That's not how it started. Amara Sinclair used to be good at keeping promises. so was Natasha Romanoff. Enchanted at first sight, two lovers find solace in each other's arms quickly. The world not yet messy with superheroes more than it needed, there was enough time for hoping for love. Hoping for promises to be kept.

SOMETIMES, PEOPLE HOPE FOR MORE THAN THEY'RE ALLOWED. Natasha Romanoff couldn't dare have everything she wanted; because what kind of monster would ask for a happy ending and get it without any roadblocks? But Amara Sinclair was enough. They were enough.

They were enough for a long time. they were enough from 2003 to 2012, they were enough with one more person starting in 2006, and here becomes a new chapter.

SOMETIMES, LIVES DON'T GO EXACTLY AS PLANNED. and Natasha hoped she would get evermore with Amara, and she usually planned to be disappointed. Not here, not like this, when the one thing she loved more than anything was gone without saying goodbye. She had a bad feeling about that day from the start. Why couldn't it have been her? It was a question that ran through her mind for ages.

But we won't get there for a while. We start where all good stories should, at the beginning. With starry eyes and no perception of what is to come, we will open the curtain in France, 2003. That doesn't mean we can forget what will happen next, just because our dear girls don't know doesn't;t mean that we forget. pain like this is meant to be EVERMORE.
