose our morals to greed, lose one part of ourselves to succeed.

Our 'intelligence' just may be the reason behind our inability to adapt to Earth. After all, we are the only ones here that is yet to merge with the ways of nature.
