"How could you do this?"

She looked at him and smiled. A smile so sweet, it tore his stomach apart. She tilted her head and asked, "Do what?"

His eyes widened and he gestured with his hands, "This." They were surrounded by dead bodies. It was just the two of them left. "Why would you do this, when you know everything you have?"

Her sweet demeanor snapped. Her nose flared and her lips were curled in a snarl. "I never had anything!" She grabbed him by his jaw and pulled his face close to hers. She whispered, "Not even you. . ."

She shoved him back and stepped closer to him. "Which is why," she picked him up once more. Setting a cold kiss on his cheek. He shivered at her touch. There was once love between them. Or so he thought, but he was wrong. He shut his eyes tightly, letting the pain and heartache wash over him.

"I have nothing to lose!" One quick blow and the dagger took his heart. Fitting that she'd be the one to take it. A lone tear escaped, before the darkness invaded.

Inspo from a song with this title. I forgot who it was by. I was bored one day and didn't know what to write about so I decided to go off song titles and it was a fun writing exercise!
