Neptune's POV
I woke up on ♆. I took in my surroundings, my eyes darting around. I saw something, it's moved calculated. I twisted my head around, sitting up at I did so. I immediately groaned out in pain. "Agh- ngh!" I grabbed my neck, it sendings waves of excruciating pain through my body. But it only lasted for 47 seconds.

What ever that thing was heard me, and ran, probably for it's life. "You should be." I grumbled. I stood to my feet, chasing that creature and thrusting whatever I could find at it with my fingers. It fell into a crater near the side of ♆ that was facing ♇. "Odd."

I conjured a forcefield over it's hiding dent, making sure it couldn't come out. I felt a sharp pain in my lower ribcage. 'The cheeky bastard is drilling into ♆.' I thought to myself. I added more pressure to the force field. It was a standoffish scenario, with whoever being the last man standing probably walking away with their life, the other dead.

I got even closer to the thing, only to discover it was a Juno. A baby at that. I got rid of the forcefield and dropped to my knees. "K'o uqtta dcda lwpm. K fkdp'v ugg aqwt nkijv." I say, apologizing for my behavior. It nods in response and kisses me on the forehead, forgiving me. It then vanished. It was true what people said. 'They really are just here for a glimmer of time, so treat them with kindness. You never know when they'll be back.'

I look in ♇'s direction, curious. I fly over, examining it with care. It seems very fragile, parts of it seeming to squirm when I touch it. "Hmm." Is it deteriorating and I'm making it worse? I lay a thin ice sheet over a small part of ♇, buy it didn't squirm. I sighed in relief. Besides that, everything seemed fine.

That was until I found the part that was facing away from the sun. It was pitch black. I brought a ball of light to my palm to see if it was just darkness. But it wasn't. ♇ was really crumbling away. I placed a thick sheet of ice over the black part, making the places where it ended go slightly into the planet.

"It hurts baby I know." I said, rubbing the planet. I had to preserve her planet. She- we haven't made a nebula yet, so if this planet gets hurt, she will too. I can't really help her, since she probably doesn't want me around right now, but I couldn't lose her again. No one would take care of her. But one name did come to mind.

Mars.

Oooh I just love l o v e love ending chapters with his name. I just think it's a nice finish. What Neptune said to the baby Juno was not gibberish. It's in a code (I think) I made up. Here the code is, but for your information, he says "I'm sorry baby Juno. I didn't see your light." Top row in regular English, and bottom row in in what I call "Jeenie"
