You grabbed the boys hand and stepped out of your realm, you watched as blood poured from his eye, a pentagram in place of his iris.

"I shall take a form suitable for a detectives assistant..."

Your wings turned to a jacket, your boots to flats, claws to polished nails, fangs to normal teeth, you took the form of a human.

"Now, what is my first order master?" You said, bowing slightly.

"Help me solve this case, make sure Kira is six feet underground" L said.

You found a cloth and an eyepatch to hide the pentagram. You sat him down on the bed in the room, you took note of the way he sat. You cleaned away the blood and tied the eyepatch over his eye.

"That stain won't come out if we don't clean it now" you said, looking at his shirt.

"My shirts are in the second drawer"

You walked over and grabbed one, swapping his bloodied one for a plain white.

"Tell me how old are you, what's your story?" You said.

"I'm 23, I'm an orphan, the world greatest detective, I have a major sweet tooth, insomnia and I know martial arts. But this case is proving to be too much. That's why I summoned you..."

This boy seemed... sad. You wondered why, from the sounds of things, he's had a rough life.
