Star played with Goldie for a while. It made jack smile when he saw her this happy. He still felt bad for scaring her. He didn't mean to. He had something very special planned.

He looked at star and knelt down beside her. She was holding the puppy in her arms.

"Star?"

She looked at him and smiled softly. "Yes love?"

The dog barked happily before tilting its head.

"I have something special planned for you. Go get ready and meet me downstairs in 20 minutes."

Star smiled brightly. She didn't know what he had in mind. But she would be extremely happy.

She set Goldie down before running out of the room to go change.

Jack looked down and saw the puppy resting its head on his thigh. He gently scratched behind her ear. "She will love her surprise."

20 minutes later, jack was downstairs wearing a nice shirt and pants and his boots. He tapped his foot, waiting for his angel.

"Come on star! We don't have all..."

His eyes widened and his jaw dropped. Star walked down the stairs, her black heels clicking against the wood. She was wearing a blue dress

Star looked at him with a shy smile as she walked towards him. She couldn't help but giggle because she loved his reaction.

He walked towards her and cupped her face in his hands. "You look absolutely gorgeous my love."

Her whole face turned pink as he kissed her forehead. "Come on."

He wrapped an arm around her waist as they walked outside.

They arrived in the area where the ship was. Jack was holding her hands and walking backwards. Star had her eyes closed. "Are we almost there?" She asked.

They stopped walking and jack smiled. "You can open your eyes."

She opened her eyes and gasped, covering her mouth.

Location

There was a table with a candle in the middle. There was a rose next to stars plate of food, which looked extremely appetizing. One of the crew members from the ship was playing a guitar quietly.

Stars heart melted. "J-jack... you didn't have to do this..."

Jack looked at her and smiled. "But I wanted to darlin." He pulled her chair out and she sat down before he carefully pushed her in. He sat down in front of her and glanced at the guy, who gave him a reassuring nod.

After eating their food, they talked and laughed. It made jacks heart soar with happiness. But now he wanted to ask her something. He looked into her eyes as he stood up from his chair. She looked at him concerned.

"Everything ok love?" She asked, jack quickly nodding. He walked towards her and gently took her hands in his, helping her stand up.

He swallowed nervously as she gently squeezed his hands.

"From the moment I saw you in the ocean, I felt a strange feeling in my heart. I didn't know what it was. But as I kept helping you recover, I realized I fell in love with you. You make me smile, laugh and you make my heart soar with joy. I don't see myself spending my life with anybody else. I love you and I want to be with you forever. A-and I wanted to make it official..."

Star covered her mouth as she watched jack get on one knee. "O-oh jack..."

Tears filled her eyes as he pulled out a black box and opened it, revealing the most beautiful ring she had ever seen.

"Star... I promise to keep loving you with all my heart and I promise to protect you. Will you do me the honor and marry me?"

Happy tears streamed down her cheeks as she nodded. She had never been so happy in her life. The love of her life just asked her to marry him.

"Y-yes!!"

Jacks heart filled with even more love. She said yes. The one answer he hoped his angel would say. He took the ring out of the box and carefully put it on her left ring finger.

She cupped his face in her hands and kissed him passionately. He stood up and wrapped one arm underneath her, the other one around her waist. He picked her up and spun her around. She giggled happily as he set her down, kissing her with all his love.

The crew on the ship had been watching the whole time. And when she said yes, they all went wild. They cheered and clapped. They were so happy for their captain. And for his soon to be wife.

Star looked into his eyes and smiled through tears. "You just made me the happiest girl alive."

For the first time in jacks life, he felt tears pour down his cheeks. He was truly happy. "You have no idea how happy I am."

He then smirked playfully. "Last one in the water is a rotten fish!" He ripped off his shirt and she quickly took off her dress, leaving her in her corset. She took off her shoes, jack doing the same.

They ran into the water, star giggling. Jack ran up behind her and picked her up, making her squeak with laughter. They went underwater before coming back up. Jack turned her around and stroked her cheek with the back of his index finger.

"I love you my angel..." he whispered

She wrapped her arms around his shoulders as she rested her forehead against his.

"I love you too. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."

He kissed her nose As he rubbed her back. "I can't wait either..."
