A few months passed and they had finally reached Italy. But today was a special day. It was stars birthday. She was 22.

Jack and star were fast asleep in the cabin. Jack was holding star protectively, his fingers subconsciously running through her hair in slow movements.

Jack knew it was her birthday because Star told him the day before. Jacks eyes fluttered open. He looked at the sleeping angel in his arms and smiled before kissing her forehead. "Happy birthday sweetheart...." he whispered before kissing all over her face.

She giggled as she tried to cover her face. Jack then got an idea. He rolled her over so she was on her back and slowly laid down on top of her. She groaned before laughing. "O-oh come on jack!!!" She laughed, trying to breathe.

"Then the birthday girl needs to get up." Star opened her eyes and looked at him, playfully glaring. "Then get off me." She kissed his lips as he removed his weight off of her. He got off and she stood up before stretching.

"I have a few surprises for you."

Stars eyes sparkled as he walked towards the closet. He pulled out a purple dress. It would expose the shoulders and the arms. It was gorgeous.

"Go try it on..." star looked at him shocked before going to try on the dress in the bathroom. When she put it on, it fit her like a glove. It hugged her waist perfectly. She walked towards jack and his jaw dropped to the floor.

Not literally.

He looked into his eyes as he walked towards her, brushing the hair out of her face. "You look absolutely gorgeous my love..."

He pulled out a pair of black heel boots. She put them on and jack smiled. He kissed her lips, his hands gently rubbing her sides.

"You're going to have the best birthday ever." He smiled before walking out of the cabin.

After brushing her hair and moving it over her shoulder, she walked outside and noticed they were in Italy. Her eyes sparkled, feeling jack take her hand in his. She smiled softly as jack led her off the ship.

He had it all planned out. He was going to give her the most wonderful birthday ever.

"Where are we going?" She asked as jack wrapped an arm around her waist.

"I'll show you."

After about 20 minutes of walking, they came across a mansion. Jack had rented it for a day. They walked inside, stars eyes widening. It was beautiful!

It had many rooms, a kitchen, living room, backyard and so much more. Jack led her upstairs and into the bedroom. On the bed were rose petals. The curtains were closed and there were candles lit.

Stars breath hitched. Jack gently moved her hair over her shoulder and softly kissed her neck. Her heart pounded in her chest. She loved jack so much but she felt really scared to have sex.

She shook, her breath trembling. Jack felt her shake and looked at her worriedly. "Hey...."

He turned her around and placed a hand on her cheek.

He then figured out why she was shaking. He didn't want to push her if she didn't want to do it just yet.

"I-I..." she felt tears fill her eyes.

"I-I don't feel comfortable doing this right now. I don't want t-to upset you and I-I don't want to make you mad..."

She started to cry. Jack looked at her with love before pulling her in his arms. He shushed her lovingly as he held her protectively.

"Sssh I'm not mad at you. I didn't mean to scare you... I won't push you into doing it..."

He felt bad. He didn't mean to frighten her.

"Are you a virgin?" He asked softly.

She sniffled and nodded, continuing to cry.

He whispered sweet nothings in her ear as he sat down on the bed, holding her in his arms.

He knew how fragile her body was. He would always be careful. But if she wasn't ready, she wasn't ready.

He then remembered one of her presents.

"Wait here love..." he kissed her forehead before standing up and walking out of the bedroom.

Star waited for him to come back.

When he did, her heart filled with joy. He was carrying a puppy in his arms.

Jack smiled when he saw her reaction. "Meet your new puppy."

The puppy licked his face before he set it down and it ran straight for star. It jumped into her arms and started to lick her face, barking happily.

She giggled as jack sat down beside her and kissed her cheek.

"I haven't named her yet. I decided to let you pick a name for her."

She looked at him and smiled. "It's a girl?"

He nodded as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

"I'll call you... Goldie."

The dog barked happily as if saying she liked the name.

Star looked at Jack and gently rested her forehead against his. "I promise star. You will have the best birthday ever.."
