ᴀꜱᴛʀᴇᴀ ᴀɴᴅ ʜᴇʀ ᴋɪᴅꜱ ᴀʀᴇ ꜱᴄᴀʀᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ

PERCY WALKED INTO HIS cabin after spending time with Annabeth on the beach. After taking a quick shower he lay down on his bed, closed his eyes and tried to sleep. 

It was quiet. And that was the problem. 

Percy had gotten used to sleeping in the faint noise of children screaming outside and his elder sister's light breathing in the night. He couldn't sleep now.

He waited and listened to his surroundings. It was too quiet. Way too quiet.

And that was suspicious.

He narrowed his eyes and got up. It was never this silent so what was happening?

"AaAAaaaaaHHhHhhh" he heard a scream and then heavy footsteps as Astrea burst in through the door. 

She was breathing heavily. "Snakes! There was a snake" she panted, leaning against the cabin wall. 

'Hell no' was his first thought as he would now have to deal with an over calculating Astrea. 

Athena's kids weren't the only ones with an insane and deathly fear. The children of Apollo had Ophidiophobia, the fear of snakes due to their father's history with Python. 

Astrea got the short end of the stick, as she was his soulmate and being that connected to him, this fear transpired.

It was not an illogical fear for her and her kids either.

Snakes seemed to hunt them down and try to bite them. Even water snakes for her! 

"You're okay" Percy said rubbing her shoulders to try and calm her down. "Were the kids-?"

"Oh my god! My kids! I screamed and ran while Austin was still next to me, oh my god i have to go" she panicked

"Okay i'm going" she said as Percy nodded and turned to open the door. As soon as it opened there was a thud and something fell on his head.

Astrea screamed again once she saw it was the snake

"IT GOT IN" she screeched while Percy yelled "GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!" running around madly in circles.

The snake fell off as soon as he said that and they both ran out of cabin 3, faster than you could say 'Poseidon'.

As the campers watched the two going crazy, Annabeth and Nico came up to them and sighed, looking at each other.

"I'll go look in the cabin" the blonde said as the younger replied, "i'll pack their stuff"

It seemed like hours later when they finally calmed down.

"You're not even afraid of snakes" Annabeth told her boyfriend and she gave him his packed backpack. "But it fell on my head!" He groaned tearfully.

"It'll be okay" she said while lightly laughing at him

Meanwhile Astrea was in the Apollo cabin with her children (including Nico) all in a group hug.

"I hate snakes" she grumbled into the hug as the kids agreed. 

Finally breaking apart from everybody, Nico went to give her, her backpack. 

"Here, i thought you probably wouldn't want to be there tonight so i packed it for you."

She gave him a kiss on the forehead and murmured a "thank you". 

Astrea went into the girl's washroom and changed into her night clothes. After washing up, she made her way to her room and sat on her bed. She called the others in, as she set up a movie on her monster-proof TV (thanks to magic) and some snacks for everyone.

"MOVIE NIGHT" she screamed out into the cabin and there was a rush of multiple footsteps as the kids all ran into the room. 

Each took their own space either on the bed, sofa or beanbags. Astrea had Luna tucked under her right arm with Will next to her and Kayla tucked under her left with Nico next to her. 

The rest of her kids were spread about the room as she pressed play and the movie began, taking away any sad or frightening thoughts of the day they had.

Sya Notes ! 

I wanted to give you all some content with her kids so you could get a gist of her relationship with the cabin 7 kids. I don't think i really went that deep into it, this was kind of like a funny filler chapter, so not much. 

Still, i hoped you enjoyed so far!
