Evie sighed. "Please, don't make me answer that."

"Tell me." Sunset demanded. "Do you know who H is?"

"No. She thinks I do. That's why she wants to kill me. But I won't let her hurt any of you."

Sunset closed her eyes. "She murdered so many people. And Rariy?"

"I did it all to protect you. I'm still protecting all of you. H said that if I do everything she asks, she would leave you alone. So I had to murder them, have River arrested...and become-"

Josi hit her arm. "Are you sure you're ready to show someone else this?"

Evie nodded. "You've been a great friend. But I need my old friends back. I trust them."

Sunset watched Evie pull het blue wig off. She gasped...

Henna rubbed her back.

She wasn't hurt after her 'fight' with he officer. It was her heart that hurt. Even though she had lied to save her friends, she still felt like she had betrayed them. And she hated herself for it. For causing them pain.

River and Rainbow both got out on bail, but the trial could get them convicted again.

Celestia, help them. Please.

The trial day finally came.

Henna sat in a table with River, Hailey, and Rainbow.

The group of friends sat I the front row.

They didn't know any of the jurors.

Judge 'Azalea' (I think that a type of flowers???) was presiding the trial.

Sunset was holding Twi's hand, and staring at Henna. Then she heard the door close. She turned.

Josi and Evie were standing at the door. They sat in the back.

"I'll be back," she said.

Then she walked, and slipped into a chair by Evie.

"Why are you here?"

"To see what I did to Henna."

Josi sighed. "Don't worry. I won't let anything happen to Evie."
Evie pressed her lips together. "I'll be fine, Sunset. Go back to our- um your friends. Don't tell them that I'm here."

Sunset nodded. "I won't. Bye."

"Let the trial begin!" Azalea declared.

Violet, who was defending Rarity, called the first name on her list. "Defense calls Blair Hallows to the stand."

Blair pushed the big doors open. She walked up to the stand.

"I should have known she couldn't be trusted," Sunset hissed.

"Ms Hallows. Can you tell me what you know about these three girls?"

Blair nodded. "Yes. A few weeks ago, I was having a party. Then I saw my old lawyer viciously murdered."

Violet smiled. "And who killed her?"

"It was Henna. And she was with some other girl, who had blue hair."

Sunset looked at Evie. Her face showed terror.

"And is that person in the court room?"

"No."

"What about River and Rainbow Dash?"

Blair let out a fake tear. "I used to be great friends with Rainbow and Rarity! Then one day, Rainbow told me she had to take care of a friend. When she came back, I remember seeing blood on her skirt. She said she would put me in a casket if I ever told anyone."

Rainbow slammed her hands on the table. "What?!"

"And River?"

"She's not a problem. She did nothing wrong."

Azalea nodded. "Thank you, Blair. Hailey?"

Hailey pushed herself up. "Your honor. I call Sunset Shimmer to the stand."

Sunset blinked.

"Go, so they won't think you're hiding something," Twi whispered.

Sunset placed her hand on the Bible.

"Do you promise to tell the truth, a d nothing but the truth?"

"I do."

"Take a seat."

Sunset glared at Blair.

Hailey smiled. "Is there anything you know about these murders?"

"No. Oh, but I do know a lot about Blair. That girl was in jail for murdering her sister! But I got her out. Now her father is sitting on his butt in jail. And Blair was in a WHEEL CHAIR! So what happened? How can she walk? Henna didn't kill Sylvie! But she-"

"BITCH!" Josi screamed. "LYING BITCH!"

Sunset gasped. "That's all I know. Sorry."

They sat through more testifiers. None of them knew anything.
Then they called up the last person.

"Principal Celestia."

Indigo smiled. "Least it's not Cinch."

Celestia folded her hands. "The day Rarity was murdered, she and Rainbow weren't at school. But I had seen them fighting a lot before that. I never thought Rainbow would kill someone. Then I heard her telling Twilight Sparkle what she had done. And she didn't even go to the police."

"GO AWAY!" Sunset screamed.

"Henna and River?"

"I got a call from someone named Evie. She told me that she helped them kill Sylvie and Colette. That's all I know."

"I HATE YOU!" Sunset screamed again.

The court broke for a few minutes, while the jury talked.

The girls were allowed to see each other.

Sunset hugged Henna. "You'll be fine. You have to come home."

"I don't know if I can."

Rainbow sighed. "We'll always be friends."

"Jail can't end that," River said.

"But H is still out there," Sour Sweet said.

Josi walked up to the girls. She pulled Sunset's arm. "I need you, right now. Come on."

Sunset nodded. "What's wrong?"

"Celestia pointed to Evie. She's going to be arrested. I have to get her out of here, but she doesn't want me to."

"Do what you think is right."

Josi sighed. "You're right. Thanks."

The court was called back together.

River, Henna, Evie, and Rainbow stood before the jury.

Azalia held her gavel. "Has the jury reached a verdict?"

One of them stood up. "We have, your honor. We the jury find the defendants guilty, for the murders of Rarity, Colette, and Sylvie."

Sunset, Twi, Applejack, Sour Sweet, Indigo, Sunny, Sugarcoat, Lemon Zest, Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Emerald all flew out of their chairs. (A/N- A LOT of names.)

"No!" Sunst whispered.

One of the officers pulled Twilight around, and cuffed her.

Sunset gasped. "No!"

The nine friends had to watch their other friends be cuffed again, and pushed back through the door, to the jail.

They didn't say anything. They didn't move.

The only sound was Sunset's sobbing.

You don't know it yet, but you just found out something about H. And Evie. And Blair.
Everyone.
They all have their secrets.

So Evie is now in jail.
Only Sunset and Josi know who she is. And it's going to stay that way.
