Some garbage art not worth posting
One of my family's new chicks that we got a few days ago is sick and can't breathe and just looks so completely miserable (which is saying something, considering chickens don't exactly have a wide range of expressions), so I opened sketch requests on WA to get my mind off it.
Problem was, I was focusing a lot more on keeping an eye on the chick than actually doing art, so I got very few done and the ones that I did do are absolute garbage.
They don't even warrant a post, but I don't have any other content for you, so they'll have to do.
And here's a sketch of what's going to be either Palethorn or Mica (not sure which yet) that was originally doing to stay traditional, but I hecked up pretty badly on it, so I'm going to scan it in and redraw it digitally.
Maybe.
Knowing me, probably not, but maybe.
I don't know what this is.
Vent? The result of listening to Rainbow Veins on repeat while delirious in the middle of the night again? Trying to be creative but falling short, no surprises there?
Who knows.
I don't.
The weird thing is... I have the strangest urge to write, not draw. I haven't wanted to write anything at all since I started writing DC books. In fact, I've stayed as far away from it as possible since then. Maybe it's because I don't like writing things like those DC books—I have this odd, confusing, abstract, almost, way of writing that sounds... (for lack of a better word) pretty to me but just stupid to anyone else that I can't use when writing said DC books. I like to write things like that one blurb I did to accompany that one Palethorn drawing, where I had him personify the sky. The type of writing that takes eight minutes per sentence and you have to say aloud like a speech before you write it down because...you just do. That's how it's written. What I like to write is meant to be read aloud by someone who knows where to pause where, where to emphasize what, what tone of voice to use... That's always the way I write it.
Of course, that's not to say you should just sit there in your room reading this stupid little blurb aloud to yourself—I mean, you don't even know where to pause and what to emphasize XD
I don't know, whatever XD
..If anyone has any writing prompts that I could do something abstract-y with (especially with animal characters, since I struggle with humans), let me know :3
Maybe I'll take interest in one.
