There's a drawer in the wall.

I've tugged and yanked and pulled, but it doesn't open.

It makes me wonder what could possibly be in there. Why would somebody make a drawer then seal it up? What of it was cursed to never open? If a prince from a far off land show up at my door one day looking for an antidote to save his queen, it would surely be in that drawer. How could I possibly tell him it had never opened and probably wouldn't ever?

Though if he were actually the evil twin brother of the good prince it might be a good thing the drawer never opened. It could be poison instead of a cure. How would one know?

What if it's a letter from the future? What if my great-great-great-great-great grandchild wanted to say hello, so they wrote me a letter knowing it's the fashion of the time, then sealed it in a drawer that would only open for me. I just had to figure out how to open it. It would be a real let down for them I'm afraid.

Or it could be a portal to another world, and once I reach my next birthday it will pop open and I will be taken back to my birth parents and crowned the next ruler of Zokk. What if I'm not a good leader and I sent my kingdom in chaos? Perhaps I will wait until I'm a bit older.

Wait, what's that?

It's a light switch that doesn't turn on.

I'm not joking, there is a drawer in my house that doesn't open. This is literally how my thought line went for the next few seconds post discovery.
