【Evangeline's Introduction】

Welcome! My name is Evangeline, but call me Eve or Angel for short!

I'm your lovely host and helper in the scary world of adopting from my café!

This place is where you'll be introduced to new children to add to your current creations!

I do run a business though, so there are rules and payment methods I need you as a lovely customers to look at.

【Evangeline's Rules】

Breaking any of the following rules will result in any of the following:

Temporary Adoption Ban

Permanent Adoption Ban

1- Be nice to others! Do not go harassing them in DMs or anything.

2- All adoptables are free to redesign unless I state otherwise. Please do not redesign adopts that are explicitly mine/other's species. You may do wardrobe changes though!

3- Please tag me whenever you use the original drawing I made and when you first post your version of the adoptable. I also appreciate credit in any OC book you may have!

4- Please do not rush me with any of the adopts. I appreciate reminders, but please do not take it too far!

5- Please keep your bio in one post. If your bio is incredibly long, then it's okay to separate it into different comments.

6- There will be a limit on some chapters for adopting. If you exceed this level, please wait a week before trying again.

7- Please look at other people's comments and read through replies if you're a bit late to adopting something from me. This saves me time from replying to someone who wants an adoptable that's already taken. The only exception is for Free For All adoptables.

8- Feel free to request themes and ideas for future adopts! I am always open for questions and anything else you want/need to talk about!

9- If you have submitted a bio and I have told you that you got the adopt, you are automatically put on a hold from adopting again. You will be taken out of this hold once you finish your adopt or tell me you can't work on them.

10- If you are adopting from me through one of my egg/capsule/collage/ect adopts and decide to make your character have a twin in the same bio, please double the payment. If an egg is worth 10 points and you decide to make twin characters, make your payment 20 points.

11- If you have already been accepted for an adoptables bio but fail to complete the payment a month after the adopt, than I'm afraid the adopt will be going right back up for adoption. You are, of course, free to try again for the adopt. If you are someone who keeps adopting but never finishes payments, I am less likely to accept your bios. As harsh as this may sound, I don't enjoy feeling like I am wasting mine or others time when I accept bios for someone who doesn't finish their payments.

If you've read the rules, comment what your favorite color is! This is to make sure everyone has read the rules.

【What do all these acronyms mean?】

NTA- Name to adopt

BTA- Bio to adopt

OTA- Offer to adopt

FCFS- First come, first serve

FFA- Free for all

CDA- Custom Design to Adopt

NTA's will not be made very often.

BTA's and OTA's will be used with each other for the majority of these chapters.

Most of my earlier adopts were FCFS, but I find that people respond better when I do it in a FFA style, where I allow everyone a week to try for an adopt before I announce who 'wins' which adopts. Then they are giving about two-three weeks to get the payments done.

I will probably still have a few FCFS', but they will be far and few between.

CDA is newer but it's a familiar concept. If I have this posted in my Points Cheat Sheet, that means I am accepting custom character design swaps. You create a design basically.

In the future, I may consider opening up for monetary currencies or video game currencies. However, as of right now, I do have commissions available that you may go to if you'd like to help support this sad little human woman and her art endeavors.

I ONLY accept drawings of my OCs, which you may find in Jackie's Misfits or in Original Characters References.

On some occasions, I will allow for CDA.

【Overspending and Underspending】

Overspending will be referred to as 'Saved Points'. Basically, if you offered something that was worth 30 points for a 10 point adoptable, you'd have 20 points saved over for a future adoptable. I will do my hardest to keep track of the points, but you should also do your part and keep track of your points.

Underspending is, simply put, when your offer isn't exactly up to the amounts of points a certain adopt you want. If you want to adopt a 20 point adoptable and you only offer something worth 15 points, I'll give you some suggestions on how to bop that 15 up to a 20. I will always try to suggest offers at the amount of points you need to get an adopt, however, you can always do more.

For character redesigning, go to Jasmine's Repair Shop! She's a little feisty, but I assure you she will not bite!

【Events?】

I had planned to have some events for this book in the past, but I have seen some of my friends losing interest in Wattpad, so this is most likely not to happen unless I gain some new followers and people who are interested in this sort of stuff.

Job Openings are just position openings. Basically, you'll have your preferred OC in a café uniform drawn by me with your designs that you wish to get rid of. Anyone interested in those OCs will have to make their offers available for YOU.

Special Events are basically just sales. Think Black Friday (for non-Americans, it's a whole day of cheap prices and overcrowding at your local Wal-Mart by middle aged women and cheap guys) but less chaotic. Basically, I'll dedicate a chapter to either adoptables made in a certain theme, like Christmas or Pride Month, or show off adoptables that haven't yet been taken at a lower price.

In the future, I would love to have a 'fan-art' contest for this book! As of right now though, things are very busy in my real life, so it's just a side idea that will be explored in the future.
