Flight 109 boarding.

Sunset picked up her bag. She handed her boarding pass to the lady.

The old Shadowbolts were in their seats.

She smiled.

"Here, I got you a seat," Sour Sweet said.

Sunset put her bag under the chair. "If they ask me to move it, I'll-"

Sour Sweet put her hand over Sunset mouth.

A flight attendent walk by.

"I'm sorry. I didn't want her to hear that."

"It's ok. Thanks."

The flight took off at 12.

They were the only people on the plane.

Indigo pulled her hair. "I should let it get long."

Sunset shook her head. "Please don't."

She smirked.

Lemon Zest had her music up.

Sugar Coat tapped her arm. "Zesty, I'm gonna go deaf. Please turn your music down. I like using my ears."

"There's no way to sugar coat that," Sunset said.

She looked at her phone.

NO MESSAGES

"Thank you," she whispered.

"So, the plane lands in the city. How are you going to get to your apartment?" Sunny Flare asked.

"Rarity's picking me up." She looked up. "I hope."

"If she's not there, I can drive you," Sour Sweet said.

Sunset smiled. "Thank you."

Lemon Zest took her headphones off. "Hey, we're all going to be leaving this summer. We should do something together now."

Indigo closed her eyes. "Let's sleep."

Sunset shook her. "No, Zesty's right. Let's have fun before our plane lands."

Sunny shook her head. "It's not going to get to the city tonight."

"Why?" Sour Sweet asked.

"Look at this," Sunny showed them her phone. She pointed. "See that? That's all up there a few miles. We're gonna have to land, and then get on a different plane after the weather clears up."

"When will it be clear?" Sunset whispered.

Sunny looked at her phone. "It's a lot of rain. I don't think we'll get on a new plane tomorrow. I think we'll be staying in this next city for two days."

Sunset face palmed. "That's great."

The piolet came on. "Because of weather, we will be landing. Descent in five minutes."

At the airport, they did a search for a hotel.

"There's one down the street," Indigo said. "They still have rooms open."

"Let's go. Sunset's about to go to sleep now," Sour Sweet said.

Sunset was swaying.

She fell.

Indigo wrapped Sunset's right arm around her neck. Sour Sweet took Sunset's left.

They walked down to the hotel.

After they got to their room, Sour Sweet and Indigo lay Sunset on one of the beds.

Sometime in the night, Sunset woke up.

She walked in the other room.

"Are you ok?" Sour Sweet whispered.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just got up." she whispered back.

Sour Sweet stood up. "I can't sleep. This place feels..."

Sunset nodded. "I completely understand."

"Do you want to go for a walk?" she asked.

"Yeah, let's just leave a note. If they wake up, they should know where we are."

She ripped out some paper.

Hey, girls!

We went out for a walk. We'll be back soon.

Friends, Sour Sweet and Sunset.

They walked out in the lobby.

"Hey, um, Sunset?" Sour Sweet looked nervous.

"What?" she asked.

Sour Sweet brushed her hand throught her hair. "I have to tell you something."

Sunset stared at her. "Ok, what?"

She didn't say anything. She leaned forward, and kissed Sunset.

When she pulled back, Sunset's face showed horror.

"What's wrong?" Sour Sweet asked.

"You just kissed me," she whispered.

Sour Sweet ponited. "I'm going to the bathroom."

Sunset touched her lips. She shook her head. "No."

I know someone who would love to know about this. Only, she's in jail for murder. I love how you're turning your back on her. Sunsweet, huh? I know one ship that's dead now. -H

Hate filled her eyes.

Sour Sweet came in. "I'm back."

"That's great!" she said. "Look, Sour Sweet, you're a great friend. But I can't go out with you. I'm sorry."

"It's fine. We should get back."

Sunset looked past her. "Sour Sweet?"

She blinked. "What?"

"Look at that," she whispered.

Water was seeping under the door.

Terror crashed over the friends.

"Sunset, we have to get our friends, and leave."

"But there are other people here!" she screamed.

"I'm not staying. You can try to help them, but I'm getting the other Shadowbolts, and leaving."

Sunset backed away. "Ok, fine. Bye, Sour Sweet."

She ran up the stairs, and banged on the doors.

"Get out, the building's flooding!" she screamed.

People were running out of their rooms.

Sunset went back down to the lobby. She was about to scream again, when the water splashed around her legs. She looked down. The water was turning to blood.

She gasped as it pulled her down.

"Help!" she screamed.

Her vision blurred. The blood- water was in her eyes.

She kicked out, but she didn't know what to do.

"Sunset!" Indigo screamed.

She jumped in the water.

Sunset was choking.

"Close your mouth!" Indigo whispered.

"I can't...." she gasped. Water flooded in her mouth again. "Swim."

Indigo put her hand over Sunset's mouth. She held Sunset's arm.

"Kick with your legs," she hissed.

"I can't," she chocked out.

Indigo pulled her. She kicked out. "It's too strong. I can't swim out."

Sunset pushed her. "Then go."

"I'm not leaving you here. There has to be a way out."

"I'm scared," she whispered.

"Sunset, try to kick out. You can't just flounder there like a dead weight."

Indigo was getting upset.

Sunset's vision blurred again.

"Will you stop? I'm trying to keep you alive, not get us both killed!" she screamed.

Water gushed in her mouth. She started coughing.

"Indigo!" Sunset gasped.

She wrapped her arms around her friend, and pulled her up.

Sunset's head slammed into a chair leg.

Everything around her faded, and she passed out.

-

Sunset sat up. "The flood!" she screamed.

"It's ok, dear Sunset."

She turned.

It was Princess Luna.

"Why are you here?" she asked.

"I still walk in your dreams," she said. "I found a way to walk in these skys, and now I protect the dreams here. I saw you were having a bad dream, and I know I don't like doing this, but I'm going to wake you up."

Sunset smiled. "No, wait. Can you tell Celestia that I'm sorry?"

Luna nodded. "I will. Bye, Sunset."
