Is it something I did?

I thought we were having a good time together and he just ran off without too much of a warning. I wonder what happened. After he left, that was all I could think about all night. 'Why did he leave me?'. Man, this guy is really messing up my mind! Everything was fine until he walked into my life and threw everything off balance. With his dark clothing, and his conceded attitude. His whole "bow down to me peasants!" kind of behaviour. I usually hate people who act like him, but I don't hate him specifically for some reason. Ever since I saw him I knew that he was different. But I don't know what about him was different. And it's not his unnatural snow-white skin, or his dark coloured everything, or the weird way he talks. Something else that draws me to him, but I don't know what.

All he does is push me away, but for whatever reason I'm interested in him. And I want to get to know him. Like, why does he always write everything down? Or, why didn't he know what a motorcycle was? Or why do I feel like he's never honest with anything he says? Everything about him seems off, like he's hiding something. And why is he so hostile toward everyone? I don't believe Eddy when he said that that's just his personality. Something had to make him that way. No one is just born all hostile and bitter. Something... Or someone, had to make him become that way. He won't answer any of my questions. Whenever he actually does decide to give me answers, they're always half responses. Or he doesn't really answer what I asked at all.

I'm going to see him again later today at school, maybe today I'll get more answers out of him.

"Tell me once more your malevolency, why is it that we are obligated to attend this retched place everyday?"

"So that we may gain higher amounts of knowledge about human culture."

"What can we learn about human culture from a bunch of whiney juveniles?! We should be out there, in the real world. Learning about more mature, adult human beings. It is they who are more interesting."

"That is correct, however, in these schools humans learn information about the world to prepare them for the rest of their adulthood and their short and meaningless lives. This is the place they learn their information, therefore, this is the best place for us to gather information about humankind. And besides, I do not possess enough of their human currency to afford what is known as university."

"I see sire." He sighed.

He would just have to suffer here in this dimension until the young lord decides that he had enough research information.

Over on the lockers two students were making out. Edd shivered in disgust.

"Disgusting! They're shoving their tongues into each other's mouths!"

"Hahaha! That guy knows how to get the ladies!" He nudged Edd in the side. "Say, sire, maybe one of these fine days you'll find yourself a lovely maiden."

"I think not." Edd scowled. "Any how, class begins soon, we should get going."

"Wow, you're no fun at all, are you?"

"I'm a prince of hell, I do not need to be fun."

The two headed toward their first class.

Class starts in 2 minutes, and he's not here. Where is he?

"What's the matter hon?" Nazz asked me, she battered her thick eye lashes at me.

"Have you seen Edd?"

"Where's Edd?!" She asked shocked. I nodded "As in he's not here? Like he's away?" She said, her blue eyes widening.

"Uh... yeah." She let out a loud sigh like she was relieved. What's going on here? I squinted my eyes at her. "Nazz, have you met Edd before? You know, before he moved to Peach Creek?"

"W-what?! No! I've never met him before in my life! What... what gave you that idea, sweetie?" She said nervously.

"Because you always act nervous whenever he's around. Or when he's even mentioned. What's that all about?"

"Whatever do you mean? Like, have you seen him? The guys a freak show!"

"Mmhmm, something tells me that's not it."

"Whaa-?"

"I may be stupid, but I have common sense."

"Yeah Nazz, why are you so scared if him?"

"GAAAH!" She screamed. The whole class turned and looked at her. "Nat! You nearly gave me a heart attack! When did you get here?" Nat was sitting on the left side of her.

"I was always here. I'm hurt that you didn't even notice my presence." He said dramatically.

Just as the bell rang Edd walked into the class room with Eddy trailing behind him.

Ms. H crossed her arms and gave him the same look she gives me whenever I get an F on my tests.

"Mr. Vincent. You were almost late." He went and look his seat without even looking at her. "In this class we show up before the bell."

"So what you are telling me, is that you're upset with me for almost being late?"

"..." He cut her off before she could speak.

"You are punishing me, for being here on time?" She angrily glared at him. "Because that makes sense, right?" He looked at her with the same bored look in his eyes that he always has.

"Don't talk to your elders that way young man."

(Edd's p.o.v)

"Don't talk to your elders that way young man."

Elders? That's hilarious!

'Oh, darling, I am MUCH older than you are' I thought to myself. But of course I can't say that to her face, now can I? A small amused smile formed on my lips. She is such an incompetent fool.

"Alright."

"What was that?" She asked taken back.

"You heard me. I said 'alright'." The smile on my lips grew a little wider.

I felt someone's eyes on me, I turned around to the that red headed child staring at me with his green eyes the size of saucers.

(Kevin's p.o.v)

So he can smile.

It's a very small smile, but it's there.

"Alright." He said.

"What was that?" Ms. H asked shocked. Everyone was staring at them now. Wow, he has some guts talking back to ms. H like that.

"You heard me. I said 'alright' ". Then he smiled even bigger. I think he has a nice smile.

"Right... Shall we get on with the lesson?" She said walking toward the chalkboard.

When I looked back at Edd he had the same bored look on his face and he was writing in his notebook again.

I took out a sheet of lined paper and started to copy some notes. I got to improve my grades or my mom and dad are going to ground me again.

I heard some giggling and I looked around to see where it was coming from. I saw a group of girls laughing and whispering to each other.

"He's so dreamy." Said one with dark brown hair, I think her name is Jacqueline.

"Yeah, he's really pale and cute and his name is Eddward like that vampire from twilight." Kaitlynn said. She had platinum blonde hair, I think she's a cheerleader.

"Do you think if I ask him out, he'll say yes and be my boyfriend?" Megan said, she had reddish brown hair.

Girls. I'll never understand them.

"Maybe. But if he says no, can I have him?" Kaitlynn laughed.

I don't know why, but I hope Edd turns all of them down.

After 40 boring minutes of Ms. H lecturing us, the bell rang. I grabbed all my stuff and then Nat, Nazz, Rolf and I went to our next class.

"I'm not sure how much more of this I can take." Said Belphagor.

"Oh, quit your belly aching! If you don't want to stay here you can just return home." I said.

"Don't you understand? I can't! If I return home without you, king Asmodeus will have my head at the guillotine!" 

"Oh, well. That's not my problem now is it?"

"But sire-"

"U-um." I felt something tug on my shirt. I turned around to see a young reddish-brown short haired girl looking up at me blushing. "H-hello!"

"Greetings." I said plainly. She gasped and blushed. Two other girls stood behind her squealing and giggling. Is it normal for humans to act this way? "Hi, I-I."

"Go on girl!" Her brunette friend said to her. The blonde one just nodded quickly whiles biting her pink nails.

"Will you... WILLYOUPLEASEGOOUTWITHME?!" She said loudly and quickly.

"Go out?" I asked. She wants to go outside with me?

"Um... yeah! I mean, if you want to that is." She said all flustered brushing her bangs behind her ears.

"Thanks for the offer, but I will pass." I said. I'd much rather stay indoors. Her smile dropped.

"O-oh. Ok, that's fine. We just met so I totally get it." She said sounding... disappointed? The other two girls put their hands on her shoulders and walked away with her. Strange.

Why is this human so upset that I'd rather stay in the building?

Mental note: Humans are very emotional and touchy.

I saw everything go down from across the hall, our lockers were close after all.

He really turned her down.

I can't believe it. And she was cute too!

I don't know why, but I'm really happy for some reason.

I saw her walk away with tears in her eyes and her friends where next to her trying to cheer her up.

"It's ok Megan." Said Jacqueline.

"Yeah. He's new so he just hasn't gotten a chance to get to know you. Maybe in the future he'll come around again." Said Kaitlynn.

"Thanks guys, you're the best." She said wiping her tears.

(Edd's p.o.v )

"Eddward! Why did you say no?"

"What do you mean, Eddy?" I was getting some of my texts books from my locker.

"That earth chick was quite a looker, wasn't she?"

"Don't be ridiculous Eddy. Now come, we have somewhere we need to be."

I made a new language!

I didn't wanna keep looking up ciphers code to write their demon language, so I'm making up my own new one!
It was inspired by the Ente Islan language in devil is a part timer.

The new alphabet is

The vowels stayed in the same spot, and each consonant switched places with the consonant next to it. Get it?

Idk if it has already been done... but still.

The point is, I thought it up.

So the word cat would be das

And the word house would be goute

And Canada would be Dapafa

And if I say "school is the f ing worst!" It would be "Tdgoom it sge d iph voqts"

And it will be pronounced like "t-dj-oom  (dj would be said like the dg in the word edge) it   S-gay  dee  if  voh- (hard o, like the word no) - kts " (kts would be said like the word cats minus the s. So cts) [now put the sounds together and try saying the made up word voqts)

Each underlined part is one word.

Another example is

"I hate gym class" which would be

"I gase hyl dmatt"

And it would be pronounced like " I  g-ace  hill   d-mat "

If he writes in ciphers, he's writing in code.
If he writes in the new language I made up, he's just speaking demon tongue.
Sorry for the change. I just thought it would be better. More interesting if they had their own demon language. And whenever they speak this language, I'll put in brackets what it says in English, to make it easier for all of us to understand.
