History lesson with mr. Elvencore

At nine thirty lessons began. First graders had history with mr. Elvencore. He greeted the kids one by one and then he sat down at his desk. The four girls had unfortunately gotten the front row to sit in. Angela sat with Elizabeth and Evangeline with Amy. The classroom was really big with lots of paintings and maps on the walls.

"Good morning children, i hope your first night at Groundzey was comfortable. As you know i am your history teacher. My name is Finley Elvencore. I will teach you the book: Elen, a gift from the stars."

Hannah raised her hand. She was sitting behind Angel. "Yes?"

"Sir what does Elen mean?"

"It means star in elvish. Now to begin the lesson. The actual reading of the book will happen next week; now i will just give you the description.

Elen was born on the first of June back in 9000 B.C. to two human parents, Jack and Olianda. She was born at three in the morning.

The homes back in the day weren't that developed so they lived in a barn with cows and sheep. Her father picked her up for the first time and as tradition of the time, showed her to the stars.

There was a prophecy that one day a girl will be born at night that will change humanity. As he held her in his arms, a shooting star around the size of an olive, landed on the baby's chest. It went through her blanket and into her heart.

The prophecy had been for filled. Well not entirely yet. Soon they found out they couldn't have any more children.

Raising her was not easy. She was the only child in the world to have magic. She used it a lot. As she grew her powers grew too. In the beginning all she could do was summon something towards her but at the age of ten she could grow a tree with just a seed in twenty seconds.

When she was sixteen she met a boy named Leo. They fell in love and married at eighteen. When they were twenty two they had triplet girls. They all looked very different.

The first one, which was an elf, was named Avery. She was smart, quick-witted and loved learning. She had a very special talent with the bow and arrow and could always aim perfectly. She could also do magic, but preferred not to use a wand but instead her bare hands.

The middle girl was a witch named Diana. She was sneaky, sly and always wanted  attention. She could do magic such as flying on a broomstick, brewing potions, casting spells and even predict the future.

The youngest that was a fairy, was named Gloriana. She was kind, thoughtful and selfless. She could become as tiny as a person's thumb. She also had wings that didn't work for the first five years of her life. But as she got older, she became an excellent flyer.

When the three of them were four years old, their little brother Seshivaha was born. He was elf wizard and fairy. He was more powerful then the three combined and was an wicked boy. He grew up with one friend, George Smith. He never really was his friend, he was really mean and bullied him because of his looks. Then, more kids joined George in the bullying. It lasted until the last day of high school. After that he went to live alone in a forest.
No one has seen him ever since. Legend has it, he is still alive waiting to attack the elves and the witches and the fairies. He is just waiting for the perfect moment.

As they grew up, the relationship between the girls was unbreakable. Seshivaha was so jealous of their sisterly love that when he was twelve years old he cast an unforgivable spell on them.

From that day and after the three girls and their families hated and envied each other. Every time they looked at the other girl, an unspeakable anger welled up in their hearts that they couldn't explain. They of course didn't know that they had been cursed by their brother.

Eventually they all married humans and had lots of children.

The kings and queens fifty years after the three sisters deaths, decided to write a rule book. No fairy can marry an elf or a witch. No witch can marry an elf or a fairy. No elf can marry a witch or a fairy.

Mixture of blood could make a creature like their brother, so it was forbidden. And the consequence would be death.

Seshivaha never married and had no children."

The classroom was silent.

"So that is your lesson for today. Class dismissed."

Everyone stayed at their seats too scared to move.

When they finally got up they went out of the class then stood blankly at the door. They didn't know where to go. Amy went back to the classroom and asked what to do. He told them to go to their next lesson that was with animals.
