"CHOCOLATE FROG"
The Gargoyle ascended up to reveal the staircase to the Headmaster's office.
"You guys can leave now." Roxanne said as she turn around to face the boys.
"Nope, we're here now so there's no turning back." James said, making the three other boys look at him in shock.
"Prongs, you're getting us in trouble!" Sirius whispered, but James just shrugged as if it was no big deal.
"Okay, it's not like I'm the one getting detention, thankfully," Roxanne saluted, beginning to walk up the stairs.
She gently knocked on the wooden door as she approached it. A soft shuffling of papers were heard on the other side of the door, indicating that Dumbledore was awake.
The boys quickly tidied their clothes when they heard the knob being turned and a lock clicking. With a long loud creek, the door was opened. The headmaster peeked his head out to see Roxanne with the Marauders. It was very confusing for the headmaster, mostly because he had no idea who the girl is. And the four boys didn't really help with their infamous reputation around the school. Still, the headmaster stepped aside as he let the five in.
"What is it you wish to tell me?" He asked, sitting down on his throne-like chair.
"Right," Roxanne exclaimed, "well my name is Roxanne Andrews and I seem to have gotten into a very sticky situation. Number one being I shouldn't be here, not in this universe that is."
"I don't think I understand, please enlighten me."
"One thing for sure is this whole thing," she gestured at the whole room, "isn't real."
"Excuse you but I'm as real as your very existence," Sirius said from behind her, making the blonde roll her eyes.
"You wouldn't understand. . . You'd probably think I'm crazy or something. . ." she trailed off.
"It's not like we don't now," Sirius interjected, a loud grunt escaping his lips as James nudged him on the ribs.
"As I was saying," Roxanne said loudly, making the four to listen to her, "I don't really know how I got here, a book just started flying in the air and next thing I know I'm here. . . I'm actually surprised I didn't meet Harry Potter and his two sidekicks."
"Harry Potter?" Peter whispered.
"I see," Dumbledore hummed. "Tell me, Miss Andrews, do you know what today is?"
"September First, 2016?"
"It's 1976, Roxanne," said Remus.
"Wh-what?"
"He's right, it's 1976, not 2016," James nodded in agreement. "Are you from the future? Because if you are then that's cool!" Roxanne looked at him in disbelief and shook her head in disapproval while Remus smacked the back of James' head.
"Stop being an idiot, Prongs. I told you, she's crazy!" Sirius exclaimed.
"Oh stop being such an ignorant bastard!" Roxanne spat. Sirius held his hand up in mock surrender as a response, only making the blonde's anger to increase.
"Now, now, I do not wish a murder to be committed under my supervision," Dumbledore interrupted. "Miss. Andrews as you haven't noticed, today is one of the rarest days of the blue moon."
"Blue moon?" Asked Remus.
"Yes, Mr. Lupin, a Blue Moon," Dumbledore nodded. "It is very rare to experience one but it was said that a blue moon can stimulate portals to different dimensions. In this case, it took you to ours."
"You mean like the 'Smurfs'?" Roxanne said, rubbing her chin in confusion.
"What the fuck is a Smurf?"
"Language, Padfoot."
"Sorry, Moony."
"What are we in your dimension, Miss Andrews?" Asked Dumbledore, his eyes shining with wonder.
"Well, you guys are just a work of fiction. . . A representation of an author's mind. . . well all of you except Hogwarts and other stuff. But what I don't understand is why here? I actually expected Harry flying around on a hippogriff or something. . . Why did it take me way back?"
"I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that, Miss Andrews."
"Oh. . ."
"Now, I do believe you might be staying here for quite a while. . . Would you like to stay at our Hogwarts?" Dumbledore asked.
Roxanne nodded her head, "I guess that's for the best."
"Have you been sorted in a house in your dimension, Miss Andrews?"
"A proud Hufflepuff, sir!" She cheered, making three of the boys roll their eyes at her.
"It's settled then, for tonight I advise you to sleep in one of the spare rooms on the second floor. One of the ghosts will kindly help you make your way there, but in the mean time, please accompany her." Dumbledore instructed, referring to the four other boys behind Roxanne.
"How are you even certain we know where it is?" James asked.
"Don't you? Perhaps this will help," Dumbledore said, flicking his wand to levitate a piece of parchment from one of the boy's pockets.
"H-how did you?"
"Some things are better left unsaid, as long as you take Miss. Andrews to the room safely then there won't be any punishments. Although, twenty points will be deducted from Gryffindor for being out after hours." He said making the four boys nod eagerly.
ON THEIR TREK TO ROXANNE'S ROOM, the boys have been pestering her about the other dimension.
"So about the book that transported you here," said Sirius, "we were a part of it?" He pointed to himself and his friends.
Roxanne nodded, "I told you this, three times already."
"Sorry, it just feels a bit overwhelming. . . Seeing as we are not real. . . In your dimension that is." He added quickly.
"And you said I was crazy," she replied smugly.
"I didn't say you're not crazy."
"Anyways, what happened to us?" Remus said to prevent another useless banter to erupt between the two. "Did you read the books?"
"Nope, I didn't really want to read it since it did kind of exposed the whole Wizarding World." She answered matter of factly. She'd only skim the back part of the third book, only because Nicole forced her to, but she never really read the whole book. "But you will be a professor in the future, Remus, I think I heard Nicole mention it before since your basically her favorite." Remus blushed furiously as his eyes sparkled in excitement. He never really thought he could be anyone's favorite since most people would prefer Sirius or James.
"Oh, what about me?" Sirius asked, his eyes twinkling like Remus'.
"Hmmm. . . Not quite sure, but I skimmed one of the covers and kinda remember a Black going to Azkaban? I'm not sure." Roxanne pondered.
Sirius scoffed, "probably one of my cousins, I bet you a hundred galleons dear cousin Bella will be in Azkaban."
"What about me?" Peter asked.
"Not so sure about you Peter. I never really read the books," she said while the lad's shoulders visibly sunk in disappointment. He really wanted to know what he'll become in the future.
"How about me?" James said, finally uttering a word after being silent the whole walk.
"Well the book is named Harry Potter, so I'm very much sure you're his dad. It must be nice being with your son to defeat the Dark Lord side by side and flying hippogriffs and attending his Quidditch matches in the future. . . I kind of heard Nicole said Harry became the youngest seeker in the Gryffindor team." She said, turning her head to him, making James smile at her.
"Wonder who the unlucky girl is. . ." Sirius trailed off, earning another smack on the head by Remus. "Kidding, kidding, I mean who wouldn't want to be with Prongs? I'd sure date him if I was a girl."
"Evans would beg to differ," Peter piped up, suddenly feeling a bit happy.
"After all, you are an arrogant toe-rag," Remus said, making the other two roar in laughter. One of the portraits scolding them causing them to giggle to themselves quietly.
"And I'm here having no idea what's going on," Roxanne muttered under her breath, James chuckled at her.
"They tend to get a bit overboard sometimes," he said.
"Obviously," she agreed, looking forward to the three boys silently whispering amongst themselves. "They're practically treating us like we're not even here."
"Why don't we have a bit of fun?" James suggested, a mischievous glint going through his eyes.
"And what do you have in mind, Potter?"
"It involves Slytherins and pranking and possibly late walks, you in?"
Roxanne smiled, "something tells me we're gonna get along just fine, Potter."
While the others weren't looking, James and Roxanne sneaked out of view, making the three other marauders to wonder where they were when they turned back to find them nowhere to be seen.
"I JUST PLACED THE LAST DUNGBOMB," Roxanne whispered to her wrist, imitating the spies in those muggle movies she use to watch with Nicole, "I repeat I just placed the last dungbomb."
James appeared next to her, looking at the blonde with a strange expression, "you're one weird kid, Roxy."
"Why thank you, Jameson," she replied.
"We've known each other for less than a day yet we already have nicknames for each other."
"Our friendship is one of a kind, Jameson."
They slipped out of the dungeons in record time after James finished planting his half of the dungbombs.
"Do you think they'll know it's us?" Roxanne asked.
"Well, they'll know it's me but not you." James whispered.
"Good. . ." Roxanne hummed under her breath.
"Want to go for a walk?" The lad asked, Roxanne yawned.
"Maybe another day, Jameson. I'm really tired right now." She said already feeling her eyes get heavy. She turned to the boy next to her, "walk me to my room?"
James nodded his head, taking out the map from his pocket and walked beside Roxanne as he directed the both of them to their destination.
"Goodnight, Roxy."
With a yawn, "Goodnight, Jameson."
