I'm sorry but WA makes me really angry and I need to rant.

Everyone over there is in a frenzy over pride month, and I can't stand it.

I love pride month. I think it's important for the LGBT folks to have a month to honor those who fought in the past for their freedom and equality, and to be proud of who they are. But I'm gonna be real with you for a second.

I don't give a flying fuck what your sexuality or identity is. In fact, don't even tell me. It's not going to sway my opinion of you either way. If you're an awful person as a cishet, you're still an awful person as a homosexual or transgender or anything of the like. And vice versa. I'm sorry, but that's how it is.

I don't need you all up in my comments section preaching about heterophobia. Nor do I need you preaching about how heterophobia doesn't exist. I literally couldn't care less.

'Love is love' has always been a mantra used to represent the LGBT community, but if that's the case, why can't we all just get along, please?

I hate it when cishets go around preaching about how they should be included in pride month. Pride month isn't some exclusive club, and the LGBT community isn't excluding you to be mean so get your head out of your ass, suck it up, and deal with it. You will never be part of the LGBT community if you're cishet, and there's something seriously wrong with you if that keeps you up at night. Be happy with who you are—you don't need to be part of the LGBT community or, worse, be preaching against it, to do that. And for fuck's sake, don't celebrate pride month except as an ally. It's like a Jew celebrating Christmas or a Christian celebrating Hanukkah—it's just not yours to celebrate, and it never will be.

Alternatively, I also hate it when LGBT folks go around preaching about how heterophobia isn't real. I know heterophobia isn't real. The only reason anyone would hate or fear heteros is because they think they might also be homophobic, not because they're cisgender and attracted to the opposite sex, which wouldn't even count as heterophobia, it'd be homophobia-phobia! But it doesn't matter either way—just because the LGBT community tells the cishets that they have no right to be upset, that doesn't mean it'll actually stop them from feeling left out. Starting fights like this is completely pointless and a waste of energy. If a cishet is convinced that heterophobia is real, no amount of arguing with them will change their mind—in fact, it'll only worsen their opinion of the LGBT community. I think, after all that was lost in the past to give us the semi-equality we have now, the LGBT community should at least be willing to patiently and kindly explain why pride month is not for cishets, as infuriating as that can be sometimes. Yes, there are some folks who will never listen, but there's no reason we all should be picking fights at the drop of a hat.

I'm sorry but I was super angry and I can't post these things on WA because people would know how much of an asshole I truly am and they'd stop buying art from me. Also you can't swear on WA :/

In other news, I'm almost done lining Theo's reference sheet, and then I'll move on to figuring out color.
