The Stay

Mr.Vikram finally composed himself after a mini laughter session and spoke up,"Don't worry boy I will call you Shivaay from now on!"

Shivaay was thankful when he heard this.
"Sir..." He was about to continue when Vikram spoke again,"You are not in office Shivaay!"
"Okay....u..un..." Shivaay stuttered still hesitating.
"

Uncle?" Anika said finishing the same smiling brightly at her colleague.
"I was about to say that!" He said smiling lightly.

Soon they finished their breakfast and it was time for them to leave Delhi as their flight was at 11.00 AM that day. Not only Anika but also Shivaay was disheartened to leave Mr.Vikram. They didn't know what was stopping them from leaving. They felt they have become so close to Vikram in a very short span of time.

Vikram was nowhere to be seen as Anika and Shivaay came out of the rooms with their luggage.
Shivaay asked,"Where is uncle?" when she replied,"Let's check in his room!"

They didn't find him in his room nor in any other area. There was just one room left which they didn't check till then. As they were about to go check out that room, Vikram came out of it with blood shot eyes.

Anika and Shivaay asked in unison, "Are you fine uncle?" To which Vikram nodded in positive without uttering a word. Outside the mansion, Anika hugged Vikram and so did he reciprocate to her. A tear fell from her eye and she didn't know the sole reason for it to drop out of her eye.

"I will miss you uncle! And my Aloo Poori too!" She said trying to smile a bit when Vikram said, "Will miss you too beta!"

Soon they left bidding a bye to him. In the Airport, Anika was so silent that Shivaay couldn't bear her silence. He asked very much concerned, "Are you fine Anika?"

"Mm." she uttered not reacting much.
"Shall I get something to eat?" Shivaay asked her again when she replied the same answer,"Mm..."

Not understanding her "Mm" game, he left to get something for her. While Anika was in her own world thinking about things happening in her life. She was feeling satisfied and happy that day, she didn't know why but at the same time she felt sad as if she left a part of her life.

Shivaay came back with burgers and coke for each of them. As they were eating, Shivaay asked "Did you like it Anika?"
"Mm but not better than the Aloo Puri uncle made!" She said. Then did Shivaay understand what went wrong with her.
"Anika it's okay! We'll come back and meet him some day. He's anyway our boss!" He said lightning her mood.
"Hope we meet him soon!" She said smiling with some hope.

"Have some Coke!" saying Shivaay offered her coke when Anika said,"No Shivaay, I usually don't have cool drinks"
"What!" He asked too shocked when she said chuckling,"Don't overreact! I don't like it"
"Oh no!" He groaned when she asked him,"What happened?"
"I should drink all of that Coke now!" He said fake crying.
"Such a drama queen you are" she chuckled.

Soon they boarded the flight to get back to Mumbai, but the flight took a halt at Goa due to bad weather.

"Oh God! We have to report in Mumbai around evening" Shivaay groaned very much tensed.
"Don't worry. We'll inform them we got stuck here" Anika said calming him down. Soon they took permission from Daksh, their manager whose voice sounded very much irritated hearing the news.

"What if we go back to Mumbai by road transport?" Shivaay said suddenly an idea popping out of his mind when Anika said,"A good idea but a bad idea at this time!"
Just then news flashed in the TV stating,

THE WEATHER IS VERY BAD.
ROADWAYS HAVE BEEN BLOCKED DUE TO LANDSLIDES. STAY SAFE.
✖

"Let's book a train ticket!?" He said again when she asked, "Are we getting network?"

"Come On Anika! We just spoke to Daksh Sir" saying he checked his phone but to his dismay, No network!

"Fhat the wuck! What's wrong with the signal?" Shivaay asked flabbergasted when Anika said,"Another passenger was telling the cell tower broke down few minutes back"
"Okay let's sit first! I'm hell exhausted." he said irked with his ideas not getting used.

Saying they settled down in the Goa airport and had food as Shivaay was very hungry. They whiled away time for about two hours talking about work and career but soon both of them got bored.

"Anika, can we get out of this place for sometime? The surrounding is too gloomy." Shivaay asked her when she said,"Okay but..."
"Don't worry! The staff told they would notify us when the flight is ready to take off" he said happily when she nodded in positive.

Both sprang out of the airport looking at the welcoming Goa.
