How it works:

You are required to read & comment on 2 chapters of the book of the month plus 2 chapters of books of your choice.

The book of the month will be whoever gets the most points.

Scoring System: (& rules for those types of scores)

Book of the month: 15 points per chapter

You are required to read at least 2 chapters of the book of the month (you must comment at least once)

EvenStar books: (people with 50+ points) 10 points per chapter

Star books: (people who fulfilled the requirements, but whose books weren't read the previous month) 7 points per chapter

(If your book isn't read within 3 months, I will add it as a second book of the month)

Read for reads (there will be a section for this): 5 points per chapter

(If you don't complete an accepted read for read, you will be put on hold the next month even if you completed all other assignments)

All other books: 3 points per chapter

Casual comments: 1/2 point per sentence

Constructive criticism: 1 point per comment

Review: +20 points

(A review can be posted in your review book, please tag me & the author, and please state that you did a review in the reports)

Art/graphics/video edits: +25 points

This would be art or graphics for another member's book. Please post it in one of your books on wattpad and tag both me and the author to the chapter.

Contests: 10 points for entering/10 points per chapter for judging

This wouldn't be every month, but once in a while there will be contests for specific genres or categories.

Writing challenges: 10 points per chapter you write/10 points per chapter you judge

Every once in a while, there might be a writing challenge to make things fun!

Rules:

- notify me as soon as possible if you change your book title or username, or if you're planning on deleting your book or your account

- if you don't complete your assignment, you will be put on hold the following month (which means that you're book won't be added to the list until you've completed your assignment)

- all genres are allowed, including art books, this book club is great for readers, writers, artists, graphic designers and reviewers alike

- mature books are allowed, but you have to state that they are mature and why

- if your book makes it as the book of the month and it is mature or LGBT, I will have a second book as the book of the month for people who don't feel comfortable reading those things. I'm not comfortable reading certain things and I won't force anyone to read something they're not comfortable with.

- please report what you read in the report section of each chapter. Be sure to tag the writer so they'll see the comment. Please include which chapters you read as well as how many comments you left.

- if someone tags you in a report, please verify that they did read & comment on your story. (If an author doesn't verify by the end of the month I will check the chapter myself)

- don't pressure anyone into a read for read, they have the right to decline.

- the whole password thing confused 50% of the people that joined my last book club, so instead just comment your favorite book here to prove that you read the rules.

- follow me, I will follow back

- post an announcement with a link to this book to help spread the word

- add this book to your library and reading list

- don't be rude to me or the other members
