Knock knock.

My eyes flickered open. My head felt heavy. All I could see was plain white.

Suddenly, a vast array of lights shown over me as a bunch of blurred out people wearing light blue came into my sight. They had a mask over their faces.

"Miss Talwar, how are you feeling now?"

What? Why on earth am I in hospital?

I tried to sit up but a sharp pain in my shoulder made me collapse down on the bed.

"Ouch." My eyes closed tightly together for a second.

"Stay lying down for a while, just as Mr Kabir signs your discharge papers." The doctor said, filling out a paper and going towards the door.

"W-what?" I asked, stuttering unusually. "Who is Mr Kabir? Please call my parents."

I saw the doctor stiffen and dissolve into a smile. "Never mind about that Miss Talwar, please have your medicine."

"Why?! There's nothing wrong with me! Why are you giving me this!? Let me go!"

I tried freeing myself from the grips of the injections tugged into the veins in my hands.

"Miss Talwar, please....."

My movement stopped abruptly as I saw a man walk through the door rapid as a bullet.

"Naina, Naina! Oh my God." He scurried up to me and started hugging me with tears flushing down his face.

Um.

Okay so, first I land up in this hospital bed feeling all weird and then this crazy guy comes and hugs me?

What the hell?
