Blood dripped down the left side of her face. A cut deep enough to scar. She grinned, "You thought it was that easy didn't you?"

The girl opposite of her sat scrambled on the ground. Her body trembled. The scarred woman took another step forward, a wicked gleam in her eyes. "You thought you could get rid of me just like," she snapped her fingers, "that."

The frightened girl was struggling to breath, everything was foggy. The woman grabbed the younger woman's jaw. Lifting her feet above the ground. She gritted out, "Well I have news for you, my dear."

The girl squeezed her eyes tight, but tears still managed to escape. She had given up everything to make sure this plan succeeded. The malicious woman continued, "In this story, the villainess doesn't die."

With her other hand she unsheathed her dagger and plunged it into the girl's heart. "She not only lives, but wins!"

She dropped the girl and her eyes made contact with yours, the reader. "I'm not truly the villain, if I won. They simply tried to cover up their mistakes and pin it onto me, the one who wanted justice."

She smirked, "Now toodaloo," she waved her hand before disappearing in thin air.
