Every Paw Patrol episode of season two reviewed in ten words or less

Sonicbronyuniversez: Hello everyone; I'm back with the next Every blank in ten words or less. This time I'll be giving you season two of Paw Patrol. Since I got a kick out of watching through season one again, I'm more than willing to see what season two has to offer for me. Just keep in mind that I'm starting this off after I wrote the first four chapters of my own story, Paw Patrol X: The Hearts of Truth, so it could seem a little slow, but I'm usually slow on these things anyway, so it likely won't be that big of a deal. (Taps his watch and it beeps) Paw Patrol, to the lookout!

Sonicbronyuniversez: And as you all know from when I did this with the first season, I'll be ranking my top five least favorite, and favorite episodes, starting with the worst because fuck ending on a salty note unless you're a so bad it's good story. Anyway, let's head on to it.

Bottom five

Number five: Pups Save the Corn Roast

Words: Now I think it's pretty obvious that I like this episode, judging by it's rating. I just felt it was lacking in certain areas. Particularly with Skye. Her plot about the dance thing doesn't go for shit, and true it's Skye so I'll love her anyway, but I wish the episode did more with that. I guess that's the pain with having an eleven minute time frame. Still, I can't call this an episode that's meh, or even average, because it's still entertaining in most areas. Maybe in the future we'll get an episode like this but better, and doesn't have scenes lead to nothing, without any context.

Number four: Pups Save the Parrot

Words: I didn't expect much when I considered Carlos to be a tolerable character, and nothing more. He just doesn't spark with me in the same way Jake did. In spite of that, I did like seeing the pups try to defend the baby parrot, showing that eagles can fuck right off if they try to kill an innocent child. So, yeah. I went into this episode expecting it to be okay, and that's what it was. Okay. But even then, it's still entertaining by quality children show standards, and I won't hold it against those who like it. And it's at least consistant with it's execution. Unlike another episode.

Number three: Pups Save the Herd

Words: This episode is a clear rehash of Pups Fight Fire, but it doesn't just get it's rating because of that. Chase in the beginning does act a tad bit out of character intelligence wise by trying to herd stuff that won't even help him practice for SHEEP herding. Which is understandable since he's nervous, but seeing him sulk for something that wasn't even his fault is just utterly pathetic. The reason it works with Amethyst in Steven Universe is because she finds ways to make herself stay positive, which is why I like the episode Tiger Millionare. But Chase just...doesn't. At all.

Number two: Pups Save an Adventure

Words: More like bait for Alex haters to bitch. And if this were an adult episode, I think that'd be the title. While the episode isn't bad, I can't deny that it's title is somewhat misleading. There's almost no adventure to be had, and the episode just focuses on Alex gettng a badge. This would've been fine if the title was different, but I expected adventure. Not boring ass filler. Don't get me wrong; I'm all for teaching kids about fire safety. But it should've been called Pups Fire Safety Lesson. I didn't expect it to be Adventure time, but I DID expect actual fucking adventure.

Number one: Pups Save a Sniffle

Words: This episode is retarded. Plain and simple. I'm fine with the pups getting sick, in fact that made for a pretty interesting conflict in Pups Save a Show, where Marshall has to get over his stage fright to do Chase's part. But here it comes right the fuck out of nowhere for most of them. It just happens and nothing else. I also found it weak how Marshall told the lesson at the end of the episode, which if he knew, it was a dick move to hide it. It also felt like a blatant slap in the face to even think that it would've been a smart move. Ah well. At least Alex was entertaining.

Top five

Number five: Pups Save a Show

Words: As I said when I spoke about Pups Save a Sniffle, this is how you use the sickness trope correctly. Have it do something for the plot, rather than it BE the plot. Marshall once again comes as a relatable being with his stage fright coming into play and him having to overcome it to do the role Chase can't do. Also, I fucking love how willing Rocky was to just scratch his ass in front of a crowd. I know they didn't mind it, and he used his claw, but it was still out of nowhere in an awesome way. Really shows him being the dirty one of the group, and I can't ignore that.

Number four: Pups Save an Eagle

Words: Skye is among her best in this episode. Overcoming her fears to free a trapped creature truly does show her quirky and genki yet caring nature that I adore from her. She has bravery that more non-tomboy female main characters need and she more than shows her worth. She also has this one relatable moment where she's chowing down on food and watching Tv. I can totally relate to that and I'm a teenage boy, so that should give plenty of context on how much I love her and came to care about her. She's not just a pup with a jetpack. She's full of heart.

Number three: Pups Save a Wedding

Words: The premise alone could've made me like this episode, but Farmer Yumi and Farmer Al were more than entertaining enough to get this episode up to the top three. And the situation is relatable and the fear is real. This isn't just an average every day job for the Paw Patrol, or one of Rubble's dreams. This is a real life event that's meant to be the most important day of someone's life, and the hope that it will go right. I want to see these two farmers happy because I know how important weddings are. Still, I had to debunk a point for kiss censors. Fuck that.

Number two: Pups Save an Ace

Words: Skye, who gave you the right to be as adorable as fuck!? This episode shows you at your best full circle! Marshall may be my favorite in the show, but episodes like this are why you were my favorite in this season in particular. You show perfectly how excited one can get to meet their idol and you don't fall into the psycho stereotype that some would expect. You're completely the same all throughout, and you succeed at your job the entire way. You're awesome Skye. Never chance. Also, props for making Ace likable. She's more than relatable enough for me to like.

Number one: The New Pup

Words: I think it would surprise no one when I say this is my favorite episode of the show. I bet the team was saying, "Fuck! We need a new character to stay relevant.". Except they don't just expect you to assume Everest existed from the start. They actually make you give a crap about her before she even joins the team. Her episode gives entertainment for all of the characters and makes it even more rewarding for her after she shows her skills, shows how she loves saving people, and joins the Paw Patrol. My brain says number two, but my heart says number one.

Sonicbronyuniversez pops up to speak with the audience while sitting in a chair.

Sonicbronyuniversez: Hope you enjoyed dudes. Sorry this didn't come out when it should've. After Christmas I just wanted to chillax and play video games all winter break. But since school's coming back for me in three days, I might as well have finished this so I could get to the next show I wanna do a ten words or less on. Or should I say...

Sonicbronyuniversez lifts his leg and cuts a five second biscuts and gravy fart, making a green cloud appear and reveal Attack on Titan.

Sonicbronyuniversez: Anime.
