Chapter IV: "Because Flesh Tastes Better Than Bacon Soup"

Chapter's theme:

[Gospel of Dismay (Bendy and the Ink Machine Chapter 2 song) - by DA Games]

~

As he sees Dinah attacking the nightguard and pinning him onto the nearest wall with an incredible force, his innards are screaming in order to move and stop the Devil right now, before she can kill for the first time a human, but oddly, the demon resists to the call, and keeps looking at her lesser actions, through one of his cut outs.

"Some said that my eyes are the last thing you see before you die. Wanna try?" she says.

Her deep laugh echoes into the long and dark hallways. Bendy can only see her back, and he only sees as she lifts her arm toward her face.

Maybe she's lifting the ink curtain she has, like him, on the face. But why she has to do that? For his part, he can see very well, even with that ink all over his face.

Dinah the Devil was always that mysterious and enigmatic. When she kept haunting his beautiful days within the animations, she was the kind of villain that is taciturn, her look always indescribable, with that mystery behind those cartoon black pie-cuted eyes. But she seems even more enigmatic as she's transformed by the Ink Machine.

For sure, it wasn't a good thing for her. Bendy saw as Joey was always looking at Claire with envy and desire to possess her, to be his only toy and wife...

Joey waved to me so that I could follow him through the corridor, following him toward an ajar door, sounds of a voice that sings gently and water rushing escaping the little bright ajar space.

Joey hurries up in order to look by the open space of the door, his tongue licking his lips, like a tiger ready to strike his victim.

"This is a real woman, Bendy," whispers Joey. "Soon she will be mine... So mine..."

As I didin't really know what he's talking about, his grand hand wrapped my shoulder, and he pulled my inky body right by his side, making me seeing through the opening.

Right in front of my eyes, the beautiful woman got out of the steamy shower, a purple short towel around her chest and butt, covering not so much, as pearls of water ran on her skin, along her thights with the rest of her legs, her long arms, and the top of her chest. Her curly brown hair is embraced by itself with a well decorated and amberish hair clip, a bit messy with all that water it was rinsed into.

As she bended a bit in order to search for some clothes into her drawers, her towel practically fell onto the ground, her hand grabbing quickly the short piece of tissue that left her naked under it, before it really fell.

But suddenly, a dark figure appears from the shadows, as the beautiful woman isn't looking around her, and then wraps its arms around her waist, causing her to jump around them. She slightly sighs, and turns around to look into the eyes that can only appears to belong to Sammy Lawrence.

"Hey... Stop scaring me to death, I don't need that right now, you know it." she claimed.
"Yea, but I like it when you jump, my little sheep." his husky voice pronounced, his hands stroking the back of her thights, before lifting his touch under her wet towel, making her gasp and blush.

No, wait? Sammy Lawrence? Seriously? Didn't she hate him? I thought so, she wasn't talking to him, and when he was trying to pay attention from her, she would reply with dryness into her delicate voice.

Turning a bit my head by the sound of muffled noises, I saw a new Joey. Green with envy, his hand was on his mouth, his now narrowed eyes piercing whatever he was looking at into the empty space. He had retreates to the nearest wall, a bit of his sickning grin could be seen, even with his hand.

Joey suddenly got up without any noise, and walked very fast, in order to, I supposed, escape that vision of the horror, for him. (Sorry, let the author take a bite into her frozen Twix, it'll take just a moment. Ah, here we go 😁)

I soon walked away from that opened door, the opposite direction of Joey's, disappearing soon into a dark ink puddle.

With that memory and tons he has in store, Bendy can say that Joey is a big dick and an horrible man. The most horrible man he had ever met.

But when that cartoon villain came from that technology womb, just like him, Bendy saw instantly the fear into her eyes, even if she has tried to hide it. And when she, inconciously, ran into his arms so that she could find some comfort.

Oh her face when she realized that it was just one of Joey's puppet that she was hugging. That face would always haunt Bendy's mind. A mix between horror and a terrible fright, an indescribable expression, but it gave goosebumps.

Fortunatly, she's a bit less wild. Yesterday, she even let him approach her, and learn her sime tricks with that ink they recieved. It's a benediction for Bendy, to have this incredible power. He's so powerful, and Dinah can be as powerful as him one day.

For once, her smile seemed real, with joy graved in, as she tried and succeeded to teleport herself with the ink puddles, control the ink with the hollow of her naked dark big hand, and call some minions, somewhat nicer and completely different than his.

They sat cross-legged onto the wooden floor, not so far, one in front of the other. Bendy felt a connection between the two of them, as his look would always be lost in the gorgeous and ink running curtain on her face.

Wait... Is he... Nevermind, she's just a Devil, Dinah the Devil, the one he should keep an eye on it, preventing her from harming Joey or other workers of the studio, as an order Joey gave him. He's simply Bendy the Dancing Demon, the best, the most beautiful demon ever, the sexiest inky man every chick could ever imagine. (Oh Bendy loves to say that kind of things, we believes he can attract, like flies on a cow's ass, dozens of girls in his bed😂).

Absorbed within his toughts, he soon realizes that Dinah disappeared. A low groan escapes his ajar inky lips, and he turns around, resuming walking in the darkest part of the corridor, walking without any idea of where to go.

~

What can he do so that she can trust him? Bendy tries to think about it, if she trusts him, she'll know how to live like a real ink demon into the studio. Joey will not consider her as someone to possess and someone dangerous, she'll be equal as Bendy. But will she accept that she'll never be the one who gives the orders? Certainly, Joey ordered him to convince Dinah to be one of Joey's toys, and a part of him don't want to and feels pitty toward the Devil.

The ink demon remembers how she used to like the taste of the power in the animations, when she gave orders to her minion, her only minion, Gargoylya.

Yes, Gargoylya. That cute little warrior was Dinah's friend and minion. That gargoyle used to make fun of him, with her extraordinary long spear, with a big upside down heart in silver with big thorns along it. Her white hair was gathered in a poneytail, the same black pie-cuted eyes and a simple line that represented her mouth. She had the power to transform herself into a statue and be invisible, and that was so cool!

Bendy suddenly stops in the reality, hearing faint muffled screams and breathings, accompanied by muffled dry ink sounds.

Everything stops within his inky body, as he looks at the door, one of the three doors Joey can't open in the hole studio. There's a human behind that door, he was sure.

Putting one of his hand onto the door, he liquefy his legs, abdomen, arms and head finally, in order to pass by the little space under the door, between the floor and the wooden locked door.

As soon as he successfully pass under it, he solidify his body yet, his same dark shape coming right back from the ink puddle he was. And his look rests immediatly onto the nightguard who was tied with ink restrains onto the wall by his hands, and his screams of horror are muffled by a messy dried thick ink stain upon his lips. His eyes reflected the horror when that innocent black ink puddle became a tall ink demon in no time.

Bendy then notices, on the man's chest, a note glued with some ink, well-written and a bit short text lies onto the paper. The Ink Demon decides to take the note and read it.

Hey,
Hope that this is better than the bacon soup, and the meat has run, that's for sure.

Lifting an inexistant eyebrows, he looks another time yet to the frightened guard in front of him. Did Dinah tied and catch this poor human in order to give it as a good feast for the demon? No way... But Bendy's not gonna let this occasion go away, as he immediatly jump onto the innocent prey.

~

"I can't describe that... WHO KILLED THE NIGHTGUARD, FOR GOODNESS SAKE ?" Joey asks as he shouts, his face getting redder by the minute, his fists tightening with the anger in him.

Bendy feels as his heart raced within his inky chest. He's the only one who did that, Dinah did not hurt the man, and he's gonna tell everything. He doesn't care of what Joey could do to him, if Dinah is spared and not hurt, it's okay. But before he could talk, Dinah forestalls him.

"It's me. I'm sorry, his lil' fleshy butt begged for me to take his insignificant soul, so I've hunted him like a little prey, then I killed him and ate him. His heart was delicious though." Dinah says innocently, her twisted grin getting bigger by the second.

Joey stops, gazing only at the Devil who's laughing softly. His eyes narrowed in a second, his anger making him shaking slightly. He then suddenly bursts and rush toward her, pinning her onto the floor, a dagger into one of his fists.

His two hands pushes the weapon as he tries to stab Dinah's chest and heart with his iron dagger, her inky arms trying to repels the man.

"YOU LITTLE BITCH! I SHOULDN'T HAVE THROW YOU IN THAT FUCKING MACHINE CLAIRE! I SHOULD JUST HAVE KEPT YOU WITH ME FOR ETERNITY!" shouts the man, straddling the Devil.
"Oh hey here! Calm down Joey! Let me go!" says Dinah, fright haunting her voice.
"NEVER! YOU TOOK SOMEONE I REALLY LIKED, YOU'RE GONNA PAY FOR THIS!"

Bendy keeps himseft in distance, looking with horror Dinah trying to save her life, repelling the weapon far from her inky chest.

Then all at once, she lets go of Joey's arms, and she does a gymnastic bridge in order to repel once and for all Joey from her. She does a headstand, and after her feet meet the ground another time yet, she looks as the brunette is standing up quickly, and she starts to rush into the corridor in an incredible speed.

"BENDY! STOP STANDING HERE LIKE A FUCKING STATUE! GO GET HER NOW! IT'S AN ORDER!"

These words immediately echoes within his demon head, making the world around him spinning like a quick top. Bendy does his best to control the last thoughts, keeping them in a part of his mind, and obeys Joey's whishes.

I'm so sorry, Dinah. I can't disobey him.

The Ink Demon quickly starts his rush, and soon sees the vague shape of the Inky Devil.

Lost within her mind, Dinah stops immediatly.

Here. Don't move Dinah.

What was that voice inside her head? Why the Hell she said to her to stop as the Ink Demon is right behind her? His steps can be heard, with these calling voices, claming something she can't even hear, even with her sensible non-existant ears.

She doesn't dare try to turn around or move, her hair moving oddly by a growing breeze, which seems to come from nowhere.

His loud steps getting louder, the inky Dinah can't even hold her shivers for what will happen to her, and her tears, her ink running faster on her body. Her little sobs are echoing into the long hallway, his steps getting louder and louder.

Please... Someone help me... Something... I can't move anymore...

Her sobs are getting louder, the Ink Demon slowing his speed, seeing her in the plain center of the corridor, her shape shaking.

Approaching slowly, Bendy then sees multiple white flashes, and after a loud roar of surprise, a darker corridor can be seen. In the middle of it, instead of Dinah, a human stand there.

It's Claire. He knows it.

She suddenly turns around, facing the terrible Ink Demon, her transparents eyes looking at where his eyes should be, the same transparent eyes she had when her corpse got out of Dinah's ink.

"You. Why didn't you save me when there were still hope? Didn't Sammy trusted you? I was his soulmate, and he was mine... Why did you have to just witness what happened, instead of ripping me from his filthy hands? Yes! I know WHAT happened, I saw you getting frightened, like a fucking coward! Why did the first time I saw you I had to be scared, if you're just a big asshole!" she roars with extreme anger in her beautiful voice, but sill calm at the same time.

"... I... Am... So sorry... Claire... "

Her silence encases the corridor for a few seconds, her blind gaze looking yet into his eyes.

"Then you shouldn't have done that."

Suddenly, the young dead woman disappears, in order to let the reality take place again, Dinah the Devil now faces Bendy, her breathing getting quicker.

Why isn't he moving too? As she asks this to herself, she feels as her iny legs can rush again, the capacity for her to move has come in an instant. As fast as she could move again, Dinah turns around quickly and run faster than before, letting Bendy as his own, all alone into the dark corridor.

The Devil, always running at the same speed, opens her door with her ink, and quickly crosses the little room, and takes another hallway, turning to the right. As she runs, she can see that the hallway finally stops with a dead end, a white wall. Maybe she could try to cross this wall with an ink portal, she thinks.

As his steps are getting louder, a wild roar echoes within the corridor, making her ink shiver from the powerful sound. But before she can come back from her thoughts, the wooden planks starts to creak louder, until a dozen breaks under and in front of her rushing feet.

Then a black big hole appears under her, menacing with all his horrible darkness and the screams of the black ink he surely contains, with the sounds of the wooden planks that fall and hit something at the end, a few meters lower.

Knowing exactly what's gonna happen to her, she doesn't even care to look under her. When she'll die, she's gonna die like a real warrior. She knows that her end is so soon and so near, the ink calling, menacing her poor human soul and her thick ink. Turning around quickly, her heart pounding like crazy into her chest, her breathing missing, as she looks for the last time at the Ink Demon, Bendy the Dancing Demon, his toothy mouth opening in a big scream of desesperation and a remarkable rebellion against the destiny that waits her in a few seconds.

He tries to lift his arm in order to send some ink so that Dinah can get out of this hole without a scratch, but too late, her body quickly dispappears in the thick darkness behind her, a gasp and a little scream escaping her mouth before Bendy couldn't see her again... Alive.

Two seconds later, an horrible squishy sound comes to Bendy, with a low and loud at the same time roar then scream, muffled quickly by ink into her throat, maybe, accompagnied now with a great silence and ink droplets pouring on the floor.

His smile instantly distorted into an extreme anger and infinite sad smile onto his face, where ink is rushing and pouring on the floor like a waterfall. What else to do now? His body is shaking like crazy, nervous giggles and low sobs escaping his throat. His wicked smile then turned into a sad expression, his arms falling onto his sides, a small sigh fleeing his bare ajar inky lips.

Bendy liquefies his ink body, crossing the wooden planks under him, landing soon onto the yellow wooden planks of another room.

What's in front of his look, he cannot believe it, not now.

The sigh of broken wooden planks offers just in front of his eyes. To improve this lonely mess, the dead corpse of the Devil hangs on one of them at the top, the plank crossing her chest from behind it, where her heart is. Was, actually, at the tip of this broken piece of old wood, hangs a complete dark inky heart, which has now stopped beating, ink still dripping from it. To add some details, as her head was bend back, her ink curtain isn't covering anymore her right eye, her dark pie-cutted eye, like in the shows, the same damn eye, where hallways of inky tears tainted her white cheek.

He can move anymore. This view is just... Horrible. Her thick dark ink still drip from her wound, her smile, similar to Bendy, is upside down. Her hair, grey before, is now tainted by the own ink.

Bendy collapses onto his knees, his hands reaching on his sides the floor, his jaw tightening as he tries to hold back any roar and occasionally tears.

Why did she have to end like this? Wasn't she the proof that even the Devil can change into a pure Angel? She didn't treat me like a monster, but like a friend.

Poor Bendy, wipe your tears, my dear, this is just the beginning. ~
