At 9 months pregnant, star was due any day. She just didn't know when.

Star was looking at the stars in the sky, her hands resting on the edge of the ship. All of a sudden, she got a shooting pain in her abdomen. She doubled over in pain and screamed, catching the crews and jacks attention. Jack literally jumped the stairs and was quick to join Stars side.

A bead of sweat already covered stars forehead, her hands clutching her stomach. Jack looked down and knew exactly what that meant. Gibbs looked at Jack, who carefully picked Star up in his arms and hushed her lovingly. Gibbs followed him into the cabin. He turned around and looked at the crew. "Keep working mates!"

He closed the door as jack set star down. He knelt down beside her and held her hand, squeezing it tightly. "Focus on your breathing darling. You're going to do great and you're going to be fine..."

Inside, he was screaming. Freaking out. She wanted her to make it and for their child to be healthy. And Alive of course.

He helped her sit up, propping a few pillows against her back to support it. Gibbs looked at Jack for permission and he nodded. Gibbs rolled her dress up her legs and past her hips. Star focused on her breathing before a cry of pain escaped her lips. Jack soothingly rubbed her back as Gibbs checked to see if she was dilated.

And she was.

"Ok star you need to push."

Stars eyes widened before her head rolled back and she cried again. "B-bloody h- I CANT!" She sobbed.

Jack looked at her and moved her hair out of her face. "Yes you can my love. You're my strong angel and you can do this. Squeeze my hand as hard as you need to. I'm not leaving your side"

Hearing jack say that, boosted her confidence. She squeezed his hand as she started to push, still focusing on her breathing.

"Just breathe love. You can do this..." jack cooed in her ear. Jack was really helping her. He was giving her more confidence in herself.

"Again!" She pushed again, crying in pain. Tears ran down her cheeks.

Jack wrapped his other arm around her shoulders. She gave one more push and the head slowly came out.

"I can see the head. One more push!"

She screamed, keeping her grip on jacks hand and pushed with all her might. The baby slid out of her and into Gibbs arms. Instant relief filled her body as she fell back against the pillows. A loud cry filled the room, their eyes locking on the baby in Gibbs arms. He looked at them with a soft smile. "It's a girl..."

They had a daughter, a beautiful baby girl. Brianna sparrow.

Happy tears ran down stars cheeks as they looked at their newborn daughter. Gibbs stood up and walked to the bathroom to clean her up. All the blood on her... gross.

Jack looked at star and lovingly kissed her forehead. "I'm so proud of you sweetheart..."

After cleaning her up, he wrapped her up in a towel and walked towards them. He gently placed the little girl in her arms. Jack, for the first time in his life, felt tears literally pour down his cheeks.

He was now a father. He wouldn't be like his dad. He would be the best dad ever.

Star cooed as she held the baby girl close to her chest, her finger stroking her tiny cheek. "Ssh it's ok... mamas got you..." 

The baby hiccuped, but started to calm
Down. Jack gently moved a little bit of the towel out of her face. The baby's tiny hand held onto jacks finger, making his heart soar with happiness.

Star smiled as she watched jack.

"Have you thought of a name yet?" Gibbs asked. They looked at each other before looking at Gibbs smiling.

"Brianna sparrow..." jack said with a proud smile on his face. Gibbs nodded before leaving the cabin, giving them some privacy. Star looked at Jack.

"Do you want to hold her?"

Jacks eyes lit up as he slowly nodded. Star gently placed her in his arms, helping him support her bottom and back. Jack held her close as she cooed, her eyes slowly opening. She had jacks brown eyes. But she would have stars blonde hair.

Star smiled softly as jack looked at Brianna, who was looking at Jack.

"She's beautiful just like you..."

Stars cheeks turned pink before she yawned tiredly. Jack kissed her forehead. "Sleep darling. I'll watch over her..."

Star smiled softly before falling asleep. He gently kissed Brianna's forehead. "I promise my sweet little sparrow. Mommy and daddy will take care of you... I promise..."
