King Jason

King Jason was a kind and thoughtful ruler. He ran the kingdom with his people in mind all the time. He treated his kids with great respect and love. Particularly the Crowned Prince Jaron, who was by his father's side most of his childhood, learning the ways of the great ruler. The King had started to become gravely ill 3 years previously, affecting his muscles and abilities to move. The king was bedridden and hasn't been out of bed in years. In the most recent year his memory began failing him to the point where he sonetimes doesn't remember his children's names.

Queen Ellen

Queen Ellen was once a quiet and kind Queen, tending to her children with love and consideration. However when her husband fell ill and he didn't recognize her, she fell in dispare, pushing everyone away. She didn't want to have that kind of pain again, so she hardened herself. She took over running the kingdom, having no real time for her children anymore, and tried to rule like King Jason did. Ellen does everything she can for her children, however because of distancing herself, she cause the tension between herself and her children. And because she wants what's best for them, she comes off very forceful. Jaron has many tensions with his mother.
