What Am I?

What am I? A mist of vapor,
A speck of dust, or a mark on a paper.
In comparison to the entity of all things,
I am not so grand, nor is any king.

For who, I ask, can be worthily compared
To the clouds that so easily rule the air?
Or who can conquer the colossal stars,
That dwarf Jupiter, let alone Mars.

So I present that we are not so grand,
Nor have we made ourselves by our own hand.
Who, by his own thought, can make himself grow?
Or can command the clouds to let down snow?

Now, may I present that God, the King,
Made this whole world,everything,
From the minuscule to the majestic,
From the minute to the magnificent.

All around His works are plain to see.
And though He created all of these,
He still has enough time for me
And went all the way to Calvary.

"So what are you?" You may think.
I'm a child of the King, not a missing link.

**************************

If you haven't guessed, I'm a Christian. And there's more to that than you think. Please just read the poem and listen to its meaning. So many people are searching for an identity. What place do I have in this life? Well, this is my place. And I hope you find yours.
