the hamilton fandom literally ruined my mental health

the hamilton fandom seriously needs to start holding members of the cast accountable. they are humans and some of them have done bad things. calling them "cinnamon rolls" doesn't change that. just because you think that someone is an "uwu smol bean who can do no wrong" doesn't mean that they will actually live up to those expectations.

also if someone is calling a member of the hamilton cast out for something controversial they did, actually listen. people can change and become better people but they won't if everyone is refusing to hold them accountable. and for a musical that's supposed to be empowering POC voices, a lot of members of the hamilton fandom just ignore people of colour when they're talking about the racist acts from some of the cast members.
