Sucking Blood
So sorry for the wait. I had a lot of homework this week.
Sunset slid into her desk.
She stared at Vice Principal Luna.
Sweat was pricking on her forehead.
Luna placed her test on the desk.
Sunset pushed it away. She folded her arms on the desk, and put her head down.
Rainbow put her hand on Sunset's back. "Just look at it. I know you did well."
"But what if I failed?" she whispered.
"You didn't, Sunset. I promise."
Sunset looked at her.
She nodded.
She sighed, and flipped her paper over. "Well, I got a B. That's not failing."
Rainbow smiled. "That's great. I know Sylvie will let you in."
Sunset bit her lip.
"Sunset, you're bleeding," she said.
She touched her lip. Blood was dripping down her chin.
Blood fell on her test paper.
It spelled out into a letter.
"Oh, law school. That should be fun. A change, and I'm free from you. -H."
She screamed, and dropped her paper.
Principal Celestia looked at her. "Sunset, are you ok?"
Sunset was shaking. She picked up the test. The note was gone.
"Yeah, I'm sorry. I just, um..." she didn't have an excuse. "Sorry."
She nodded. "Stay after class."
Sunset buried her face in her hands. "Great."
There were so many things she wanted to scream, but she held it in.
The bell rang, and she stayed at her desk.
Principal Celestia walked over to her. "Sunset, are you ok?"
She nodded. "Yeah, I'm great!"
"That's good. Because Principal Sylvie wants you at Harvard." she said.
Sunset stared at her. "Are you for real?"
Then she flinched. Worst. Question. EVER. she thought.
"Yes, I'm for real," she said.
Sunset smiled. "Thank you!"
Principal Sylvie came in. "We'll leave in the morning. I'm going to pick you up here, ok?"
She nodded.
-
Sunset walked home to pack.
She heard a big boom.
She stopped.
Pools of blood were flooding at her. She let out a chocking scream.
The blood started licking at her boots. It was sticky, and it was sucking her down.
She ripped her legs out, and ran home. She unlocked her apartment door.
Blood was covering her bed, desk, curtains, everything.
A burst of blood shot from her lamp when she plugged it in.
She sank down on her knees, she stayed there. Tears dripped on her floor, and turned into blood.
She looked at the new message on her phone. "Do you like this little prank I left you? Death by sucking blood. -H."
Her phone slipped out of her hands, and she fell asleep.
-
It was morning when she woke.
The blood was gone.
She put her clothes in her bag, and ran to school.
"Sunset, what happened? You look like you went sky- diving!" Rarity gasped.
"Oh, there was just blood all over my room when I got home, and I think I fainted."
Applejack hugged her. "Are you ok?"
She nodded. "Yeah, I'm good. I have to go meet Principal Sylvie. Bye, girls. I'll be home for summer."
Pinkie, Rainbow, Applejack, and Rarity waved as she left.
Principal Sylvie stared at Sunset. "Are you sure you want to do this?"
"Yes, I'm ready." she said. A look of determination appeared on her face.
They drove to the airport, and boarded their flight.
Sunset looked out her window for the next few hours.
Principal Sylvie tapped her arm. "We'll be landing in ten minutes."
She nodded. "Ok, thank you."
As the plane started to descend, Sunset took a picture of the airport from the sky.
She smirked, knowing that these next few months would change her life.
Ok, I won't let the next chapter take so long to write. Thank you, people!
