Sleeping in the hotel room, Eve is fast asleep with Maddie and Jazz on their bed. Eve lets out a sigh in her sleep, and soon, she begins to have a dream, or rather, something even more.

Eve's Dream:

It shows Eve, as a little girl, running down the halls with a big smile on her face. She uses her speed to run down the hall and hides under a table. She then looks around, and speeds past the area to reach large containers and hides behind them as what looks like a couple of scientists are walking by. Little Eve then peeks out to see an opening that leads to outside. Eve then begins to make her way towards the door with excitement. But suddenly, a pair of legs gets in front of her from the outside. Eve skids to a stop, bumps into the legs and falls on her back.

Eve sits down as she rubs her back in pain, "Ow. That hurts."

"And where do you think you're going, young lady?" A voice says.

Little Eve looks up to see young man. He has brown hair, peach skin, and blue eyes. He is wearing what appears to be a military uniform, with the shoulders denoting him as a four-star general.

"Oh, hi Captain Walts," Eve says with a smile.

"Hey Eve, what are you doing?" The young man, Captain Walts says.

Eve stands up and says, "I'm going to explore the world outside the lab."

"Explore the world?" Captain Walts questions and lets out a chuckle.

"Yep," Eve answers with a smile.

She happily bounces up and down, "Maria shows me a show about three girls who are dressed as cats, and they're in a band, and they get to travel the world and stop bad guys. It's so exciting that they get to explore the world, play music, and go on adventures. I want to go on an adventure to see the world and beat bad guys."

"Sounds like a fun adventure, but I don't think it's a good idea for you to go," Captain Walts says.

Eve saddens to hear it, "How come?"

"Well Eve," Captain Walts says and kneels to her level, "You need to understand that you and your brother are still very new, and you will need time to control your powers, so you're not ready to travel. Besides, I don't think your mother or the professor will like it if you try to travel alone. They'll be worried."

"Oh..." Eve says, disappointed.

"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be able to travel someday, just make sure it's under our supervision," Captain Walts says.

"Okay," Eve says and gives up a happy nod.

Suddenly, they hear a voice, "Eve! Eveline-Ra, where are you?!"

Eve turns around as Captain Walts looks up to see someone walking over.

Walking over is a female Echidna walking over. The female Echidna is a watermelon red color fur covering most of her body, a black and pointy nose, with a peach-furred muzzle, a white crescent-shaped patch of fur on her chest. She also has red eyes. She is wearing a yellow strapless dress that has a white ribbon tied around her waist, along with white slip on shoes. She is also wearing a red short sleeve blouse jacket, and white gloves.

"There you are, Eveline-Ra. I was looking for you," The female Echidna says.

Eve runs over with a smile, "Mommy."

The female echidna rubs Eve on the head, "Oh Eve, were you trying to go on an adventure?"

"I was, but Captain Walts said I'm too young," Eve says.

"He is right dear, you're very young and you still have a lot to learn before going into the real world," The female echidna says, "Now then, it's to go to the professor's lab, it's time for your examination.

"Aww, but that's boring," Eve says, pouting.

"I know, but Professor Gerald wants to examine you to be sure your powers are stable. After all, you've become quite the energetic girl," The echidna says,

"Yep," Eve says.

"Now then, be good and head to the examination room," The echidna says.

"Okay mommy," Eve says and soon takes her leave to the examination room.

Dream Ends:

Eve lets out a soft sigh and mutters, "Mo... mommy..."

It's day two of Eve's stay in the Disneyland Resort, and she, along with Eve, Jazz, Maddie, and Rachel have arrived at the second park, 'California Adventures.' Eve has to admit, there are similarities between the two parks, but of course, she knows that they have different rides and attractions, thanks to the map Eve is holding.

"Wow. The place looks like it's part of Hollywood," Eve says.

"Sort of, but you gotta love the entertainment they have here," Rachel says.

Jazz flies over to see some of the toys at the stand, "Chao Chao."

"Yes Jazz, those toys look cute," Eve says.

"Jazz, remember to stay close to us," Maddie says.

Jazz flies over and bows a little, "Choa chao."

"I kind of wish I understood what she's staying, but I think it's enough to let us know what she means," Rachel says.

"Hmm, I wonder if Tails can make a device that can help us understand her," Eve wonders, scratching the back of her left ear.

"Maybe, Tails is a smart little fox, I'm sure he can make a translation for Jazz," Maddie says.

"Chao Chao," Jazz happily says.

"Well then, come on, let's go have fun," Rachel says.

"Yeah. Let's have some fun," Eve says.

The girls then begin heading across California Adventure for some fun. They have fun around the first half in the park. They ride Soarin Around the World Ride. Eve and the others are amazed to be riding on the ride as they watch a large screen showing the world from above. They also have gone to the Monsters Inc Ride, and Eve, Jojo, and Jazz laugh and smile. Eve also decides to take part in the Animation Academy, and it actually piqued her interest in drawing, besides doing a little drawing she has done in her journal. They also go on rides like Guardian of the Galaxy Ride, Car Land Rides, and see some shows and other attractions. Even go shopping in some of the stores that have some stuff, and Eve decides to buy some souvenirs for her brothers.

It's clear that the girls are having fun in California adventures as well. However, they aren't aware that the Egg Drone from before continues to spy on Eve, and in some cases, uses her powers to help people. Eve helped a girl get her balloon. She helped another child with a toy that is on the upper shelf, and other assistance. It brings Eve a smile to see many people happy for the help. Though, she notices that some are a bit concerned, or confused. Then again, some think she's someone in a costume or something.

After the fun they have in half of the park, they decide to get something to eat at one of the dining places in Cars Land.

"I have to agree that the Guardian of the Galaxy Ride is awesome," Eve says.

"Glad you like it, Eve," Maddie says.

"You know, it actually used to be a different ride," Rachel says.

"Really? What ride was that?" Eve asks, confused.

"The Tower of Terror," Maddie says.

"The Tower of Terror? What kind of ride was that?" Eve replies confused.

"It's a bit of a scary ride, but it's fun for a drop ride," Maddie says.

Jazz rapidly shakes her head in response.

"I don't think Jazz likes those rides so much," Jojo points out.

"Sadly, that's true," Eve says, "Jazz was hanging on, fearing she'll push up the ceiling if she lets go of me or the bars."

Eve flashes back to when Jazz is holding onto the bars and Eve's dreadlock so tight on the ride as it drops down as everyone else screams in terror or excitement.

"Yeah. Jazz doesn't want to go on something like that where they drop someone like that," Eve says.

"I know what you mean. The last time I went on a ride like that, I ended up losing my hat," Jojo says.

"I see," Eve says.

Then gives Jazz a drink, and the little Chao takes a sip from the straw. Then jazz burps a bit after drinking the soda. Eve and Jazz begin laughing as Maddie and Rachel snicker. Eve soon notices Commander Walters wearing casual clothes and is having a drink at a table across. Eve decides to ignore him, and focus on having her lunch. However, to Eve, it's worrisome to see him here at all.

Eve says in thought, "I just can't stop thinking about him being here. Knowing he is spying on me is already worrisome enough, but now I need to deal with the Egg Drones."

Noticing the concerned look on her face, Maddie asks, "You okay, Eve?"

Eve whispers, "He's here."

"Who's here?" Rachel questions.

Eve slowly gestures forward, "A certain G.U.N Commander is still here."

Maddie and Rachel slowly look to see the G.U.N Commander and return to circle around the group.

"Yep. That's Commander Walters alright," Maddie whispers.

"You need me to tell him off," Rachel whispers.

"No," Eve whispers, "I don't want us to cause a scene, and I don't want G.U.N to give us any problems."

Jojo turns to Eve and asks, "What are you going to do?"

"Chao Chao?" Jazz replies, concerned.

Eve sighs, "I... I don't really know, but I think the best approach I can do is confront him."

"Are you sure about that?" Maddie asks.

"I don't like it as much as you girls do, but I need to figure out why he is following us, or rather, me for that matter," Eve says, "I understand they wanted to keep an eye on us because there aren't that many uh, beings like us on Earth, but I do appreciate they don't talk us or give us problems. And I'm planning on finding that out, myself."

"Well, I'm rooting for you to get answers from him," Rachel says.

"Thanks Rachel," Eve says.

"But are you sure it's a good idea to uh, confront him?" Maddie asks, concerned, "You remember what happened the last couple of times you had interacted with them."

"Well, I was knocked out at Rachel's wedding, and those two nutcases trapped me and Knuckles in a box and tried to hunt me along with Knuckles, Jazz, and Wade down," Eve adds.

Then sighs, "Besides, I think G.U.N knows something about me."

This has Maddie and Rachel confused and concerned.

"What do you mean?" Rachel asks.

"Well, sometime ago, during the incident with Knuckles and I were trying to help Wade with his bowling tournament, one of the Agents, Willoughby, said something strange to me. She then says that G.U.N are more intrigued about me than the others," Eve says.

"She told you that?" Maddie asks.

Eve nods, "Yes. She said that while deleting Dr. Robotnik's data, they found a file that was dated over fifty years."

"A file?" Rachel question.

"From fifty years ago?" Maddie questions.

"Yes," Eve answers.

"What were they?" Jojo asks, curiously.

"Apparently they're coordinates, to some research facility," Eve says, and shrugs her shoulders, "Sadly, that's all she knows. However, they seem to be connected to me somehow."

"Hmm, that's strange," Maddie responds, "What would a fifty year old file have to do with you?"

"That's the million dollar question," Eve says, and thinks for a minute as she says, "I wonder if that's one of the reasons why Commander Walters wanted to keep an eye on me."

"That's true. He even asked Randall how you've been doing," Rachel says.

Confused, Eve asks, "He did?"

Rachel nods her head, "Hmm mmm... from what my husband explains, Commander Walters seems to like to know how you all are doing, especially you."

"But why...?" Eve asks, concerned.

She then begins to think deeper and seems to think deeper in her thoughts.

"What is it, Eve?" Rachel asks.

"Well, ever since what happened at the wedding, I just... I just can't shake the name Walters from my mind... and... felt a bit weird about Walters..." Eve says.

"How so?" Maddie asks.

"I don't why, but I... I think I've heard that name before..." Eve says.

"Really?" Maddie asks.

"Yes, but... I can't remember where I heard that name before," Eve answers.

Maddie then gently rubs her head, "I'm sure you'll figure it out, someday. For now, let's focus on having a good time here, and you can write all this out when we get to the hotel."

"Okay," Eve says with a nod and shows a smile on her face.

"Well then, now that we're done with all that, let's finish eating and continue to have our girl time," Rachel says.

Eve giggles, "Okay."

The girls continue to have their lunch and plan to have more fun. However, Eve also has something else on her mind. She can't shake the feeling that Commander Walters might know something about her past, and she might be able to get some answers.
