"put your lights off Norvix!" Evangeline shout whispered.

Norvix put his light off and Evangeline took him out of her shirt.

"Lets go... NOW!" Angela whisper shouted and they started running in the darkness towards the opening of the cave.

The dragon awoke and breathed a deep sigh. It then spotted the children and it stood up. It roared loudly.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY CAVE?"

She took a few steps forward and was already right behind the three. She then put her leg in front of them blocking the way.

"YOU STILL HAVE'NT ANSWERED MY QUESTION LITTLE ELVES!"

They all turned around to face the dragon. Evangeline stepped forward to speak.
"We were running away from someone and thought that this cave would be safe!"

"SAFE?! OF COURSE ITS SAFE HERE! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! MY CAVE IS ALWAYS OPEN FOR LITTLE ELVES, SWEET LITTLE ELVES! MASTER ALWAYS LETS ME EAT THE FLESH AND THE BONES AND HE THE HEART! NOW COME WITH ME, INTO THE DEPTHS OF MY CAVE, WHERE YOU WILL BE SAFE FROM ALL HARMS WAY."

The dragon picked up the three children and walked with them far into the cave. Norvix managed to get away from the dragon's grasp but flew close behind all the way. The elves struggled and screamed for help but no one was going to save them. This, they thought was going to be the end. They were carried for an hour far into the cave. The dragon's purple fire breath lighted up the way.

They got to where ever the dragon was taking them and she put them down and pushed them into a pitch black room. When inside a boys voice was heard "hello? whos there? oh no , not more elves! you wont last a day in here!" He says exasperated.

"Who are you?" Angela said while feeling around and accidentally putting her hand on Elizabeth's face "Ah! Stop!" was Liz's response.
"Girls lets all find each other first and then we can talk." Evangeline said thinking logically and keeping her cool.

The three of them walked around like blind people holding out their arms feeling around them. When they found each other they all held hands.

"Okay, good, now we are all together. So who are you boy?" Elizabeth asked.

"my name is Elander Elpaenör" the boy said with a very Icelandic accent. "What are your names?" He said getting up off the floor in a corner of the room and nearer to the girls.

The trio told him their names. And Angela added, "we are all eleven years old, what about you?"

"I'm 15" Elander said and the girls eyes got used to the dark. Their eyes fell strait onto the boy. They all gasped at the same time. He looked down at his chest and put his arms around himself as if trying to hide something.

"where?... where is your heart?" evangeline asked with a trembling voice.

"He, um-he ate it." Elander said looking down. The girls all gasped in horror.

"How are you alive, or aren't you?" Elizabeth managed to say. Angela went over to him and pinched his arm.

"Ow! what was that for?!"

"just checking that you're real..." Angela replied innocently and pinching him again.

"Ugh stop Angela. I'm his prise subject... how lucky! what can i say? I get my heart ripped out every three days by Glithsmorada, the dragon that brought you here. You have no idea how many creatures have passed through here! All of them dead now of course... I'm immortal. My limbs grow back. I can't die. After all this time, I have begged for Glithsmorada to eat me. But he never allows her to." Elander said and went and pulled the girls closer to him. "His name, is Seshivaha..."

The girls stepped back and stared at him and then each other. "Seshivaha?! we learnt about him in our first history lesson!" Liz whispered.

"And he's a wrelitch! The only one alive today! I hate wrelitches! Curse them, may they all die." Angela said fiercely. Evangeline stared at the floor her stomach tense. The others stared at her. "You aren't a wrelitch Evangeline, you don't need to worry!"

"its not that... look at the floor! see the shapes and words?" she said getting on her knees and blowing and dusting the dirt away from the floor. The others did the same.

"It's a riddle!" Angela pointed out.

" it says : the only way to defeat him is if the three cores are used by three of what he is. The fourth person is to channel it to his core." Elizabeth read.

"Well that's helpful! Elander, you're the oldest... what does it mean?" evangeline asked

"uuuuh i donno... maybe the cores symbolise hearts..." Elander said doubtfully

"oh wow! that could be right! and he's a wrelitch?" evangeline asked

"A wrelitch... yes." Elander answered slowly "there aren't any  left though, they all get executed! and a fourth person... what?"

"well what if there was a family hidden away where the mother was half fairy half witch and the father was an elf? they first had a kid who was a wrelitch and then they had triplet wrelitches. That special family could defeat Seshivaha!." Elizabeth said and slowly turned and looked at Evangeline.

"okay and why would they need to kill him exactly?" Evangeline

"because they are the strongest creatures alive obviously!" Angela answered rolling her eyes. "You really need to read more books girl!".

"yeah well anyway, we should find a way out of here." Evangeline chirped trying to change the subject less she gets caught.

"Ha! like i haven't already tried! There is no way out!"

"How'd you get here?" Evangeline asked.

"I used to go to Baghasheth, god school. I only went to Groundzey for two months and then got kicked into the forest for being an elf god. The one who found out was that horrible mrElvencore. I hate him with all my heart... oh... well all my being."

Elizabeth and Evangeline looked at each other.

"Mr Elvencore is my uncle actually. And Elizabeth's father." Evangeline admited and Elizabeth glared at her.

"Wait WHAT? He can't still be teaching then, because he'd never let his daugter die would he? and his niece. He must be the second most evil man in the universe!"

"How DARE you speak like that about my father?!" Elizabeth said and slapped Elander across the face.

"sheesh girls calm down! cant you be calm like Evangeline? please stop hitting and pinching me!"

"Fine, we will stop now."  Angela said.

"Now hug." Evangeline said to angela and elizabeth.

"What!? no way! ew" the three of them all said at the same time.

"Let's split up and each go to a corner of the room and search for a way to get out." evangeline said. They all went to a corner and searched.

"EVANGELINEEEE" Evangeline heard.

"What? who are you? show yourself!" evangeline threw herself back and searched looking around her frantically.

"You will meet me soon enough darling..." the man said and Evangeline could feel the wicked smile growing on the persons face.
