Chapter. 2

Lucifer's heels click on the sidewalk as she walked through town. It was still dark and everyone was either inside their warm homes or at the bar getting piss-poor-drunk. She, on the other hand, was searching for some clues as to where this Vargulf could be.

It had been a day since she had been taken from Hell and placed on earth. She didn't complain at all. Luci didn't have to judge anyone and keep them in their cages. In a sense you could say that she was a zoo keeper of the souls who were dangerous. Yeah. That's the best way she can explain that shit. Lucifer was enjoying the midnight air and her Hellhound, Hades, followed close behind. He was panting after the five hour walk they had.

Hades barks at her and she turned to slightly glare. "You can hunt a man three states away from where you are and your complaining about the walk?" She asked as she crossed her arms across her chest. Hades whined and looked down at the ground. "Fine. Let's pay Olivia a visit." With the wave of her hand black and red smoke covered her body and Hades.

When the smoke cleared she was gone. Leaving nothing behind but the smell of her perfume and the sense of determination hanging in the dark thick air.

When Lucifer had ended up in the Godfrey house she was surprised at how gloomy this place was. It was like the Adams family lived here.

Lucifer sighed and turned her head to the living room where Olivia sat looking out the window with a glass of wine in her hand. She seemed to be in deep thought. Probably thinking about the good old days. When Roman wasn't such an ass hole.

Lucifer couldn't care less if she was crying
She walked over as silently as she could. It worked, for Olivia was startled when Luci says, "It's a little late for a drink, Liv." Olivia thought she would never hear that voice again. That same voice that was their when she woke up a few nights. Especially after her husband died. But they both know the real story.

After the deal was off when Roman turned sixteen she was glad she didn't have to see her again. But she was wrong. In the back of her mind she did know that somehow Lucifer was going to find her way back on earth. It was only a matter of time before she made a new deal. Or their to collect her soul.

"Well it is happy hour." Olivia says smiling softly. Lucifer smirked and leaned on the other side of the window. "How did you get back?" She asked hesitantly. Olivia was afraid Lucifer might not tell her. Lucifer had a few of those days where she would come home and not tell Liv a single thing. Only the stain of blood or a new toy she brought back. Not a single explanation.

Lucifer smirked and turned to look at her. "Oh. Your son and his friend. It seems they need help finding this Vargulf. Such a shame I have to do some work on my vacation away from Home." Olivia chuckled and walked over to the bar to get her friend a drink. "How is the rich life? Now that J.R. is gone. It seems you have everything you ever wanted." Olivia sighed and gave Luci a glass of red wine. Or what looked like red wine.

Lucifer sniffed the 'wine' and smirked. Taking a sip she smiled as her red lipstick had stained the glass. Now leaving evidence that she was here. She always made sure she was seen in some little way.

"I never wanted J.R. gone. You know that Luci." Lucifer chuckled and placed her glass down. With her perfectly pained nails she dragged them across the white leather couch and leaned down to Olivia's ear.

"You did. Deep down in your coal, hard, dark, heart he couldn't treat you the same way Norman does. That's why you killed J.R. So you could be with me." Lucifer stood up straight and walked in front of Olivia. She leaned on the couch and smirked as her face was very close to Olivia's "I remember you were curious and adventurous. Gosh. Your screams made me so happy. I did something right." Lucifer hand caressed Olivia's cheek.

Olivia slapped her hand away and glared. "I was drunk and I didn't know you can change your appearance. You weren't even that good." Lucifer smirked and pulled away. Her red eyes flickering with lust.

"Well that's not what you said when you screamed my name so loudly the Neighbors yelled at us to keep it down." She says and licked her lips remembering that night. "Then again. I am what most people call a slut. So don't feel too bad Liv. You are very good in the art of pleasure." Hades jumped on the chair and took a nap as Lucifer talked with Olivia.

"Only someone out of there right mind would sleep with you." Olivia's words were dripping with venom. It hurt Lucifer but she didn't show it. She couldn't let her feelings show. But that didn't stop Lucifer from saying,

"So then you are psychotic for sleeping with the devil. Trust me. Some things just burn forever. It will take a long time before the fire burns out." Lucifer's smirk turned into a smile as she looked at her.

"You are sick." Olivia growled out and finished her glass. She was now ready for bed and Roman hadn't come home yet. She was worried. Always worried for a boy who used to care so much for her. But now cares very little knowing what his mother does and what she is. He only cared about Shelley.

"Oh, Olivia. I'm like walking Heroin, very habit forming. It never ends well. For anyone." Luci says downing her glass. Olivia glared hard as she stood up. She tried to be threatening. But it didn't work out so well considering Lucifer was smiling even brighter at Olivia's sexy villainous look.

"Was that a threat?" Olivia stepped close to Lucifer and her nails dig into her palms as she got angry by the second. Lucifer smelled the blood dripping from her hands and took her hands carefully into hers. Olivia was breaking and her time is almost up. She was about to die soon. So Lucifer was going to do what she does best. Intimidate and break things. Oh, how she loves to break broken people.

"I would never threaten a good friend of mine. Especially one who has done so much for me. For sixteen years, my dear, you have given me a family." Lucifer pushed Olivia's hair back and Olivia fell into her touch. "Plus, I think you might want to get some leftovers later." Lucifer smirked and Olivia's eyes snapped open. Of course she had to ruin the moment. Lucifer always did that.

"You're an ass." She smirked at her friend and Lucifer giggled. She was amused at what she could make people say or do. It was funny to her. A little game.

"I am what you want me to be Liv." With that Lucifer was gone with the wave of her hand. Hades was excided to go do something now. The dog was satisfied with his break.

Olivia knew that Lucifer was going to go find Roman. She had a protective side to her that made Olivia nervous to what was to come to her son and the devil. She knew it was nothing good. Nothing ever good comes from the devil.

°°°

"You know." Lucifer voice ran out in the pool room. Roman jumped hearing her voice and turned around quickly. "This is actually a place I took you when you were only five." Lucifer's heels click on the concrete. The room was a dark blue and a bright neon sigh that had said Hello there. But the O and T doesn't work. So it said, hell here. Lucifer did that one on purpose.

Lucifer had taken Roman here when he was five to learn to swim. He failed a few times but Lucifer told him he could conquer the art of swimming. Roman could do anything. She wasn't going to allow him to be like the other humans. Helpless and stupid. But now since it was fall the pool was closed. Leaving the memories just that. A memory.

"How did you know I was here?" Roman asked and Lucifer smiled. She has her ways. But she also is the queen of basically every soul. She also felt a connection to Roman.

"I know everything dear." Lucifer was walking over to him but Roman began to walk and now they were going in a circle. "I know that you are quiet the player. I guess that is partly my fault." She says looking at her nails. They were going to need to be fixed soon. But she wasn't wrong. Lucifer rubbed off on Roman so much he could be the male copy of her. That's what happens when you raise someone from a baby.

Roman watched as her red heels dragged on the concrete. Her black leather thigh skirt rubbing on her thighs keeping them warm against the cool air. Her top matched her skirt and was cut to make it look like a crop top. Her glasses were hanging off her purse that she had placed on the chair.

"Tell me, Roman," Lucifer waved her hand and was now in front of him. He was freaked out as she had her red eyes on his green ones. "Why is it that you fuck all the girls in town?" He seemed so entranced in her eyes that he felt like he could tell her everything. And he did. It just came out so naturally.

"Their blood. They taste sweet." Roman says and snaps out of the trance. He had no idea why he said that. He was shocked.

Lucifer smirked and snapped her fingers. A blade had showed up in her hands. Luci looked up at Roman and gently placed the blade on her wrist. Then slowly she cut her olive skin. He stared at it for a bit.

Beads of blood began to pour out and Roman was fixated on it. Lucifer smirked knowing fully well that he was close to becoming an Upir. It was only a matter of time. All he needs is a push. One his mother, unfortunately, will do to him.

Roman grabbed her arm quickly and placed his lips on her wrist sucking the blood off. His eyelashes fluttered closed as he tasted her. Such a sweet sight for Lucifer to see. Roman moaned as his mouth sucked her blood up. Lucifer then felt her lower parts throb as he sucked more. His moan was so delicious.

Lucifer's blood was thicker then humans and way sweeter. It was like candy. That's how she got baby Roman to stop crying. He was just hungry. Olivia spent all night crying. She tried to find out what was wrong with him. But Lucifer got it in a second. All he needed was her blood.

Romans eyes snapped open and he looked at Lucifer who was unfazed by his reaction. She had a soft smile on her lips as he bit down. "I know you better then you know yourself." Roman pulled away. Blood dropped from his mouth down his lips to his chin. Lucifer pulled a tissue out and held it to him. He grabbed it and wiped her blood from his face. "If you need anything Roman, just know I am always here." Lucifer smiles a genuine smile and then was gone again. Her purse and Dog had left with her.

Leaving behind Roman who still had the taste of her blood in the back of his throat. Burning for more. He wanted more of her. And not just her blood. He wanted her. He was confused as to why Lucifer was so irresistible. She was like a drug. But like Luci said to Olivia. She was Heroin and it will get bad after many uses. It was only a matter of time before everyone gets sick from her.
